Ranking EVERY Legendary Pokémon Theme (Tier list)

It's FINALLY time for another tier list! In this one, I rank every single legendary Pokémon theme all the way through the first Scarlet and Violet DLC! I mention the themes from the Indigo Disk DLC but since this was recorded before I finished that DLC I couldn't rank the few themes from that one and the epilogue (though I do put my opinions of them briefly in the video towards the end). This video took a ton of time to put together so I hope you enjoy my analysis of each theme and the (hopefully decent) pacing I tried to give this video!

Hey guys! Since I'm still getting comments about this, I wanted to clarify a key factor I used when ranking these: removing the in-game context around each theme. If I were to have considered how well each theme was used in the context of all the moments they were used throughout the games, these rankings would obviously look a lot different! For example, the Arceus themes would end up ranking a lot higher, since those moments in-game are usually pretty crazy. However, I didn't want this list to end up being one where I rank how much I like each legendary Pokémon itself/how much I like the games they are in. Rather, I wanted to just focus on the isolated music to rank these against each other as fairly as possible. If you disagree with this approach that's fine, at the end of the day this video and all the others like it on my channel are just meant for fun and entertainment purposes. I am not the end-all-be-all of Pokémon music opinions, so please know these videos shouldn't be taken too seriously. I can understand that. For me it's impossible to separate a theme from that context because it immediately evokes those memories and I can't exactly stop it. It makes the PLA version of the generic legendary theme more memorable because that "where's the payoff?" feeling you mentioned is rewarded with the INCREDIBLE remix of Giratina's theme.

@ I hear you on that, separating the context is never easy for me but I kinda have to if I want to try and fully focus on just the music itself. That giratina theme does go hard though, if nothing else I do adore how unique the PLA themes all sound.

Honestly, the crunchy dogs are even better in the context of Crystal when you find them. You see the screen flash and for a split second expect to hear the standard encounter tune for the umpteenth time, but that first note catches you by surprise and kicks you in the teeth. The Arceus theme includes instruments that cannot be conceived by mortal ears.

Yeah I ranked the crunchy dogs lower solely to appease the zoomers who do not understand the depth and weight of the theme, honestly just had to submit to their will. Honestly a real banger though, glad you appreciate crunchy themes. Also yeah the arceus (arse-ee-us) theme is hard for our mortal ears to comprehend due to extreme skill issues on our parts. One thing that kinda gets lost in this video is something in the themes for Reshiram and Zekrom, there are 3 versions of that theme, with the changes being extremely subtle, there's Kyurem's theme, which you heard, there's Reshiram's theme, which has the sounds of fire as background elements to the song, and Zekrom who has sounds of electricity in the theme of its battle, it is extremely subtle though and doesn't really change the theme, just gives a bit of extra fluff to differentiate them a bit.

It sure if you played PLA, but for the LA version of Giratina’s theme, it’s more like you just have to play it and get to that part. The sheer terror and moment just made that theme terrifying

Yeah the moment in the game is really great, I love PLA to death. I tried to remove the songs from the spots they’re used in game for the most part, just so I could make the main focus the music itself. Most legends arceus themes would get significant boosts if I took usage context heavily into account haha

Finally somebody who likes the Phase 1 Eternatus theme! It's overhated imo, I love the alien feeling it gives off, like it's coming from a Pokemon who doesnt come from Earth (or whatever planet Pokemon resides in). I agree it sometimes tries to do too much, but it is a good theme for who it represents

Yeah I agree! I think the eternatus phase 1 theme should get a little more attention than it does, I like how different it is and, most importantly, how intimidating it is! Was pleasantly surprised by that one, I hardly remembered it from my Sword playthrough years ago haha

The funny thing is I absolutely adore the mixing of Gen 6 and Gen 7 songs. I love for my music to feel like it wraps around me and envelopes me. But most music outside of Gen 6 and Gen 7 and especially all switch game music feel a bit distant to me. But hey, we all have our own likes and dislikes

I think that’s totally fair! That’s the beauty of music; one piece of music may not resonate the same between two people and that variation gives us the wide plethora of music we see today. I actually think a lot of Gen 6 and 7 music is great, it’s mostly the drum usage that will drive me crazy more often than not. Even so, sun and moon have some bangers (vast poni canyon is so good), and Gen 6 has some really fun ideas that you get a glimpse of with the legendary theme. If there’s one thing that consistently delivers each new generation, it’s gotta be the soundtrack.

