Ah sorry guys, I'm going to have to disagree with most of you on this one. 18 months to come up with names and logos that are borderline average at best, and bad at worst. Boston Fleet - agreed, one of the stronger ones. The people of Hartford might argue that it's a warped Whalers logo though. Minnesota Frost - how many icicles do you know grow sideways? NY Sirens - buttery name, straight up bad logo. Ottawa Charge - if the Calgary Flames merged with the Cleveland Cavaliers and was drawn by a six-year old, you'd get this. Toronto Sceptres - aka the 'Toronto Taylor Swifts'. Remove the S from the monogram (keep the T and the orb) and it's actually a pretty cool logo. Montreal Victoire - easily the best logo and name. Somebody clearly drew inspiration from 'Goon 2: Last of the Enforcers'. Z mentioned that the Bardown team couldn't do any better ... but I bet they actually could?!

Years ago some of us were conceptualizing womens hockey team names for San Jose. Sirens came up as the mythological creature and had a close tie to the Sharks. No way San Jose would get a PWHL team so soon but I think it is a missed opportunity to have the San Jose Sirens

Very disappointed they didn't mention about the New York logo/name 1. It's the same colours as their WNBA team, so there's instant brand recognition in the city. People could see this and assume it's another women's sports team. Also tons of cross-sport marketing incoming 2. A siren in Greek mythology is a creature half bird and half woman who lured sailors to destruction by the sweetness of her song. This wasn't mentioned on the website, but neither was any connection between sirens and police or other first responders. I think it fits women's hockey far better than that would.

The names are logos are fine. But, there were two strong fan favorites that I would have much preferred for them to do: The Boston Banshees, and the Minnesota Valkyries. Boston is still my absolute favorite and The Fleet wasn't a bad choice, but maaaan Banshees would have been fun. As for the Sirens, I am only disappointed in the name because i was REALLY hoping that would be the name of a Seattle expansion team in the future (I mean come on, having the Kraken and the Sirens in the same city?) .

Ottawa's City logo is absolutely beautiful and roughly the right shape. Turn the towers into lightning bolts, cut a lightning bolt shape out of the O at the 10 o'clock with angles on BOTH sides. Sirens could have had a better graphical design but, it’s identifiable and fits in with the Islander lore. Sceptors…this one made me think of Poseidon’s trident. Would have been more fitting of a Maritime province team, but. It looks great. Only downside graphically is. Looks like a damn Basketball on top. Connect it to the T and you have infinitely better look, plus at that point it does look like a Sceptor. Victory…reminds me of the Washington Capitals design, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Chargers? Was that actually the name of it? Only one I actually was able to name from image alone (helps I knew there’s a team in Ottawa)…too much of a homage to the Flames for sure. Maybe instead of the claws, could have had a lean in the C, kinda like how Crazy Taxi looks. However I’m sure there’s millions of trademarks there. Frost…worst one by far. Made me think of potentially Florida. As far as I’m aware of, closest thing the PWHL has to a QMJHL logo. Just. Do better Minnesota.
