I will say kokichi vs the riddler becomes a LOT better if you're familiar with danganronpa. The riddlers second verse is one of the most one sided verbal SLAUGHTERS i've ever seen. That "Supreme" diss is a reference to kokichi being known as "the ultimate supreme leader" if I remember correctly and it's a play on how like a brand his personality and show are all surface level and have no real substance.

You should actually watch the Don’t hug me I’m scared TV series it’s really good. It also amps up the comedy to like the trillionth degree which is how it became one of if not my favorite show of all time.

I enjoyed this ranking a lot. There were plenty of things I personally disagreed with - I liked Power vs Nezuko and Jinx vs Junko quite a bit more, though that could be chalked up to me being more familiar with Chainsaw Man, Danganronpa, and Arcane. I also have Amelia Earhart vs D. B. Cooper and Kokichi vs The Riddler as my bottom 2, so it’s not just things I liked more. I understand your points completely though and agree with just as many things I think. We also have the same number 1, which is nice. Great video and I think Part 7 is already off to an interesting start.

I'm *really* surprised about your bottom two. We usually have pretty similar opinions based on your other ranking videos, but Denji vs Ash is top 10 of this season for me, and Power vs Nezuko is a top 5 all time battle for Freshy in my opinion. Edit: Even *more* surprised at your third to last; Junko vs Jinx is my favorite Freshy battle and maybe my favorite rap battle of all time. Edit 2: Also really surprised with your Kokichi vs Riddler ranking - that's another top 3 video from him in my opinion. Evidently, our tastes our not *nearly* as similar as I thought based on your other rankings.

I love Santa vs Satan unnecessarily much. My favourite line of the battle for each side is: Santa-Lucifer wordplay time(booth also pretty good) Satan-Tiny tim(referencing tiny tim from Christmas carol). I just like this battle so much.

I just think the way it’s delivered misses the point of the joke. I guess another example would be with the “ORANGE you glad I didn’t say banana?” knock knock joke. Imagine if somebody said it like “orange you GLAD I didn’t say banana?”. The wrong emphasis lessens the impact of the joke and might confuse some. That’s what bothers me with this one, it’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference in the effectiveness of the line.

I will not go over everything but here's my bottom and top 3 : Bottom 3 : - Denji VS Ash : for the same reasons you evoked in the video - Amelia Earhart VS D.B Cooper : The acting and delivery were not very engaging, good punches though - Paul Astreides VS Amleth : personal taste, but i always found this battle a bit off beat (pun intended) Top 3 : - DHMIS VS Truman : Best "breaking the fourth wall" rap battle ever made - Eggman VS Horner : Not the most complicated battle, but always a pleasure to listen to - Starlord VS Sparrow : need i say more ? Honorable Mention : - Nathan Drake VS Tintin for being the 100th battle with astonishing settings. - Jinx VS Junko for having the best Monokuma impression i've ever heard

It has been a while. I’m working on some stuff but I don’t have as many projects in the works at once as I did through most of 2023. That along with the fact that the battles just take a while to make is why I haven’t dropped in a while. I hope to have something out this month and I’m working on something with another person that could drop very very soon.

Huggy Wuggy vs. the Giant was legitimately an Amleth vs. Paul situation for me: both of Huggy's verses were really well-done, but then the Giant absolutely slaughters him in the final verse.

I agree with the middle placements (Rock vs Paper vs Scissors to Horner vs Eggman) but swap Denji vs Ash with Wicked witch vs Queen of Hearts and put Riddle vs Kokichi at 3 instead of Bunyan vs Appleseed

DHMIS is the best tv show of all time imo and the battle did justice. I have never seen Truman Show but I know the main premise so the matchup is perfect. My only nitpick is I feel it would've been more appropriate for Yellow Guy to go up against Truman but that's just an opinion, an incorrect opinion!
