I think the meaning about the insane maps is its mostly about u getting to practice about different things for crazy maps. Like: Lost Desert teaches you how to team up and group together and split up for buttons Abandoned Facility teaches you how to swim like a pro Sinking Ship teaches you how to do a tower Dark Sci Facility teaches you how to make longjumps Familiar Ruins teaches you to get a fast pace Beneath the ruins teaches you how to do parkour in multiple rooms Gloomy Manor teaches you not to be lazy Fallen teaches you how to make really fast jumps Satomi Springs does teach about fast pacing and longjumps, but teaches you how to catch up Magmatic Mines shows you how a Crazy map might look like, that's why it's really easy to beat it

I see 1 thing wrong with Magmatic Mines. When I pressed the button, like the 2nd to last at the swimming section, I GLITCHED OUT OF THE MAP AND WAS SOO UPSET!! Its probably not the creators fault(Accident happen and were human) But that one bug annoyed me soo much that I just raged. But I LOVE MAGMATIC MINES! SO FUN AND COOL!

It is the buggy anti cheat on the map in the swimming section, it once allowed me to accidentally skip the second to last button by teleporting me to the second to last room

Bro I actually agree with you on Fallen, when Fallen comes up people just go "Ew Fallen" while I say that Fallen is an actual good map and if Fallen (Classic) didn't exist, people would have better opinions about Fallen

Sinking ship is my favourite map in all the game and I think it is the best insane, it feels more insane than magmatic mines and all the other insane maps, they should remake it into a crazy map like "sinking boat" magmatic mine is good except for the music, it makes it feel like a easy or normal map

@@sus_noob428 not to me. The OST for fallen is boring AF and not fun. I don't find this map fun at all. The map kinda looks ugly. But Abandoned isn't good either, But the OST is a banger and fits the map. I kinda like the color scheme. But this is MY PERSONAL OPINION!

My rankings: TOP 3 3rd: Dark sci Facility I dont know where to put it. DSF has truely been the face of FE2 for quite a while now, being the hardest map in FE2 before the crazies came out. Its difficulty is spread out not evenly but in a way that is fun. The first tower part gets your heartbeat up, then the core of the facility calms down a bit. The map is overall well made with sync in the walls, screen shake and relying on teammates. (Anyone else remember raging on that cursed wedge jump?) 2nd: Magmatic Mines I love Magmatic mines overall. Its well made, its difficulty is well balanced throughout the map but the main issue is that there are SO many shortcuts that kind of hinders the map's difficulty. Dont get me wrong, its still decently hard, but with all these shortcuts across the map, it doesnt feel like an insane anymore. Just your average really hard map. However, the amount of effort that goes into creating the map is insane. I can sense the amount of hardwork put into MM. The OST also rocks. 1st: Satomi Springs I actually adore Satomi for many reasons. The Colour scheme imo is by far my favourite out of all the FE2 Insane Maps. The difficulty is spread out evenly and the OST is also epic - one of the best in the game imo. There is a lot of things i can talk about Satomi that makes it the top. The design is super well made, fast lava, intense, really the model of what all Insane maps should be. But thats just my opinion. I wont argue if you have a different one but this is my thoughts on the best Insane maps.

To be honest the most favorite map I ever played is Dark-Sci Facility. The jumps make a challenge course through “Insane” difficulty. It fits the difficulty well. It is easy to memorize when you’re good the long jump. It’s just sideways camera and that’s it. The music fits in as well.

(Personal opinion) #1 Satomi Springs 🔛🔝 -This map is very fun, not overdecorated but still good in terms of design and gameplay, I also like the creator of this map managed to make the gameplay difficult and intense without unbalanced gameplay and difficulty spikes. Most balanced map ive seen so far. #2 Magmatic Mines -The decoration of this map is godtier! Forget to mention that the gameplay literaly includes all the things that an insane map should have (climbing section, lava, swimming part) without being too difficult. Ill never get sick of this map even tho its always voted because its just so fun to play. #3 Sinking ship -yeah the classic, i like the stressful gameplay of this map, it always evokes fear and the feeling of escaping the whole ship as quick as possible. And the last deck, oh my god, it lit looks like a ship with those boxes falling. (Ty for reading)

