i feel like Lucy's magic power is underestimated just because she's actually using magic from the zodiacs, but actually when she spoke to the Celestial Spirit King, which alot of people forgot, she literally summoned 9 Celestial Spirits at the same time, and kept them there for a solid 20 seconds... and 5 of them were zodiacs...

Lucy is quite strong but she isn't all that powerful if you look at people like Natsu, Gajeel, Laxus, Mirajane, Erza, Gray, Makarov, Gildarts, hell I'm tempted to say Wendy is stronger than Lucy for the fact that Wendy in FT 100 Years Quest she is able to use a small portion of Irene Belserion's power and that enough was able to completely obliterate a 5th Gen Dragon Slayer while they were in Dragon Force, sure Lucy's twin Star Dress is cool gaining the abilities of two spirits at the same time while also being able to summon a spirit is cool but that alone isn't enough to say Lucy is one of the stronger wizards in Fairy Tail as a whole.

Also her battles against Irene, Damaria, and Acnologia are also pretty bad ass. I agree with how far she is on the ranking system, and although she's a loving gentle soul, you don't want to get on her bad side. Even Gajeel admitted that you don't want to underestimate her. I will admit I have a huge soft spot for Wendy given her loving personality. However, I would have moved Gray a little higher up the ranking system given that he's fought against some of the most formidable enemies and his ice magic has come in handy more times than any of us care to count. Erza, nothing to say but AWESOME!!!! Although she looks intimidating on the outside, inside she's a kind and wonderful person who is nothing but understanding. And of course Natsu is badass having taken on the worst and most powerful enemies. It's a no brainer that he's Fairy Tail's most powerful wizard having defeated both Zeref, and with the help from his closest friends Gajeel, Wendy, Sting, Rouge, Lauxus, and his former enemy Eric Cobra, also takes down Acnologia too. :)

I personally believe Juvia is way more powerful than Elfman. It's just because Juvia only has a few amount of screentime, with most of the attacks she showed were Water Nebula, Water Slicer, etc. because of how the author butchered her character after joining the guild. And if the two of them fight, Elfman could never beat Juvia. Juvia can turn into water for crying out loud. I don't see how Elfman could defeat that. Erza was once scared of Juvia at one point.

I believe that Gildarts is stronger than Natsu still. Granted it was mid training but Natsu still only pushed Gildarts back even during the one year time skip albeit with a weaker attack than his secret art. Laxus and Erza is a tough one considering we watched Laxus basically casually nuke part of a forest, and that was when he had bane particles in his body still. We have seen more feats from Erza, but I still think Laxus is possibly stronger than her.

She doesn’t “become weak” after opening the gates, she is an anchor for the spirits. Her Magic Power is being actively used at a constant rate. You are like many others who don’t understand the innate magical power requirements to keep open a Celestial Gate, let alone multiple Zodiac gates. And she doesn’t hide behind them either, she fights right alongside them multiple times! Her Magic is calling allies and friends, but she’s right there on the front lines with them. She is far stronger than people think.

@@minh3508 she does get tired if she opens multiple gates back to back. Her limit prior to Second Origin was about 5 Gates in a row before she tired out. Post GMG, she not only can open 2 gates at once, but she can go up to 8 gates back to back, which is still a substantial increase. In the Alvarez Arc, she was juggling Spirits and Star Dresses aplenty before tiring out. Heck, her raw magic reserves were shown off back in season 1!! SEASON 1!! She opened NINE Celestial Gates at once. Five Zodiac and Four Silver Gates at the same time. And this was after pouring out tons of Magic Energy to open a locked Zodiac Gate. This shows you just how much raw magical power Lucy has and uses when sustaining Celestial Gates.

Erza is strong but is pretty overrated... She didn't manage much in the Spriggan ARC, other than hardly winning the fight against Irene WITH Wendy's help. Gajeel is definitely stronger than Wendy with Rogue's shadow and dragons force + way more experience. And Wendy is focused on supporting others, so I am giving it to Gajeel. Laxus is stronger than Erza without any doubt... Makarov again pretty overestimated. He is old and doesn't show much except his cool Fairy Law moments. Mirajane is pretty darn broken at the end of the series and Gray's Devil Slayer magic ain't something to laugh at. I agree that Natsu came a long way and he might still be underrated by many, but I personally think that he is the strongest as of now. If you include temporary moments like his first clash with Zeref that was interrupted by Happy... or SPOILER: Ignia's flames powers, he is definitely way higher than anyone. (And if Loke was as strong as Mira, then Lucy would be one of the scariest wizards in FT overall).

