Honestly, I can't say that despicable me is bad. The movie has a simple yet exciting and fun plot, the characters are all fairly likable, with only a couple exceptions, the bond between Gru and the girls feels genuine, their emotional beats have actual weight to them, and the climax genuinely has stakes. Yeah, its not perfect, but its still pretty good and a lot of fun.

I remembered walking in the living room, about to watch it with my family, and then the next memory of the movie was the credits. Sing was one of my favourite illumination films, and thats coming from someone who isnt really into films that involve a lot of singing. The whole premise of the film is a singing competition, however, its much more than just a competition to the characters. Johnny is by far my favourite of the characters from the film. And the second film is a rare example of a sequel that is also as good as the first one. I genuinely loved the performances in the second film, mostly johnny and ashely/calloway. Thats my opinion anyway

It’s kind of more of a streaming movie and I honestly am disappointed because I was extremely excited that the movie could’ve had more emotional/exciting moments in the movie. But of course the writers played it safe. Here’s to hoping that if they make a Secret Life of Pets 3, they would actually take risks and make it geared more towards adults than kids and have more action, emotional moments, and violence (obviously it doesn’t have to be R-rated).

Blue Sky Studios would be interesting to break down, since they were similar to Illumination in more ways than intentionally realized (mascot from their flagship franchise, milking their said flagship franchise to death, at least 1 Dr. Suess animated adaption, at least 1 other adaption of existing media, and a overall forgettable film library), hell if anything Blue Sky was even more forgettable since at least the people that shit on Illumination are common enough to the point that it's kinda vocal, especially towards the upcoming Mario Movie. I didn't hear too much fuss about besides their Ice Age sequels (after 3 at earliest), hell Illumination even has more memes than Blue Sky does.

Watching Hop again, I have one question; how is the chicken the villain? The dude works day in and day out for the Easter bunny, and clearly deserves the job more than the spoiled brat bunny who wants nothing to do with the business. The only reason I even see him become evil is because of his treatment from the Easter bunny. I think the movie even realized this in the end when the human character becomes the easter furry for no real reason at all.

The final performance songs are literally the best part of "Sing". The subplots add literally nothing to the main plot and character development is just too... rushed. "Sing" wasn't that good, but yes, it is still enjoyable if you choose to enjoy it.

It’s kind of more of a streaming movie and I honestly am disappointed because I was extremely excited that the movie could’ve had more emotional/exciting moments in the movie. But of course the writers played it safe. Here’s to hoping that if they make a Secret Life of Pets 3, they would actually take risks and make it geared more towards adults than kids and have more action, emotional moments, and violence (obviously it doesn’t have to be R-rated).

You don't really need to speculate once you start a relationship with God. Can't get a response from God? Fasting can help increase your perception and prayer can help initiate events. God will ignore you if your prayer does not align with His purpose (James 4:3) or if you are approaching Him when "unclean" (Isaiah 1:15, Isaiah 59:2, Micah 3:4). Stop eating food sacrificed to idols (McDonald's, Wendy's etc) stop glorifying yourself on social media or making other images of yourself (Second Commandment), stop gossiping about other people, stop watching obscene content etc. Have a blessed day!

Despecible Me 2 was also really good and well thought out. I wasn’t a huge fan of the secret life of pets (even when I was around 10 when I first watched it). I’ve never watched the sequel of the pets movie. Both Sings were alright. The Lorax was my childhood and I enjoyed going back to it. Despicable Me 3 wasn’t very good, but I actually enjoyed the Minions tbh. Minions Rise of Gru was alright, but people give it way to much credit. I mean come on! The plot was mid and the villains were the worst thing on the planet. I guess the nostalgia characters were cool to see.