I'm not really that passionate about the Insanes, but I'll rank 'em anyways. No where near as much detail, though. 10th: Dark Sci Facility Awful gameplay, boring as hell OST, played a million damn times. I refuse to play this anymore. 3 WAY TIE FOR 9TH: AF, LD and GM All three of these maps suffer from the same issue - boring, not fun to replay, and not accounting for the speed people will beat these maps. Not much to say. 6th: Beneath the Ruins This map doesn't feel like a flood escape map. It doesn't feel like you're escaping a flood. It's cramped, it's constantly picked to the point where it's so repetitive, and the theming is the only good part really. I would like this more if it wasn't picked so often, probably. 2 WAY TIE FOR 5TH: Sinking Ship and Fallen I like both of these maps. I don't really want to go in detail because they all have the same issues/positives. Fun to replay, good OSTS, and good theming. 3rd: Familiar Ruins FR does what BTR tried but so much better. I have the same gripes regarding it not feeling FE2-esque, but I think it benefits from the over all better OST and more fun gameplay. 2nd: Magmatic Mines Fun, banger OST, great theming - what's there not to love? Oh, that's right, the MILLION DAMN SHORTCUTS. This map would be even better (not #1 though!) if they were patched. It barely feels like an Insane at this point. 1st: Satomi Springs I have a 2.5k character review on why this map is amazing. I'll pull a couple lines from it that sums it up well: "Satomi Spring's OST has always been a personal favourite. It's exhilirating, which is perfect for a map that is the one of, if not the hardest, Insane maps." "Satomi springs is SUCH a fun map. I've played it so many times and it's STILL as fun as when I first beat it (fun fact: this was the first map I beat when I came back after inactivity, and I first tried it (although I got carried...)!) Since then, I've genuinely loved playing this map without really any times that I felt it's gotten stale." "The gameplay is honestly REALLY good. It's pretty varied not gonna lie, and it feels like we're really traversing through this area.". So yeah. Satomi Springs on top.

Something with Magmatic Mines. I usually play this game on graphics one with gives me over 120 FPS. On Magmatic Mines, the big room part with the boxes in the lava is bugged. The platforms are either floating or sunken down.

My Personal Rankings: 1st - BTR: Good, Consistent Difficulty, Great Gameplay, Great Music, Great button placement, great detail, overall a great Insane map. 2nd - SSprings: Fun map overall, not much I can really say besides that it's really, really good (Like every map in the top 3.) 3rd - SShip: I'll be honest, I used to hate this map... a lot. But after playing more FE2, It's really grown on me, the map is fun, doesn't overstay it's welcome & you don't get screwed over by Exploding Buttons. Great Map, just that the others above it are better 4th - LD: I LOVE LD, it's at least in my top 15, if not my top 10 favorite maps in FE2 and for good reason, it fits the role of a mid-insane perfectly, having jumps that are difficult, but not TOO difficult, pacing is really good, and for an older FE2 map, it still holds up REALLY well! But c'mon, the Top 3 will almost always be the Top 3 in my eyes (unless CrazyBlox would add Amphibious Billow but that ain't happening :( ) 5th - Fallen: I love this map's glow-up, going from 2nd easiest hard (in contention for easiest) to a Mid-Insane is no small feat for a map, and the revamp really went all in, while I like the look of the old Fallen more, giving Fallen a similar look to Marred Dreams is really nice, as it really gives the map more of a connection to MD (which when the maps OST is literally just MD backwards makes a lot more sense) I just really liked how the map made your character black & white, which was something only that map did specifically. But those pillars man... those pillars are so annoying aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa 6th - MM: I'll be honest, I dislike this map, not to a large amount (that amount of hate goes to the AVM hate fund because god I hate how it always gets picked when it's an option for Crazies) but still, the only really "difficult" section of this map is the tower, which even then, isn't that hard. After that the difficulty falls off big time and the OST isn't that good IMO as well. Still, better than a few other maps in FE2 7th - DSFacility: I'm sure this may be a surprise to some people, but DSFI (Abbreviated version of "DSF [INSANE]") is a map that I don't really dislike, it's just that it's difficulty is inconsistent, with the only reason it has the "hardest insane" status is because of the first tower, the 2nd is soooo much easier and it's not even close. Though the 1st tower isn't bad... except for... *THE JUMP* 8th - GM: Honestly, this map needs a buff. That's all I can really say here. 9th - FR: Fun insane map, though ridiculously easy for an insane map 10th - AF: this map is a literal JOKE, to the point where the hardest hard in the game is harder than this map.

I mostly agree with this but I would swap around fallen and sinking ship. I feel like sinking ship is great however the one flaw is the beginning, its fine for singleplayer but its just super hard in multiplayer. If you have a server with lazy people, everyone will just die at the beginning.