She's way stronger than Cana even before the 100 year quest. I don't think that just because Cana has fairy glitter, she's stronger than the other wizards. Juvia is even stronger than her.

Yeah! I agree he Fought Hades to a Stalemate. Beat the entire Raven tail Guild by himself. Not to mention he mastered Fairy Law. Other Guild members even said the only one stonger is Guildarts.

Awesome list, and of course Natsu is number one. Counting Dragon Cry he has killed three dragons. Acnologia and Aldoron with help and Animus on his own. Only major grievance besides a few placements being a little higher or lower and that is you forgot Max. While not really one of the strongest, he was able to keep up with Natsu right after the 7 year timescale and has gotten a little stronger. So somewhere in the early 20’s perhaps?

One things bout Fairy Tail though is it's at least more consistent and does give people moments. Heck in 100 year quest a bunch of the guys who never do anything had a big win and saved Wendy.

I dont know if the 100 year quest is canon or not but if it is Wendy and Lucy deserves to be higher. Lucy now can fuse her star dresses with her most recent one Gemini x Aquarius where Lucy created water clones of Hisui and Yukino to cast Gottfried. Wendy deserves to be higher than Laxus or Makarov since now Wendy is a high skilled enchanter and has the knowledge of Irene, one of the spriggan 12, as a personality of hers.

@@iiamdav Freed single handedly held off basically all of Alvarez at war's start. Also showed up Juvia in the battle for Fairy Tail. In addition, Freed let Lucy and Cana pass in S class trial and based off of the water battle in grand magic games Lucy might have been able to take Juvia then. Much less post-star dress form. Lucy could beat Wendy in a fight, but of course Wendy has all kinds of other useful support/healing abilities, so Wendy is probably the toughest one out of all of them to rank. I mean Wendy could heal Gildarts right? But at the same time would lose to Romeo on a vehicle, so it's not the most straight forward ranking, especially with her. Wendy can use DragonForce at will, but we don't really know how much of a difference that makes. And we do know sting and rogue can do the same thing yet always get wrecked. But the reality is that Hiro wrote the series to where these power rankings wouldn't be the most feasible thing, but at the same time it really seemed to me like some pretty obvious flaws with the vid, but I guess I could be wrong.

Lucy should be above Cana, it’s just right like that. My opinion at least. I mean, yes, Cana was able to conjure fairy glitter, great moment. Let’s not forget Lucy being able to conjure up 3 spirits at a time, which is much more needed energy than a deck of hundred cards. And since Cana has fairy glitter, Lucy has Urano Metria and Tetablos (correct me if I spell it wrong). One of the heavenly celestial magic that only she was able to cast. And let’s take a look at her feats. Her most recognized feat would be in Tártaros arc where she was able to withstand on her own fighting the tártaros army, and then the two demons. Unlike Cana who only uses cards (sorry), Lucy takes it upon herself to use her fleuve d’etoile which is an extra advantage over Cana. It means, if summoner Magic is banned, so cards and spirits aren’t allowed, Lucy would still have her whip, and Urano Metria compared to just fairy glitter. And, she doesn’t need her keys to use her Star dresses. She’s also able to join her star dress mix. That just says a lot about her.

Gray is pretty OP he was train by the greatest ice wizard ever. He has ice demon slaying magic. He is smart and calculated. The only weaknesses I would say he has is that he doesn't have overwhelming power. He has power but it's not as much as his guild mates.

Juvia/Elfman (I go back and forward on this since Elfman did texhnically beat Ajeel with help from Lisanna but he had a huge advantage and we saw basically none of the fight. Plus in a straight 1v1 Elfman would have no way to touch Juvia but he has better feats so eh).

Juvia lost to Phantom Lord Gray in her rage mode, so although her rage mode makes her a little bit stronger, it doesn't make her all that stronger because Phantom Lord Gray was relatively mid tier and she still lost to him. Lucy's recent feat in the 100 years quest manga is defeating a dragon slayer who gave people like Erza and Laxus trouble so current Lucy is definitely stronger than Phantom Lord Gray (Not current Gray) and far stronger than current Juvia as current Juvia's only recent feat is her doing a unison raid with Gray to defeat a wood golem as she was unable to damage it on her own and had to be saved by Gray, meanwhile Lucy was able to oneshot the wood golem with her Star dress mix. Plus, Juvia hasn't developed since the GMG, while Lucy has been developing for a long time now, so there's that. Juvia is pretty strong, but people overate her abilities sometimes.