I've found it kinda depends on which song it is because some still sound cluttered even without headphones on, but there have been a few in the 3D era that not having headphones on does help it feel less repetitive. I think physically playing the game while listening to the themes can also help with that because then your brain has other things to focus on too hahaha

Obviously its your opinion but being "samey" I just disagree with. The tempo changes, having different motifs that stay in the background before becoming the main melody and fading back, and at the very least the sounds of the piano breaking and playing some funky chords. The number of times a Regi _Struggled _*_itself to DEATH_* has made me intimately familiar with the Regi theme. It is also why I always endeavor to catch Regice in a Dive Ball because after my 8th reset on it Struggling itself to death in Sap version as a kid I started the battle by tossing a meme ball with 0 expectation of even getting a single shake. Caught it first turn in a Dive Ball.

I fully agree with all of your decisions at the exception of two. First, the DPPt Dialga/Palkia song has always been one of my favorites and I feel like it is underrated. Second, the legendary BW song is an absolute banger for me. It feels like the legendary fights are the most epic thing to do in BW

I'm glad the BW theme goes so hard for you! It's a song that is always fine to listen to for me, but never leaves me with much of a lasting impact. It's a fine tune though! The Dialga/Palkia theme is also great and I think a lot of the comments I've gotten about it have come from a perspective of thinking I don't like it, which is far from the truth. It's a great theme and I enjoy listening to it a lot, it just has INSANE competition with how good so many of these other themes are. At the end of the day it's all just personal preference though, and I hope the video was at least entertaining for ya! Glad to hear we see eye-to-eye on most of them haha. I think the Lugia theme fits the Pokemon just as well as the Ho-Oh theme does. It gives off terrifying water monster vibes with all the bubbles and screechy sounds in the background. Every time I hear it, I feel like Lugia is gonna end me where I stand, and that is every vibe the Lugia is supposed to give! It's a little all over the place with not having a clear time signature (which in my eyes fits the Pokemon even better), and I definitely agree that it isn't as pleasant or as good as the Ho-Oh theme by a decent margin, I just think that it does Lugia as a legendary such justice for how stressful the fight with it is supposed to be (My Johto bias is also absolutely ridiculous tho. HGSS were my first pokemon games 🤣)

Mostly agreed with you on many rankings there (HGSS Ho-Oh theme is so damn good, my top 1 for sure!!!) but the Tapu theme?! Ah come on it's better than C imo LOL. I can understand that you might get "overwhelmed" with all the drums etc but for me this theme feels very different from the usual legendaries with the polynesian flair/inspiration which I liked a lot. Are you planning on ranking the Elite four battle themes?? I would love to see that in the future!

Hey thanks for watching!! Tapu theme isn't bad by any means, just struggles when up against so many themes that are already so good imo. Theme fits the Tapus well though and certainly isn't unpleasant to listen to, the C tier songs are still pretty nice to listen to for the most part! I plan on doing Elite four battle themes at some point, it's definitely on the list for future ones to cover. In the meantime, I've covered a bunch of themes in previous tier lists if you haven't seen those already, so those might hold ya over until the next one hahaha

If you listen to near the beginning part of Black/White fused Kyurem (the part after the drums), and the beginning of the Galarian Birds theme after that little intro, I’m pretty sure thats the same. It’s cool how they took that little bit from fused Kyurem’s theme and put it into the Galarian bird theme, and changed it to sound different.

