THANK YOU for saying you like The Hobbit movies!! Many people expected The Hobbit to be this serious epic like LOTR, but it’s a bedtime story and I think they captured it so well. They also added in all the things that happened when Gandalf was like “Well I’ll see you later!” It was also fun to see Galadriel and Elrond again.

i LOVED seeing the og LOTR characters, and yes the fun vibes were everything I was looking for in the hobbit adaptation

I think the reason that most people (myself included) disliked the Hobbit movies WAS the fact that the movies tried to be too epic and on the same scale as LOTR. Plus, making it a trilogy was such an obvious cash grab and it showed in the quality of the final product.

I feel the same on Shatter Me, but you gave it more of a go than I did haha. You've also inspired me to continue with the Grishaverse and the Poppy War Trilogy - I loved both but they also were so slow at some points.

I totally agree with you on these violent delights. I’m currently reading the foul lady fortune series and there are a couple characters *cough cough* that I don’t really care about lol but with these infinite threads… it was just vibes haha although I’m intrigued ENOUGH to continue on unlike the shatter me series !!
