The Flash's season finale was so bad because it ruined Zoom. Eric Wallace already ruined Thawne, so that wasn't as big of a deal to me.

@kacperkremer7250 I never read thr comics, so that last little bit with Max Mercury and the female speedster did not mean much to me. Other than Barry, Joe, and Iris, I was over that show.

The last episode should’ve been the one when Barry goes back to his mother’s death, could’ve been a full circle giving a proper ending. Personally that’s my true series finale, the rest isn’t canon

Eric Wallace should never have been show runner of the flash, he ruined the show for his ego and for what he cared about and not everyone else. I hope James Gunn chooses not to work with or involve him with any DC projects in the future

It never fails to amaze me how The Flash was mishandled so extensively in the later seasons; the finale was extra bad, but it’s just another bad episode among many that came after seasons 1-3. I wish the cast could get another chance with a competent production team. If James Gunn had any idea what he was doing, he’d announce Grant Gustin as the DCU Flash. The show canon doesn’t even have to be followed, just give Grant good material to work with.

Both stargirl and superman and lois showed alot of promise which I've already accepted stargirls ending for as they said in the final shot that they ended up having more adventures and pretty much became their worlds new justice society of america but as older more experienced which yea ima miss that show

Superman and Lois is personally for me my favorite Superhero show we had in a decade and plus seeing Superman and Lois being great parents to their kids adapted from my favorite era of dc rebirth era comics with Superman Clark Kent and Lois lane being good parents to their son Jonathan Samuel Kent superboy and Jordan Kent was freaking fantastic in my opinion.

@wolfgang6442 I watched the first four seasons of Legends. While the first 3 were good, season 4 was the stupidest thing I've ever seen. I think I watched Supergirl season 1. Melissa was great as Kara, but the show itself had bad writing in my opinion.

I don't remember much about Black Lightning series finaly (it's been years), but I remember the finale battle between Jjefferson and Tobias Whale and that was a good final battle between life-long enemies

I have the same rankings. Stargirl and Superman & Lois just looked better with the cinematography and because they had shorter episode runs each season they had less filler episodes and felt less dragged out.

From worst to best finales (the ones I watched) 5. The Flash 4. Legends (ended on a cliffhanger but still has a better and more cohesive story) 3. Arrow 2. Stargirl 1. S&L Stargirl and S&L had similar endings, both end on a time jump telling us what happened to the characters in the future

Here’s my ranking for the series finale of each arrowverse show, also before everyone goes crazy with the bottom ranking, I am omitting a few shows simply because I have not seen them or seen the majority of the show so it wouldn’t be fair 1. Superman and Lois 2. Stargirl 3. Arrow 4. The Flash 5. Legends of Tomorrow 6. Batwoman 7. Supergirl/Black Lightning (I didn’t watch these shows regularly and only saw two or three episodes of each)

All viewing is subjective. And I'm sure recency bias has a lot to do with it. However, *_FOR ME,_* judging which Series Finale is the best has to come down to if I will remember it years from now. For example, I remember a series finale from 1983 that is *_STILL_* with me. I remember it intimately. *_And that was 41 years ago._* I can honestly say that I barely remember the series finales of most of these shows. In fact, I don't think I've watched most of them more than just once or twice. But ask me if I'll remember the Series Finale of Superman and Lois and I have to say that I will probably remember it for a long time to come. I've already watched it four times. So, for me, Superman and Lois is easily Number One.

I think out of all the arrowverse proper shows (Superman and Lois and Stargirl were never on earth prime) arrow definitely ended the best. They had an actual plan for the ending of the show and it felt like a final season. I mean they kinda knew in season 7 that 8 was gonna be the last.!

to me you cannot rank any of these shows because the finals came about in different situations. only the flash, arrow and superman and lois were shows that knew that the season was there last, so that the story was set and told as it was going to be the end. so here are my ratings,. 3 the flash( because it leaves us asking guestions what could have happened) 2 arrow(a death always puts the period on a story or a show ) 1 superman and lois ( like i said with number 2 death gives it a final ending plus it gaves us a complete ending for the whole kent family lois dies , clark/superman dies the boys grownup to become men and have wives and kids of there own,)

I will switch Flash and Supergirl because Flash has two good seasons and three watchable seasons. Yes, the rest are garbage, but Flash at least hits at some point. Supergirl is unwatchable since season one, that iteration is also just cheap copy from Superman, which is so far from comic Kara should be like

I get that it looked so bad that it wasn't deemed worth watching at all, Im not saying I wasted my time watching it, but there's a degree of suckage that should make it hard to forget, even if you want to do just that. And therefore, Im surprised that the Gotham Knights show didnt make this list at all and probably tied with BatSJW as the worst one. Btws: I think Flash shouldve been ranked lower than it was. Imma have to disagree bout the way things wrapped up salvaging it to some extent. As those parts either were focused on lame team Flash characters (with an entire section of that wasted on giving Cecil, who is arguably the worst reoccurring character in the show's history, the limelight); or teasing things that would never come to be a thing as it's a series finale so why bother? I think that the only way to salvage any of it is a reboot of the entire thing, which I have quite a few thoughts on but point is, as is, it's not salvageable in any way to me. Sure the meeting of the Legion of Zoom started off interesting but that even derails (probably when PowerrangersVillainWannabe was brought in to be exact). So overall nothing really salvageable but still gotta be better than BatSJW and Gotham KnightSJW

im sorry pagey but i disagree with most of your anking and the reason you decided it in my opinion it goes 1. Superman and Lois, 2. Arrow, 3. Supergirl, 4. The Flash, 6. Stargirl, 6. Black Lightning, 7. Batwoman and 8. Dc's Legends of Tomorrow and i wanted to see alot of the spinoffs that they canceled like Green Arrow and the Canaries, Justice U, Painkiller, and a couple other ones and i really wanted to see the one with the superboys and see jordan and jonathan kent living the married life with kids and doing the hero thing since they are way different then their dad please let me know what you think

Superman and Lois Finale Sucked imo. It was miserable and morbid and overly melancholy for me. I cant stand that they decided to show Superman dying as a old man and Lois dying of cancer. Ruined it for me

It was either that or Superman outliving everybody which would have been depressing as fuck. The ending wasn't depressing because he and Lois got to live out full and complete lives together while leaving behind an incredible legacy with their sons and their grandchildren. Superman dying as an old man is all he ever wanted because all he's ever wanted was to be human. And Lois dying of her cancer made sense because in reality cancer commonly comes back in your old age. It's only miserable to you because most Superhero media is adamantly against giving characters a true and final ending where they're not brought back later by some bullshit. If the finale upset you, then I'm sorry but you missed the ENTIRE message the show was trying to convey.
