It’s crazy how future Rogue is on the list but not the actual Rogue. Also Lucy is way stronger now she should be on the list. She actually saved her friends from Tartaros, opened three gates at once, acquired star dress and summoned the celestial spirit king. Even Aquarius said she had the strength to summon him. She even learned combat training in star dress form after the guild disbanded. Also Gray and Erza should be way higher on the list. @@pizzacutz1072 Irene's position on the list compared to most of the people higher than her is fine. The only ones I don't agree with is Natsu and Mavis. Mavis feared Irene's magical power, and Natsu's Seven Flames Dragon Mode is temporary. I don't think he would defeat Irene at all, he would lose. Other than Natsu and Mavis, and reluctantly August, I'm fine with everyone else being more powerful. Zeref has immortality, so Irene cannot kill him, but in her dragon form, can Zeref harm her? If we take in Base Natsu and bump Mavis lower like she should be, Irene (base) will be tied with August at 5th place. Unless August has strength that can overpower a dragon's scales, he shouldn't be able to be Irene's dragon form without his most destructive magic abilities.

Larcade is very much confirmed to be on a whole other level from the other spriggan twelve alongside August and Eileen, he would definitely defeat dimaria. God Serena's the strongest mage from ishgard, he would probably defeat Jellal. Jellal is on par with Laxus, but not higher. Otherwise no, Mard Geer is way above mirajane. Alegria was mirajane's trongest form and last resort, a power she could only use once because of how powerful it was... Mard Geer used it casually while in base form. He's the most underrated character on this list. He would most likely stomp Bloodman tbh, it's not because the latter has the magic from all of Tartaros that he could rival him

The video games aren't canon, so alegria mirajane is still considered her strongest form. He took on Natsu, sting and rogue while fuckin sitting on his thrown, not even taking a scratch in his base form, and mirajane legitimately cannot do a single thing against memento mori, let alone any of mard geer's spells. He's just on another league from her, he was dragon level

Umm Lucy needs to be on this list, if he spirit does something (a.k.a. Celestial Spirit King) then she gets full credit because it's her magic power they are using. If the Tartarus guys make the list then it really makes no sense why Lucy doesn't. Also just cause, you should make Natsu the top spot. Why you asked? Well because he killed Acnologia, not to mention his flames were hot enough to burn away magic when he lit his soul of fire vs Zeref. That's some pretty hardcore stuff that I'd say puts Natsu on top. Also remember Natsu in his Fire Dragon King mode was able to man handle Zeref but to be fair Acnologia could also do that. It's just hard to rate those two against each other since Natsu wasn't at 100% when that fight took place and had help to make up the difference. If he was 100% with a fire in his belly I think he could take him with a little bit of plot armor to back him up :) Those are my biggest conflicts with this list. I'm curious how you're going to rank the 100 year quest characters.

Mard Geer is below Spriggan 12, considering that Mashima himself said that the Spriggan 12 are all dimensionality higher than their previous enemies, meaning they're more superior. Hades should be just below the mid tier, considering that there is 1 Year Timeskip and he's already dead.

@@lostsignature9535 Personally I think mashima more meant the amount of magic power the spriggan 12 had were in another league and not necessarily there actual strength because characters like Natsu and Gray even though there stronger than at least half the spriggans still reacted to Brandish having an extremely high magic power when they first met her and she's definitely one of the weaker members of the group. I think Mard Geer could qualify for low spriggan level strength at least, considering he would have beaten Natsu, Gray, Sting, and Rogue and they only really one because Gray had a magic specifically meant for him essentially.

Everyone with an objective mindset can agree that Erza's battle against her mother was one of the most bullshit fights in the series. Even with Wendy's help, Erza struggled to the point of near-death to land a fatal blow to Irene. In the end, Irene stood triumphant over Erza's beaten and battered body. Irene could have killed Erza with her own katana, but she opted against it. She committed suicide instead of finishing her daughter off. If Irene wanted to kill Erza, the woman would be dead. Face it, Erza and Wendy lost to Irene. It was by the mercy of Irene's love that neither of them died.

This seems like its only taking the original series into account, as I recognize all the characters (I have only read a small portion of 100 year quest), so Erza should be number 2 at the lowest, and even then there is a better argument for her being stronger than the potential number 1 (acnologia), than the other way around. Like, they put Natsu at number 2, yet we literally watch Erza catch his and Gray's final killing attacks, while they were in their respective most powerful states, at the same time, while wearing her 100% offense armor. I don't really get why, but Fairy tail fans HEAVILY sleep on how ridiculously overpowered Erza is within the Fairy Tail universe.

IM sorry Brandish at 17? She could easily pop almost other character's heart like a grape with resizing magic, should be at least top 5. And having anyone other than Dimaria as #1 shows you either didn't watch the show or just had your eyes closed while doing so. And Zeref is not as strong as people think he is. And Jacob... don't even get me started on that guy's power level, definitely the most done-dirty character in FT. Also, Natsu doesn't even belong in top 30, he is not nearly as strong everyone thinks he is. Here's a more realistic top 10: 1. Dimaria 2. Jacob 3. Acnologia 4. Invel 5. Brandish 6. August 7. Irene 8. Zeref 9. Larcade 10. Grey Notice how all of these guys have extremely fast and effective ways of killing their opponent, something which people like Natsu or God Serena don't have. Also, Grey being higher than Gildarts is obvious, Gil's magic is just too slow to keep up with Grey's ice make.

But, what about the concept of power difference? Can their abilities work on an enemy beyond them? For Brandish's power to work, wouldn't her magic need to be inside of her target? Well, I doubt Brandish's magic can bypass the sheer immensity of Irene, August, and Zeref's magical power. (I'm reaching out in that regard. She might ambush them with enough motivation.) Take Brandish's words, for example, she stated that nobody in the Alvarez Empire could match Irene or August. That means that the abilities of Brandish and Dimaria are limited. This is a scale based on head-on fights. Brandish probably wouldn't be able to use her ability before she's ruthlessly beaten down by Irene, August, or Zeref. Dimaria's time-stop most likely isn't overpowered and can be dealt with by beings out of her league.

Dimaria as mentioned above got one shot by end intial, anyone that's super fast can bypass her stopped time ability. Zeref, is 8th on your list, let that sink in, brandish is way too high in this list she shouldn't even be in it
