As someone who came into Fortnite from Splatoon, I can tell you that the boom Billy is best used not as a standalone weapon, but as a pressure tool. Throw them down mid firefight and it’s another thing the opponent will have to deal with on top of you firing at them. That leaves them with incoming fire from two different angles. If the Billy bomb doesn’t get them, the player will, and if the player doesn’t get them, the bomb will. If nothing else, it wrecks any builds or structures nearby and it makes them retreat.

the hammer is mid tbh, wood stake is more focused on precision (which is good, especially against the hover jets or any mobility item) and high damage. the hammer is just another generic pump reskin.

I like the new chainsaw and it would likely be great in the Horde Rush LTM. The mythic kinetic blade is the best crowd control weapon since it gives health back for each hit instead of on elimination like the sideways scythe does. 3:50 In case you didn’t already know, The Inkquisitor’s Suppressed SMG has literally the same stats as the legendary rarity suppressed SMG. The only other case where this happens is the exotic and legendary Storm Scout Sniper.

I played a solo reload ranked yesterday and got a purple wood stake, made it to endgame and it was a 1v1v2. The other solo rushed me and i thought i was cooked but then i headshot him for 170 damage killing him instantly lol (It was SO satisfying but I still lost to the duo)

I'd rather have the Inquisitor SMG than the Wood Stake Shotgun, 2 Boom Billys, or even a Pumpkin Launcher, just because it's a bit more versatile than those items. I am in the (probably small) group of people who like the Suppressed SMG, so a getting a mythic version is very nice. I don't think it's better than the mobility stuff, or even the pumpkin launcher (which I said I would take it over), but it's good.

the candy should honestly be wayyyy higher, the stuff like zero point pretzel or hop drop is just way to useful to be that low, sure they arent that good but paired with other items it can make traversing far distances just that little faster, hop drop and shockwaves are great, they also stop fall damage even on their own edit: sideways scythe actually gives siphon on elim and the slam attack can be really good too (not only players btw, it works on zombies and animals too,basically anything you kill)

@@aunteggmaniac If you have good aim, an enemy is dead in one or two shots with the Woodstake. It has a fast fire rate (not as fast as the Gatekeeper's fire rate though), and it does 177 to the head max, while the Gatekeeper only does 160 to the head.

For the woodstake, I actually dont think it's that hard to use. It has low to no bloom, and as far as i know, is one of the only shotguns that both shoots fast and hits over 100 damage with close-up body shots. Im by no means good at the game at all, so i would think it's pretty low effort.

Ngl chainsaw is number one in builds. It has the mobility with better stamina than the others, it does 75 damage and phases through builds. I personally would rank it higher than the katana and broom, but I can see why you didn't.
