You clearly don't understand the definition of Confluence for STL. The Missouri and Mississippi rivers merge in St Louis, tithe exact definition of confluence. it has nothing to do with waves. Also every single jersey is unique, no 2 "wave" patterns are the same which makes every jersey unique. If you dont like it thats fine, but maybe do a little research about the designs before you just assume a land locked city is trying to refer "waves".

Yeah, no one does unless you live there. I agree though, research. Atlanta kit is based on the Atlanta city seal.

For everyone saying the Charlotte FC kit doesn't have the ocean on it, yes it does. If you follow the club at all, the release video is all about the kit being for both of the Carolinas, which span from the mountains to the ocean. The bottom, darker blue, does actually represent the ocean, while the upper lighter blue is the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Timber Fan Here. One thing I notice with the Timbers Kit is that, being in the Northwest, it get wet, so a lot of fans are going to were jackets. This allowed the crust to be shown when the jacket is open a little, and not block for other to see.

STL is on the river. Our badge has the Missouri and Mississippi river on it, which is also on the STL flag. It is a safe looking kit, but that low is criminal when Toronto is on the board.

When did Charlotte move to the coast on North Carolina? The blue is to represent the mountains lol.

The bottom blue is the ocean, because both of the Carolinas go from the mountains to the coast. The club actually said all this when they released the kit.

Atlanta United’s kit is based on the city’s flag that has a blue background and a yellow Phoenix on it. So that’s why we’re don’t have our traditional colors for our away kit.

NYCFC fan here. I'm not in love with our 2024 jersey,but it's not bad,either. My favorites are Portland (it's GORGEOUS! My women's team is Angel City FC, and it reminds me of their 2022 "Daylight" kit) Dallas (I love the gradient from blue to red. It would also look great as a national team kit. I can imagine,say,the Dominican Republic doing it) Houston (great shade of purple,and it's clean for an Adidas jersey) ,and Colorado (can't go wrong with those colors) With the rest,can Adidas please, please,PLEASE quit it with the stripes on the shoulders?! It ruins jerseys which would be so great! Instead,they make MLS kits look like warm-up kits

Thank you for Charlotte's placement, but the "waves" are to both represent the Carolina's coasts and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Every CLT fan loves these kits.

LA Galaxy should always have the blue slash on their jerseys. Always. I don't know why they keep going away from it. I hate it. I hate how Addidas has to screw with what works just so they have something to do every year. lol.

Charlotte is NOT on the coast in North Carolina. Charlotte is in the middle of NC near the SC state line. The lines represent the Blue Ridge Mountains as well as the coastlines. Still love that you put us in the Top 5 though.

The design in the bottom right corner for CF Montreal is the 5 emblems that are on the flag of the city, representing the Indigenous people, French, English, Irish and Scottish.

are these all the home kits, I feel like some of those are the teams away kits and others are the home. If so that’s not a fair comparison.

they are a mix of home and away. unfortunately with the mls, they only get one new kit per season. So if they go Home the year before, they keep that the following year and will get Away as the new kit. I agree, I wish I was comparing home to home and away to away, but at the end of the day I just want to compare the new stuff.

Chicago in red again? I'd rank them higher just for that in itself. The first time I saw the Chicago Fire in ANYTHING they wore red. So I always thought that was supposed to be there main color. About time they went back to it. Ha ha ha.

I am by no means a soccer traditionalist, but i hate how the sponsor logo is usually front and center on the jerseys and not the teams actual logo. To me, the sponsor should never be bigger than the team logo. If i made a soccer jersey, it would be more like hockey uniforms in terms of logo placement.

So… everyone who has been ranking these jerseys are getting something wrong and i have to clarify… Charlotte FC’s kit is not the ocean… its not the waves… they are depiction of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Anyone who has driven through or close to them will easily recognize the various shades of blue you see when driving by. Also Charlotte is not near the coast at all bro lol

@@TLFootballContent I mean it wouldn't even be a ripoff, plenty of teams in the world share colors, hell Juventus wear stripes because of Notts County (or atleast that's the story I've heard) if anything it's "inspired by" their kits.
