As someone who tested sefris...DO NOT GO FOR THE "Dungeon of the mad mage" unless you have a engine going for venture, it locks sefris out of her trigger, "Tomb of anihilation" is actually the best dungeon for sefris, the downsides of that dungeon are actually upsides cause not only they trigger your commander effect, but also fill your graveyard so you can reanimate the things you discarded

@@charyou3167 Sefris will trigger at the end of the dungeon of course, but dungeon of the madmage takes a lot of time to end without a proper venturing engine (like 3 or 4 dungeon triggers per turn), that means you are not getting any reanimation value from sefris. When I say "Locking her out of her trigger" it's because doing other faster dungeons give you more value from your commander then doing madmage, as, again, you wont be doing any reanimation with your commander for what could be an entire game

Storvold seems a little underrated. Ward 3 for your whole board is solid protection, and since you're in bant, you can play mana dorks which storvold can make into relevant attackers, while shrinking the best creature your opponent has. So maybe he doesn't do a lot on his own, but I think he generates solid combat that the deck can be built around to take advantage of. (As for klauth, the dragon mythal was basically a spell that elves casted in their ancient war against evil dragons. The spell however ended up effecting all dragons and caused them to go berserk. If I remember correctly this was a huge plot point of an earlier DnD edition because the mythal was reactivated, and dragon cultists used the opportunity to convince dragons to become dracoliches (because the spell did not affect undead dragons).

I also think it's inderestimated. Ward 3 is huge and he's got a very good etb. Basically +7/+7 if you're playing some 0/0 creatures with counters.

One great part of Karazikar is that you don't have to attack with it. You can hold it back to protect it. Just send in a tiny thing with deathtouch and profit

Sefris definitely has some real power. You build your deck as removal, counterspells, and enchantment / artifact removal so you can remove RiP / leyline type graveyard hate. Every turn you just kill or counter a creature, draw some cards, and murder people with their own creatures. I think this was the best designed dungeon card, by far. You don't need tons of ramp, you don't need your own creatures, you don't even need payoffs, because your opponents will provide them.

Wulfgar wasnt just a prisoner, he was the prisoner of Errtu a balor demon in the Abyss. He was tortured physically and mentally for 6 years and his mind almost broke. He was never the same afterward. The books were much more enjoyable when he was his happy-go-lucky self. It was about as dark as those books get (which isn't very) for a while after he was rescued.

I'm a big fan of Galia. Future Sighty Autoequip seems awesome. I don't even feel like you necessarily have to go Voltron. I personally enjoy spreading my threats, and just gaining value through equipped creatures that attack and block really well. Untapping all your lands with FaF and Bear Umbra, ramping with Sword of Hearth and Home and Sword of the Animist. I love equipment in Commander, but I'm also a little biased because Paladin is my favorite class in D&D. Anyway this deck has a couple new arts for cards if you guys didn't know! The Heroic Intervention in this deck is beautiful!

Conspiracy DOES remove all other creature types listed actually. So if you want to have a sub theme or even just a couple of other cards that take advantage of a particular type, then it combos especially well. On the other hand, balancing for this card is a challenge anyway. This demon has an effect similar to Tergrid, but it's life based. So building properly around this commander would need some mixture of gaining a bunch of life, and getting a bunch of stuff into the opponent's graveyard, while still defending yourself well from enemy creatures.

I think they didnt mentioned that the giant can do both things every attack. You dont have to cholse between. And i personally would rank the vigilance commander higher. Its so powerful to equip equipments on a vigilance body for free

Works with isochron too...), it reads "creature loses all types"; or something that "changes creatures's type to x", without stating "in addition to other types", that way it explicitly isn't a warlock anymore

Sefris and Nihiloor are some of the most interesting Esper commanders I seen in a while. And interesting tidbit bout Sefris, she is so far the only non partner Esper commander who has a reanimation effect on her, making her most likely the strongest Esper reanimator option so far. Also, I was wondering when they would do a Combatanomicon, well done on Wulfgar!

Re: Prosper, Anje Falkrath's deck was all about Madness and was also Rakdos. There are a bunch of new Rakdos Madness cards in MH2. Of course you need a discard enabler to make that work but He's begging to be in Anje's deck or to pull in some of her cards. Prosper with a bit of tweaking can be a nasty deck, Generating a ton of mana advantage.

K'rrik, Vilis, Lorcan... does Wizards *want* me to only make mono black lifegain decks? And from what it seems, Conspiracy is a replacement effect. It says "Creatures you control are the chosen type." As opposed to are the chosen type in addition to any type they already were. There is a ruling that says "affected spells, cards, and creatures lose all of their other creature types." So they would cease being warlocks.

I disagree rage in it of itself is not an ability that should be exclusive to anyone, and rage is like barbarian main thing in D&D. He's very clearly meant to be the path of ancients subclass for the barbarian which also creates spirits to help you fight.
