What I will say in defence of Rooney is Brendan Rodgers had a similarly poor start to his management career at two messy clubs. Mediocre time at Watford and then had a disastrous time at Reading where he had them near the drop zone. Got Swansea promoted the next year.

Surprised DB so far down the list now from JM - like Manning a City Group manager though unlike got Murphy firing in the final. Des is def. a contender for most handsome in Champ not forgetting Mousino too.

Schuey plays a style of football that wasn’t conducive to the players we had. We had centre halves of Alex Neil’s style lacking confidence on the ball. If he gets recruitment right his style will get the fans behind him and stoke will go close this year

If shuey gets the recruitment right this season we colud finish higher than previous campaigns not saying playoffs or the tittle but I be happy with a high finish in the league
