The giant one is mean't to portray that no matter how shocking or impossible, humans will always forget about a major event, and even banalize something thats revolutionary, highlighting their selfishness and priority for their own interests, hence the dismantling of the body by random individuals, the narrator never forgets though, despite how much the people tried to take away from the value of the discovery, the researcher never forgot

Secret War is my guilty favorite to be honest. I really enjoyed the slower pacing of it, it really set the mood. I don't feel like the fights would have had as much impact without it.

Secret War was one of the only slow episodes that needed to be slow, because the whole point is that these men realize how FUCKED they are the whole time, and you're right there along with them realizing how fucked they are

One huge positive I give the show is that is has something for everyone. Personally I did not agree with several of your choices (I really like most of the action focused episodes, and did not get a feel for the more "artsy" ones), but that the show delivered solid episodes for a variety of audiences is really good! Amazing visuals for all but a few episodes, interesting ideas and wide variety. An incredible show that can be recommended to most!

My fave of each season would be Sonnies Edge, Ice, & Pulse of the Machine (my fave all-around). Zima & Bad Travelling are still goated af though. Im so glad you ranked Life Hutch high, cuz i feel like waay too many ppl diss on that one😭. I woulda ranked the 3 robots sequel much lower, but The Dump should really be everyone's all time low (cuz thats my opinion lol). Overall, a very awesome tier-list and i loved the vid's humour

Bad Travelling is peak, sorry you couldn't see it as SSS bro (Kill Team Kill is so weird to me. On one hand, I love the art style and the humor is okay, and if it was an Adult Swim TV show series that was popular for two years in the 2010s but was discontinued for the animation popping off too hard for its own good, then I would've loved it. and on the other hand... Jesus Christ man, it's a weaker version of the Dracula cave story with even cornier imagery. Maybe if my blood was IPA and I drove my big strong Cybertruck at 80 MPH through school zones while blaring Guns n Roses, I would like this episode more)

I kinda see what In Vaulted Halls Entombed was trying to go for, the name alone screams Lovecraftian horror and I’m pretty sure the yellow eyed monster is actually supposed to be Hastur the King in Yellow that infects people’s minds with his Yellow Sign, the weird symbol that burns their brains, but yeah it was pretty mid even if you can sniff out the cosmic horror reference there, the military hyperrealism episodes always make me think of those shooter games with the plastic guns you’d find in arcades.

really great tier list ! def agree about zima blue. most of the disagreement i had were for sure a slight difference of personal taste, but in particular lucky 13 was strange : i barely remember it, even though i watched it as many times as the others, and i know i found it pretty boring. not sure i could tell you why, but it does seem i'm not alone in that so i'd wager there is more to it

I gotta say definitely an adult show, but found it very hard to watch. I'm not sure if it's just because of my age or not, but it seemed far more crude and harsh. Than anything i've been used to For the most part, I liked the show, but also found every other episode that I was screaming at somebody to do something obvious or I was almost on the brink of crying due to the terribleness of the shows, I like them and hate them in one

LDR is such a diverse show with so many different focuses and tones, that there will NEVER be a "good" ranking of them.
