That Leg Rip fatality is just so uncharacteristic, but yet at the same time characteristic lol. Quan Chi is a sorcerer who usually uses magic more then his fighting abilities lore wise. That being said, to see him rip off a leg and beat someone with it is hilarious, maybe because he needs to get some aggression out for the Ls over the years 😂

Sure, it’s a bit goofy, (Mortal Kombat never really took itself too seriously,) but there are a surprising amount of fatalities and brutalities throughout the games that are relatively survivable injuries, especially in Mortal Kombat X. In fact, Jax canonically survived having his arms ripped off in the story mode to this exact game.

Was afraid with the variety of victims that were see Kratos. Mostly some of the fatals do get ruined by him being animated differently. Devoid of context, Shang Tsing’s Joker fatality is freaking weird. Some of these fatals like Smoke and Sindel really do feel samey and they really don’t utilize all of these characters’ skill sets. Ironically I think Quan Chi’s feels less strong by making the head explode. Just beating them senseless is enough of an impact as is Jax’s first one should have had a reverse order, ripping the arms then slapping the head. Perhaps even with their own arms for more impact

Jade's fatalities might suck but goddamnit that ain't her best design in the entire franchise. I don't understand why the later Mortal Kombat games decided to make the female characters press with more clothing well mainly the Ninja esk girls. They are basically kunoichi and kunoichi are trained to use their gender as a weapon there's supposed to be scantily-clad to distract their opponents and make them drop their guard. They are masters of deception. For some characters like Sonya putting more clothing on her is fine what four characters like Jade Kitana Mileena and Scarlett it's just fucking stupid.
