So it’s canon that Sora, Donald, and Goofy can understand Greek? I mean, they clearly couldn’t understand Gorilla in Deep Jungle, or a Japanese word like “shugyo” in San Fransokyo. Isn’t everyone technically speaking Japanese since this is a Japanese game made by a Japanese company, but wait… Disney is an American Company so you’d think that Donald and Goofy naturally speak English… Hrm. I guess KH takes place in the Cyberpunk extended universe, where everyone can speak whatever they want and still understand each other unless the plot demands that certain information be undecipherable.

I always assumed that it was part of Donald's magic or something that let them understand whatever language everyone was speaking. I assume they weren't speaking English or Japanese in Land of Dragons or La Cite des Cloches. "Shugyo" was a single phrase used by English-speaking people, and it could be argued that there's no good translation that's accurate to everything that "shugyo" encompasses, so I can see how that happened. My personal headcanon is that SDG are American but Japanophiles and just really like the culture lmao

The Phantom had such a mystique to it. As a kid I only knew about it from reading the game guide in a bookstore. It being a secret boss (and finding out the game HAD secret bosses) was eerie in a way, and made the phantom a lot spookier. Plus it just deletes your party members, it felt like the only thing that could truly KILL your squad, really scary to an 8 year old. Easy S tier for me.

The Guard Armor in Days actually feels more unique, and is actually somewhat of a threat. It can also regrow it's limbs, which regenerates it's core HP. Plus, the animation when it drops it's head is fun.

I always thought that the guard armor that you fight in the coliseum was supposed to be a normal guard armor but during the day. Like the one in traverse town was only purple because it was night time there. I thought since they didn't have the tech for better lighting at the time they would just give a different texture set to one of them to get the point across. Kinda like how the heartless have a unique texture set for Halloween town and how heartless that normally only show up in Halloween town but are in the coliseum have a new non Halloween town texture set.

I've always wanted to see a heartless tier list, is an enemy that is very underrated in my opinion with all they bring Also your format and style is very great and something that funny enough I've always wanted to see in a video, so propa to you for that As for the tier, while it's very fair and all, my love for the soldier makes me want to be higher on the tier; yeah it's not as iconic as the shadow, but is the one that shows us the emblem heartless all together, making it an important piece in heartless history

This guy's got good taste. I am gonna fight him on the Carrier Ghost though. Due to Days having very janky aerial combat, you can just... chase it into the air by mashing A. Even during the main story if you have the right weapon equipped. If it gets too high up, it'll disappear and reappear back on the ground around the same time Roxas is about to land anyway. It is a biiiitch to try and nail with magic though. In general fighting Ghosts just sucks in Days since they teleport around _way_ more in that game than anywhere else in the series. So it's still F tier, just not FF. Shout outs to correctly placing Battleship in S tier though. Dude is slept on so much. I absolutely adore everything about it. The multiple parts, the fashion of the "captain" at the helm of the ship, the way it forces you to engage with Captain Hook, and how in the few colosseum matches it shows up in the thing will fly way up in the air and just start carpet bombing the stage, forcing you to choose whether to deal with the weaker heartless first so it will come down or immediately try to take out _at least_ the cannons. It's the perfect miniboss heartless. God I wish it would come back with even more janky bullshit. I'd also bring up the Fat Bandit a tier. Not only because it has a neat interaction where you can stun it by deflecting it's fireballs back at it, which I think nets some tech points if memory serves me right, but also because because I feel like putting it next to any of the armors is giving that subfamily too much credit. I do agree that one who's based around inflicting Silence is a nice way to force the player to pay attention, since the only quick way to knock them over is with magic, but also that specific armor will mostly show up in missions where you have an ally. And holy shit I hate missions where you have an ally in Days. They pretty consistently get in the way by either knocking enemies out of your attack range, shoving you away from them, or pissing off whatever they're looking at so it goes off to do it's own thing. And boy howdy am I going to have a _rant_ about that when we get to the color coded music bells. Final note about Days is I love the Deserter missions. I'm having fun figuring out how to best kill them off without getting a dozen boots shoved up my ass. It's super fun trying to optimize around how goofy they are. Especially since most attacks that hit a pretty wide radius have bad end lag, which means the Deserter can just... leave mid combo. Getting some luck so far with Thundara and Firaga, though. Also, did not know the Chimera was drawn that early in development. That's neat. The more you know~

