It’s not exactly that she’s weak. I just don’t she can beat anyone above her necessarily. Very Hax, good speed, decent stats. All strong qualities. But? Short of her controlling someone like Mereum or Shiggy? They both just have higher stats IMO. No shade to Makima though. We even have a full 30+ Minute video dedicated to Gojo Vs Makima, if you haven’t seen it yet. She’s undoubtedly underrated by some.

She does have an absolutely massive kit of powerful devils to use. And you’re also correct that Makima controls people based on perception. But? Aside from maybe Shiggy. I don’t see any reason why she’d perceive them as weaker. And, assuming she doesn’t? I don’t think she can take the rest of them 1v1. Just my thoughts though! @@TUCKALMIGHTY also I know you aren’t trying to throw shade at Makima, I just feel like most people don’t know how to scale CSM in general they think that just cause it isn’t a traditional battle shonen where characters are getting ass pull power ups it’s WEAK when in reality it’s on par with Verses like Jujutsu Kaisen or MHA (well depends on which character you’re arguing for anyway lol)

@@TUCKALMIGHTY tbh I think Control will work, She has no reason to view him as something special just because he is strong as it doesn’t really matter if you’re strong than her, considering she has seen plenty of strong foes in the past anyways she’d have to have some respect for you to the point she wouldn’t control you and she doesn’t know Shiggy so she’ll just Control him, also I don’t think Control is Makima’s only win con, she can just use the Mold Devil’s powers and Grow Mold within Shiggy’s body killing him in the process, BFR him with the Hell Devil, Insta kill him with the curse Devil by stabbing him 3 times (if she can catch him anyway given he’s much faster it’s unlikely), or use Biology Manipulation to just kill him

Ohh. It’s mainly due to the fact, that Horikoshi’s health issues- forced him into a situation, of rushing the story- around the time of the PLW Arc. Characters like Deku, who used to have depth- and intrigue. As a self sacrificing, empathetic hero. Were reduced to one note portrayals. With the massive side cast falling to the way side- due to a weird shift in the power progression. (Literally everyone besides Deku becomes useless after vigilante arc) And the saddest part- is the rushed payoffs, the crushed years of buildup. Mirio getting his quirk back off screen, Deku mastering OFA off screen, Bakugo just pulling an Uno reverse card to say All-Might in the final battle, etc… I feel like a lot of what I enjoyed about the first four seasons, in the details/characters- just sort of went away, as the franchise progressed. I still don’t hate MHA though, I just don’t like it that much. (As for why Shigaraki gets a pass, it’s because My Villain Academia is a peak arc in the series- with his backstory being sad & well handled- plus? He just makes for a great antagonist. He is the only example I can think of in anime, where a main villain went from loser- to chad- and didn’t feel forced. So, he gets major props from me.)

This is an interesting take. And? I can kind of see how you came to this conclusion. Especially if you believe Sukuna is low Mach speeds. Although? I might say Mereum is still a little too low. Otherwise? Good list.

Honestly? If you buy FTL JJK? and remember that Sukuna can obliterate most of Shibuya in one attack (with only 15 F) You could probably argue he shreds all of Japan in a matter of a few days. Where as (assuming she sees Sukuna like a curse, and not a person) Makima would have to find some magic trick to kill a person, with 1000+ years of experience, regen, and possibly Megumi’s summons too. And I don’t think her AP really keeps up (outside of her Hax weapons) so Sukuna probably just has to dodge some life steal attacks for the most part. Just my opinion though.

Also, I think Mereum’s potential is higher than Sukuna- and his Rage canon is deadly. But yes, his speed & lack of other Hax sell that fight (and most others) for him IMO.

Makima >= Muzan Is a fine take I think. Muzan might be faster, and is slightly more immortal. Plus he has better hand to hand abilities IMO with his tentacle things. But otherwise? Makima has better Hax, enough stats to keep up, and way better stamina (since the sun can kill muzan)

Demon Slayer has multiple, multiple demons- who use real actual lightning. With many slayers blocking or blitzing that. And even fodder characters like season 1 start of series Tanjiro, casually dodging faster than sound attacks. As for hand to hand? I didn't necessarily mean in skill (although Makima made Quanxi fear her through power, not skill anyways.) But, Instead. I was mostly referring to all his tentacle arms that are poison tipped, giving him huge range/versatility when not nerfed.

Madara >=== Aizen >= Zeref > Sukuna > Blackbeard > Shigaraki > Meruem >= Makima > Muzan > Eren And yes, I would love to see Madara vs Aizen become a video. It's perhaps my favorite matchup in anime versus debating and super complex and close imo. You think my other comments were long? I could write an entire book on Madara vs Aizen. Tl;dr tho, I got Madara winning with _extreme_ difficulty. And I honestly agree with pretty much all of these placements, another epik video indeed!

I honestly think this is kind of true. Especially when you really stop to think about it. The most OP broken abilities are always given to the MC & Villain at the end. Because after the one, super specific battle they have to be part of (against each other) their powers/abilities don’t matter. Because story is over. So? Things like Naruto becoming a God. Itadori/Megumi/Yuta potentially surpassing Gojo. And Ichigo mastering all of his powers. All only really work, because story is done- and they don’t have to worry about writing for the OP MC after words. As for scale? BB > Sukuna is fine. I think it’s debatable- since Teach Is featless. Zeref > BB & Sukuna is also good. However Aizen I disagree with. Since specifically prime Aizen (who this video focused on) has the hogyoku and turned into Butterfly Aizen, where he surpassed Old Man Yamma & Squad Zero. This is why Ichigo had to learn Dangai (& lose the power afterwards) to beat him. So Butterfly Aizen > Yama > Base Aizen. And? Madara is a SoSP level character. With Juubi + 3 Rinnegan + Hashirama Level Chakra + Hax, he should at least be similar to Zeref IMO. So my personal final list? Would be like- Aizen >= Madara >= Zeref > BB >= Sukuna >>> Everyone else. If they’re in the same tier though? Honestly I think the fight could go mostly either way. So? Take it for what you will.

@@TUCKALMIGHTY aizen isn't above zero squad at that point maybe when fighting ywach but he was getting folded by ywach so he's not really in the same tier as him idk how aizen will deal with limbo clones attacking from another plane existence , being put into a genjutsu or a reality warp to bring himself back at the cost of his eye, aizen lacks the power to me and only has suigetsu he no long has the wish orb since it rejected at the end of his fight with ichigo and according to ywach in the anime aizen is killable just would be troublesome. zeref on the otherhand is definitely above those two due to timestop and instant death magic , there's no way around it zeref just stops time as soon as the fight starts and GG instant death you unless you can restart your heart you are dead immediately.

@@halojeff15 Both Madara and Aizen don’t require their heart to survive, hell, both have had their heart obliterated on panel and laughed it off. And honestly, Time Stop shouldn’t stop Limbo as it exists in a different dimension with a different flow of time. Madara, Aizen, and Zeref are close for sure, and they’re definitely significantly above everyone else here.
