Who do y’all think is the best young player on the Bucks?
@dominicelliott37205 күн бұрын
Real quick just wanna say good job on the vids but you said Chris Livingston being highly ranked coming outta highschool means nothing and then turned around and said aj Johnson not being ranked high outta high school means nothing, just saying it’s contradictory. But I like your videos and respect your opinion. A lil harsh on the young guys but it’s hard not to be in win now mode😅

Aj Johnson not being ranked high outta highschool was concerning****
@dominicelliott37205 күн бұрын
And I think the best is aj green obviously, but favorite is Ajax
@Mrcool197714 күн бұрын
What does it matter . If Dame plays the same way , we are going nowhere.

Just my opinion that AJ Green is being over hyped by Bucks fandom. He plays decent defense but when he was really needed he was cold. I don’t see what others see. Definitely wouldn’t put him over Andre Jackson who impacted the game when he was in.
@thefrenchfryguy99594 күн бұрын
AJ is great bro. I love Ajax but he’s a horrible scorer
@adamdavis53124 күн бұрын
I’m with you. Totally overhyped. People like him for obvious reasons, that I won’t get into. But if he’s a starter, this team will be trash.
@Bretkane4 күн бұрын
AJ can shoot, but expecting him to be our starting sg would be a bad move, we gotta find another minimum veteran
@Eli_J_4 күн бұрын
@@thefrenchfryguy9959 great? See that’s exactly what I’m saying. Overhype! He can shoot but when his shooting was needed, he went cold. 4.5 points, 1 rebound, 1/2 assist per game. There’s nothing great about those stats.

Lol you can’t be serious…

We will be ok, we need to keep them incorporated in the game and keep them engaged. Learn as you go so when situations happen they’ll know what to do

AJ Green isn’t that young… dude going to be 25 years old before the season starts… that’s one year younger than Jason Tatum, and older than Morant, Zion, Maxey, etc

Good point. Was debating on including him

in my opinion Marjon is the best from the young guys he definitely more skilled than all the young guys. i dont see Aj green being the starting 2 due to him being smaller than some other more stronger/athletic sg.
@Thisguygetit4 күн бұрын
Marjon can’t defend
@axxjay78164 күн бұрын
@@Thisguygetit So far I agree. But AJ green at the starting sg would get cooked by starting Sg in other teams. he would not be able to guard guys like anthony edwards, Paul george, devin booker etc.
@barrettsbucksbreakdown24464 күн бұрын
Yeah it’s a shame because he should be able to
@Thisguygetit3 күн бұрын
@@axxjay7816 I’m a big Green fan. I think he will be solid! He was coming off of a ankle injury before the playoffs and no way he was 100 percent for that. Solid defender and a knock down shooter

Sad thing is Doc doesn't really play young guys he's kind of notorious for it.

Aj Johnson was 5star prospect projected to be the 13th pick in highschool

As long as Doc is coaching the Bucks are doomed no matter what

There's some confirmation bias from the initial ignorance turned outrage about the Johnson pick. He was good at the combine scrimmages, outstanding when you factor in age. He's a pg & 1/4 in. shorter than SGA. How's he not tall at least? He barely got to play pg abroad. His recruiting rankings were 16 on Rivals, 25 on 247 Sports. He's fast AF. Jennings & Giannis were skinny, struggled abroad, then contributed immediately in open space NBA. Plenty to like.
@barrettsbucksbreakdown24464 күн бұрын
Yeah tbh if Horst had a better track record with his picks I could maybe buy in to some of that
@bernman234 күн бұрын
@@barrettsbucksbreakdown2446 but that's sort of admitting it's not being looked at individually, isn't it? Because his height is objective & performance at the combine an independent reality.

Horst is good with his picks we just never keep any of them

we are doomed in a few years. won’t even have our picks either…
@barrettsbucksbreakdown24464 күн бұрын
That’s why I’m an advocate for trading Bobby for picks but Bucks fans don’t seem to like that lol
@whynotdoitanyways54664 күн бұрын
The bucks are done. 90 million a year spent on 2 players. Looking back at the trade for Dame and we were way better before the trade. We have no money to spend on players. I think the coach can get these guys to play for him. We gave all of our pics away also so no good draft pics in the near future so no chance of getting better. One title and done for the Bucks. With G we should have had 3 championships. Something about professional teams in Wisconsin…can have the best players but only manage to get 1 championship out of them because of shitty draft pics and trades and lack luster coaching.
@barrettsbucksbreakdown24464 күн бұрын
I wouldn’t say done. Last 3 years either Khris or Giannis was hurt. If we’re healthy we got a shot
@natejr2433 күн бұрын
Also it’s Wisconsin. Free agents prefer to go to teams in warm cities or major media markets.

sorry, but that's culture mate... you cant win top basketball minds like that.. holiday.. he's one more boston legend now, what's your veterans..? that's culture.. know how, respect, boost. that's why i always say come on, it's just the milwaukee bucks man...

I like aj a lot as well. I think marjon will be better was in a broken system the beginning of the year then apparently had a nagging injury. Ajax could be good but he is a little too pass first would like to see him create his own shot. But very smart with the ball seems to limit dumb mistakes.
@barrettsbucksbreakdown24464 күн бұрын
Nah we need pass first guys that just knock down open ones. Dont need another dude looking for his shot with Dame, Khris, Giannis and Brook

The Bucks is ready for the post-Giannis' era. haha. After this season is over, I predict Jon Horst, Doc Rivers, Brook Lopez, Khris Middleton, Bobby Portis and Pat Connaughton will not be with the Bucks. I don't bother to rank Bucks' young players because NONE of them is going to be a rotational player.

Middleton is a Bucks for life and I will not hear otherwise.
