Garden architects is really strong for tall play not because of the duchy building but because of the court gardener position. It will provide 0.2 to 0.6 development/month based on aptitude. I’d say it easily S/A tier.

You’re right. It’s at-least an A tier. Even playing wide it’s extremely good if you most of your vassals are same culture. Did my noob island run and had most of Northern Europe in my empire. Had amazing development in Ireland, but everywhere else except France was terrible. Got garden architecture and suddenly had lots of vassals realm capitals getting 1+ development a month with court gardener and percentage bonuses. Very useful in a wide empire if you’re not getting neighbor growth since the AI only likes to do development growth in short bursts, not giving steady development growth.

Castle keepers are easely a broken S-tier, cause unlike number of dinasty members, this has no hard cap, and each member can have 5-7 castles on average making few dukes under you gain as much renown as several emperors do. Now imagine empire fully staffed with nothing but members of your house, with this culture bonus, and all king tier vasals having artifacts that increase renown gain % per month. I got up to +200 renown each month that way, going trough all dinasty bonuses by the end game, and since im patriarch and it costs something around 150 renown to revoke king level title from a faction leader, without incuring any tiranny, only to later give it away to another member of my culture, and redistribut artifacts that I got from said revocation amongst less discontent people.

I tend to rely heavily on extremely strong man-at-arms, setting feudal contracts to more gold, less levies. Greco-Norse with Eastern Roman Legacy and Coastal Warriors is completely bonkers.

One of the strongest traditions that wasnt on that wiki page is Visigothic Codes that Basque, Catalan and Aragonese get. It gives you High Partition succession, which in 867 is very very very strong.

Isn't that an Innovation?
@adam_krauss2 жыл бұрын
@@tzaphkielconficturus7136 Yes, but Visigothic Codes is a tradition that lets you have it at game start, not in the 3rd age like 250 years after game start

For Polders it's S tier if you start in Ireland. Pick Dutch culture and start in western ireland, theres wetlands all over the place, spam cheap skirmishers and you start getting efficient warfare.

Equal Inheritance would be F tier if there was a tier, it's completely redundant with equal inheritance from religion, all you're doing is wasting a tradition slot.

I think Industrial got nerfed hard, limited to only triggering once per year, I can't think of any other off the top of my head

Coourt positions -20% cost is in most cases amounts to 1 gold a month in savings making the hospitality trait worthless.
