Ranking Every 2D Mario Game!

Now here's a video that I've wanted to make for a long time. Today I'll be ranking every mainline 2D Mario game in anticipation of Super Mario Bros Wonder!

Great list! The only thing I'd change is Mario 3 into the perfect tier, but other than that, really solid. At the end of the day, there isn't a bad Mario game, so it's hard to rank them.

I agree with most of your list except i'd put the original Super Mario Bros much higher. But thanks for giving love to Super Mario Land 2 and Wario Land !

Feel like Wario Land belongs on the list as much as the Yoshi’s Island games they are 2D platformers and they appear in Mario games so completely fine having them there and they are also amazing games so I don’t see why they wouldn’t be on the list

the usa version of smb2 is a re skin of a Japanese game called doki doki panic, because nintendo of america thought the og smb2 would be to difficult. thats why we will more likely never see another mario game like it.