Here's My Tier List: 10. Abandoned Facility: Its mid. It's pretty boring and has trash replayability. Details are generic. OST is the only great thing about this map imo. 9. Fallen: another mid map. It is less boring imo, but its a pain to play sometimes. The OST is alright, and the Details are good but messy. 8. Familiar Ruins: As the easiest Insane, this feels less of one imo. As it is extremely unbalanced as soling it is a intense beat but to multiplayer its a breeze. The refrences to Fe1 is great and I like the map's OST a lot. Falls short in gameplay that's all. 7. Gloomy Manor: The map is pretty good and its quite fun to play both soloing and in multiplayer. The gameplay takes a huge dip after the first outside section but the design and OST remains constant and great. 6. Lost Desert: This is easily a great and underrated map, but I have to put it here. I think the map is great. It is quite fun to play through but yet it has a few parts where its pretty ok. The Design is great and looks solid. The OST ain't perfect but its very overlooked. Great for an insane map. 5. Dark-Sci facility: This map is OVERRATED!!! It has good gameplay, but like its such a cheese. The design is generic and boring for the first half but in the second half it's amazing and great. The OST is a repeat but iconic, and intensifies the more you hear it. 4. Beneath The Ruins: This map is great. Such a bop to play, but there are some flaws in terms of mainly fe2 physics and easy skips to do. Besides that the Design is great referencing more areas to Fe1 and the OST is very fitting. 3. Magmatic Mines: Best Easy Insane imo. The details is what really stands out to the map and it looks fire!! The gameplay is great but the overall amount of shortcuts is ridiculous. The OST is a bop! 2. Satomi Springs: I have seen the comments and yes this map is AMAZING!! I love a lot about this map! Gameplay is creative and nice, Design is unique and refreshing, the OST is fitting and such a bop to listen to. 1. Sinking Ship: no doubt the best insane map. It's the only insane map to tell a story behind it while having perfect gameplay and a perfect OST. The design is amazing and still holds to this day!

As I mentioned in the crazy vid I consider sinking ship to be the best map in the game but tbh the top 4 are pretty interchangeable. Also I personally would put fallen above DSF as fallen is a lot more varied in gameplay and is overall more consistent quality wise, whereas DSF has a mediocre opening half and an excellent second half, as well as the fist half being one of the ugliest sections in the game visually

My honest tier list: 10. Gloomy manor. It doesn't feel intensely tbh 9. Abonded facility. It's underdecorated in my opinion, so the gameplay underwater is dry. First room is rlly good, but the rest isn't. 8. Fallen, when it released it I really liked it. Atmosphere is good, but what I don't like about the map is a lot of shortcuts. It makes almost everyone get to the zipline and no one will get the button. Also the soundtrack fits the map, but it is just a reversed version of an east map I forgot (smth like dreams) And the name itself doesn't fit the map anymore, since in the classic one the platforms disappeared and the player fell. Which fits the name. 7. Lost desert, it does everything good! The ost actually feels like a desert, but it's too short in my opinion. It would be fun if the exit would be an elevator. You should've pressed a button and floor falls. And then you see entrance of Forgotten tombs or Sandswept Ruins. 6. Dark SCI Facility. In my opinion it's overrated. If the map is hard it doesn't make it good. The ost really fits the map and walls in second part. But there's better insane maps so it's 6. 5. Familiar ruins. It is so good map which gives nostalgia about the FE classic! A lot of people even started to try find lore in it! The fact it's connected with BTR is awesome! But the same problem as DSF. There's better maps. 4. Sinking ship. It's actually really awesome map, it feel really intensely. The fact that the ship is actually sinking, not flooding really fits the map! 3. Beneath The Ruins. It's connected with FR which makes it already atmospheric and nostalgic. We are seeing parts of FE Classic we never saw and the seen ones too! Locked guide at the exit seems hopeless. There's nothing he can do about being trapped here forever. But community thought he used the flood sword to dig to the surface! It makes a lot of think that there's lore! In a fricking parkour with rising water! 2. Satomi springs. Many was confused why the water insta kills you. But when AVM released owner of these maps said they are connected! This is why the water starts to boil. The ost rlly fits the map and feels like a crazy map! 1. Magmatic mines. IT'S SO AWESOME MAP! We can see that it has a tower which fits the map! Unlike most of crazy maps trying to put a tower in everytime. It's not over detailed and we can see atmosphere of an actual mine! This map actually deserves top 1 :D

⁠@@PAHDOM_CHELcuz I have literally beaten it for the most of the time and it doesn’t even have much depth to it and it’s too easy it doesn’t feel anything, fallen is so much better and more depth which familiar ruins doesn’t have I mean really if you revisited to the old flood escape game you would see everything constructed well so don’t get too much nostalgia on it even if it is ruined, just focus on the new thing already

Not really, lost woods is actually more fun than dsf if you are playing in multiplayer because of the amount of shortcuts you can do maybe not solo because the pacing is really fun in dsf but mostly we do multiplayer

If you think your opinion about dark sci is controversial, my top 5 hated maps are Virulent junkyard, summit, lost woods, dark sci and BTR Seriously. I hate BTR, whenever it comes up I just server hop same with dark sci
