Saw this while watching some tekken 8 costumes, Tekken 4 Heihachi fundoshi was actually neat in a way. Since its like saying while Kazuya and Jin got devil transformation he just needs a fundoshi to take you down.

Interesting fun fact the PS2 version of SoulCalibur 2 was originally going to have Cloud instead of the old guy here I’m guessing due to copyright issues which seems to be a common trend with Square I think.

As cool as Cloud would have been, I’m glad the deal fell through, because Heihachi is the reason I originally got into Soulcalibur. Funnily enough, I ended up liking it even more than Tekken!

I may be biased since it’s the first Tekken I played, but it does have excellent designs.

@@Silvershire Technically, 3rd Tekken was also my first because it was present on Demo One disk attached to my PSX back in the day, but first game in the series I fully played through was Tekken 2. I'm thankful it wasn't Tekken 1, because King's moving tongue on character select screen is a nightmare fuel somewhat. xD

We're definitely forgetting his Tekken 5 ending outfit. It was so amazing, it was able to be customizable in Tekken 6 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

So, I think the Tekken wiki screwed up on the SFxT description. There IS an official bio for that costume. Quoting from the Xbox 360 Marketplace; "Heihachi has personally crafted this costume in preparation for his own special festival."

I skipped them in my Kazuya video since there were so many other costumes to discuss, and in every subsequent Tekken episode I've just followed that precedent.

well, heihachi is out in few weeks ago as 3rd DLC characters from tekken 8's season 1. so, what are u thoughts on all tekken 8's costumes for heihachi and what's ur ranking?

I like them! His 1P is basically just a more detailed version of his classic gi, and the tiger-themed armor of his 2P is neat. They’re probably both in the 8/10 range.
