The problem with exotics is that often times, they are so niche and difficult to get, that there was no real point in getting them, let alone spending 500 gold for a weapon that really doesn’t do much to help you win the game. Even the decent to good or even great ones like the Shadow tracker, Dragon’s Breath Sniper, and the Grappler and Unstable Bows were too out of the way to really be useful (yes, I know when the Shadow Tracker came back, it was in the middle of the map).

One time when they updated Fortnite the Shadow Tracker was costing 250. 250 for this pistol is criminal amd farming gold isn’t that hard. It never was, in fact you can emp vending machines, use the bus to honk or just break the gold stacks inside bunkers. You can still play against bots it you add one and you play offline, farm gold there and play pubs.

The burst quad launcher is actually a smart rocket as it has the ability to turn on its own. It also doesn’t have any bullet drop, the two rockets spiral around each other

i feel like the purpose of exotics was solely to make the game fun, it felt like when you had an exotic, you had a weapon that mutated into something so special and unique, the spiners shooting clingers and fire is a good example, the heisted weapons likecthe p-90 that would give you infinite sprint and the shottie that increased in fire speed as u do damage...to the point its as fast or faster than the combat(while doing about heavy shotgun levels of damage) is sick. they were designed for memers, i said it before, ever since we saw lazarbeam with kits grenade launcher, epic knew we needed more fun/meme items

You know, since rarity affects the amount of mods and stuff, maybe exotics can have 3 regular mods and one "exotic mod" which could be like a magazine that regenerates ammo, a laser sight that marks people you hit, a scope that boosts headshot damage, etc. that would be a neat way for epic to re-add them to the current system

Completely agree with the criticism of the dub but it has a special place in my heart in chapter four season one there was a trick where if you had the augment that gave you the low grav affect and you combined that with the dub it would launch you high enough that you could fly infinitely with it me and my duo would farm gold for a few games and then we would do the glitch we did that all winter break. We had a blast

The burst quad was done dirty. First that gun has close to zero bullet drop because after you shoot the gun the two rockets go in a spiraling motion towards where you aimed. Second there are 4 bursts in a mag not 2. You can try all this out in creative

Two things, one, I think you forgot to mention that the Nighthawk is hitscan, so it’s better than a lot of DMR’s just because of that. And two, the dub is clearly not made for battle, it’s a mobility item, a flintknock with two shots, and you’ve never acknowledged that. I get that it seems like it’s made to kill since it has shotgun delay and since it’s a double barrel, but it’s supposed to be used for mobility and also as a get off me tool. Think of it as a localized shockwave, it launches you into battle and enemies away from battle if you hit them.

A couple of things I disagree with. (Surprisingly it is not about the Boom Sniper) I think the Slap Splashes should be WAY higher, since it did THIRTY health from ONE splash. And the Slap effect for 1 minute was SO useful. And I also think that the Blink mag SMG should be WAY lower. I just never liked the Twin mag, and the exotic one’s gimmick is cool, for all of the two seconds it lasts for. I’d personally put it in number 13 or 12.

The Stink Bow was incredibly good at applying pressure, and the Explosive Bow was too. Bows were also good if you could aim them, easier to use than a sniper with the arc tbh.

I feel like if the Dub was a combat shotgun instead of a double barrel it would be about 10X better you would still atleast be able to play fights on height. Really hope we get more exotics soon, i'd love to see something like a flint knock smg It would be sick to see someone flying around like a plane if they had 5 of them. Also 1 thing you forgot to mention about the run 'n' gun smg is that when holding it you had infinite slap effect making it amazing for W keying people or rotating without a vehicle (don't remember it doing a pepper effect though)

The big chill grenade launcher was a very broken weapon in competitive since the ice effect can apply to players through WALLS and made them die to storm so the team that had height and the grenade launcher basically gotten a free win with it

You actually can do damage with the snowball launcher you just need to know how to use it. If any enemy is cranking wait till thier high enough an knock them off the top or if you at any elevated location knock them off the top. ( not the easiest way to eliminate a player, but it can still be done ) Same as you can eliminate players with the Throwable Tire Mod you just needed to know how an be good enough to pull it off

I honestly think the breacher shotgun is better. I liked the heavy shotgun rework and in builds its broken since you can just 1 shot builds. It also basically only hits for either 106, 185, or nothing, there is no in between which is great. Its also, obviously very good on longrange

The explosive red eye was meant to be used from the high ground. You can be shooting from balloons or a sky base 200 meters up and you won't miss a shot due to the splash radius.

great list imo switch the pulse rifle with the heisted explosive especially in zero build that gun was made for long range zero build battles and destroyed people due to the splash damage, even tho the pulse had high damage I got outgunned by everything due to the slow ads and fire rate other than that the rest of the list is valid