I'm surprised Phantom is S-tier. The design is cool and the concept of how you're meant to fight it is a neat concept, but the actual fight itself is such a slog that I would've personally bumped it down to B. Will you do rankings for the other KH enemies? Nobodies, Unversed, and Dream Eaters? I imagine there's not enough of them to warrant individual videos (aside from maybe Dream Eaters), so you could probably merge them all into one video.

If I remember correctly those heartless or most of all the heartless we see in KHUX are projections from the Book of Prophecies so everyone could collect Lux/Light from the "future." And you get that Light/Lux from other worlds which are projections of the future also. But I forget the plot twist of that as I need to rewatch all of UX again. I think it was that everyone was actually collecting Daybreak Towns light instead this causing something. Again it has been a while on the details. And I could be misremembering the general details too.

What mixture of common heartless would you use as a custom party member thats slightly weaker than a keyblade warrior yet unique and powerful enough on its own using its unique abilities and moves to make it its own character? You can use only common kingdom hearts enemies no bosses. You're allowed to set your own restrictions to make it fun and arrange the abilities to allow your character to flourish in creative and satisfactory ways. Do this with nobodies too, and make your own heartless nobody chimera oc and see what their somebodies piwes might be!!

To me Sneak Army is memorable for one thing and one thing only I Dont know if it is the same in other versions but when they finally released KH Final Mix in the west back in 2013, in the italian localisation it is called.... Fullmetalgecko, like the movie Full Metal Jacket, if they went with this name pun even in other localisations I dont know, but if they did... I am seriously asking who the heck decided to call it Sneak Army in english, that' s lame :v

@@Aid1043 It really is, usually (not all of them) the Heartless in KH 1 were left with their original english name (Shadows, Darkside, Darkballs, Phantom, Powerwild and all that) or it was a 1 to 1 translation of their english name (Soldato for the Soldier heartless for example, pirata for pirate, pretty simple stuff), yet for this guy they went for a pun ( oh and for the original Stealth Sneak they didn' t go with a pun, but it is called Stegogecko... yes Stegosaurus and gecko) I Dont know why they went for that, but I am certanly not gonna complain about it XD

actually no... the Air Soldier and the Final World's Darkside too reuse names. The original Air Soldier and the gladiator Air Soldier are design wise COMPLETLY different, and for me make zero sense to consider them the same... yhea, ok, they have nearly identical attack pattern but... a lot of Heartless of the same family do the same... and despite the creation of the gladiator Air Soldier, they still used the original Air Soldier in later games, like Dark Road and Melody of Memories. And you cannot even argue "they are like this because they appear only in the Olympis" since THEY ACTUALLY APPEAR IN OTHER WORLDS TOO, like the Keyblade Graveyard and, in ML, in Scala ad Caelum. for the Darkside, I could get why people tought was the same... but... then ReMind put the original Darkside with his own Gummiphone page then the Final World one... so, yhea, they are different. Same pattern of attack, yhea, but that apply to ALL Darkside. so no, the two Trick Ghosts aren't the only ones with this problem. also, Shadows appear in Atlantica, but only in Re: Chain of Memories with the card "Botomless Darkness", yhea, they don't appear in any other way, but still exist a way to encounter them in the world. But you forgot Quadratum, that is playble during the Yozora boss fight, so is still 13 (or 7) worlds.

Good catch on Atlantica, though; even though the arena changes to a dark room instead of the normal world background, it didn't occur to me that it's still technically on the Atlantica floor.

​@@Aid1043 forms and variants in the journals are showed changing the models, like the Jellyshade and the Glidewinder, and for Air Soldier, we never get variants so widly different, can occuor Heartless having special aestichic in some worlds, Bolt Towers for exemple are completly black with chinese-like symbols, and is completly exclusive to the Land of Dragons, but is just a change color. Air Soldier change completly different outfit and even the body is different since one have bat-like wings, and the other one feather wings.
