As a Caustic main, I can confirm that pulling off a caustic trap in bunker is one of funnest things to do in Apex. It doesn't work half the time, but forcing the enemy's teammate to watch as you finish them is amazing.

Having the rampart walls backfire on you is more to do with how you are using the walls than the character itself, just the same as bang / cat / horizon etc

I love Maggie and Fuse for the same reason, forcing teams out of cover. I use Fuse more because I don’t get a lot of of Maggie’s passive since I usually only use shotguns early game. I like to use Fuses ult to cut off teams from rotating or as a distraction to revive a tm8.

Pathfinder used to be my favorite character because of how fun he is but sense I’ve climbed the ladder gotten to fight better opponents I realized how significant his hit box is I mean I was getting knocked behind walls I wouldn’t be knocked with a legend like catalyst to give a hit box that isn’t that big but not the smallest

@@MangosInTrees that’s the biggest downside of path at the moment his kit is well rounded and in the correct players he can be an extremely good legend but his hitbox holds him back in most scenarios

Sucks so much because it used to be broken the other way. He was impossible to hit in seasons 0-3, you could just dance around longbow shots lmfao

You seem to still rank some of them based on viability and not actual fun. You keep mentioning meta, overall viability, what they bring to the team etc, Like with Loba you barely mention her teleportation, and you don't even talk about her passive, which lets you get more personalized loot (hop ups, etc) and tells you which buildings/chests are even worth going for. She makes map traversal and looting actually fun, and her bracelet is a fast way of entering and exiting encounters. I agree with most of your rankings, but in some cases it just feels like objective ranking and not fun-based.

As someone who switched to being a Pathy main maybe a year ago, I can confirm he is easily the most fun legend to play as… or at least he is until you realize how much more you might get knocked cuz he got that Lizzo hit box

I like lifeline because it feels good to clutch the team off the ground. I don't know what people expect qeueing up with me but when i pull off a double res and I'm already great at the game without abilities gunfights/movement etc it feels good hearing my team mates' reactions.

@@vicjctanuki7344 I think the tactical and the tactical voicelines were probably the main reasons (I have over 4.2k silences and there was a point in time when I was just farming them 🤣), but I feel like the legend difficulty was also higher then which made it more satisfying to play rev well. Also when I started playing, rev was the 1st legend I unlocked and I've always played rev so maybe it's also the nostalgia from those days idk

I would definitely agree that Caustic is the funnest controller legend, the other's abilities just aren't designed in a way to make them that fun. So, Caustic always stood out to me as the controller legend to play if you just want to have fun.

Bro valk is so fun to play, if your trying to frag out, hoping around w the vtol jets is OP AF, u can instantly take height, or escape a bad fight pretty easily, and unless the other team has an octane they can’t run you down if ure running away as the last alive, also her tactical can be clutch if used right though I will admit it’s underwhelming at times
