But.. if you ARE bowser / fire plant / poison plant.. wouldn't you be resistant to your own defense mechanism? I mean, imagine if you were a venomous snake and you killed yourself from you own venom.. venomous snakes are immune to their venom. I think the same logic can be applied here too, right?