I love the Dialga and Palkia theme so much. It's the theme I think of when someone says "Legendary battle theme". Maybe it's because I have replayed Diamond more than any other Pokémon game, but it sounds so mysterious and majestic but also urgent and threatning, like you're messing with something way higher than you, perfect for the Pokémon in question.

i am very late, but i wanna give my opinion (as someone who was outraged lugia was put in b tier, no offense, the list was ballin otherwise). i personally feel that those exact themes, the chaotic ones, the ones that try to do a LOT, are the ones i go back to the most: because of exactly that. they're unpredictable. it makes for a great listening experience because there's always something you never noticed, something you didn't remember. the lugia theme is also just incredible with its utilisation of what lugia is meant to be, this huge beast that's only known for destruction and locked itself away in the ocean to contain its own power. it's meant to be chaotic, because lugia just IS chaotic destruction, as opposed to ho-oh's more collected and restorative motive. it could be just a me thing, but i go back to lugia, eternatus, the tapus, etc a lot more because it just... itches a spot in my brain, i suppose? maybe i just require sensory overload to enjoy a song, but i cannot get enough of themes that just blast your eardrums with delicious pokemon goodness. all that being said, banger video (Lugia deserved better, justice for this single parent). cheers :)

Super late but my god, ya did PLA Lake Trio dirty in the video, you probably didn’t in stream but, you didn’t include the bit at the minute 22 mark, that part solidified it for me being an A. And the context of the song helps it too for me, it’s the lake trio testing you, seeing if you’re worthy. And the song is relaxing, like they don’t want your emotions to get overwhelmed, your knowledge to falter, and don’t want your willpower to give out, they want to see if you can catch them. Like how you used context to rank the villains, tho yea that one was much more recent. Tho tier lists are just personal opinions. Just kinda wish you put the minute 22 mark in the video so I could hear it before you slapped it into c teir, jkjk xD

hahaha I appreciate you having enough passion for the theme to make a case for it! I have a very specific way I use/don't use context for these tier lists to make sure I am focusing on the music itself rather than each game's specific contexts, otherwise I find myself being influenced a lot by how much I like the games more than how much I like the music. In the case of that Lake Trio theme, I do think it's good in the context it's used in and PLA is great overall as well, but as standalone listening experiences many of its songs just don't do it for me like many of the others on the list do. More than anything, these lists require me to be really picky with rankings so that I don't just put everything in one general "I like it it's good" tier so please know that theme ending up in C-tier by no means makes it a bad theme in my eyes. Also, I usually listen to each song all the way through on the stream of it, I just can't include the entirety of each theme in the final video for copyright reasons. Some themes can stay included more than others, it just depends on what the KZbin copyright system picks up as an issue. Thanks for voicing your opinions and checking out the video though!

Oh I would LOVE to talk about Mystery Dungeon, I just haven't played too many of the other spin offs besides PMD. Been wanting to talk about the music in that game so badly for years though, might give it its own list or something.

@Brassydoots I do know Conquest is a pretty good strategy game that the fandom tends to overlook. Rangers is niche. Without either playing with a touch screen or having a reliable way to emulate stylus movement, it would be hard if not impossible to play. Good storyline though. The Rumble games I'm not 100% familiar with besides the one that was free to play when the 3ds still had downloadable games. It is what you'd expect of a mobile game, like the picross one. Pokemon Colosseum and Gale of Darkness have a reputation for being difficult games. Pokken I'm unfamiliar with because fighting game. The pinball games are neat. There was even a videogame version of the tcg at one point. Those are just off the top of my head.

It makes sense for Eternatus phase 3 to sound much happier, because you had the "Oh shit oh God oh fuck" themes already for phases 1 and 2 then the OP Dogs show up to save the day and actually give you a chance to win.

nahhhhh I ain't gonna take slander for the Primals theme in ORAS, the way it subtly A/B mixes in the original GBA soundfont version to mimic how Groudon and Kyogre themselves are reverting back to their ancient, primal forms is fucking peak like yeah overall the theme still doesn't have a whole lot going on but that alone is enough to put this one into at LEAST mid A tier

I don't think the theme is bad but when stacked up against an ABSURD amount of banger themes, it's hard to put it too high over the others. For the horse theme, I think you just missed the context and point entirely. The song is broken into three parts. The horse by itself, the rider by itself, and the final song is both of those precious themes added together to make something better. I agree it's not the best theme, but the context adds to it a lot in my opinion.

@@TopOfAllWorlds I was trying really hard during this one to take context out of the equation when I ranked these, otherwise this list would look VERY different haha. There are many themes that fit their situations well, but as standalone legendary themes they aren’t as good imo. Arceus themes are perfect examples of this, where the theme on its own is kinda ass but works well when entirely in context within the game’s story. Wanted to rank based off the music alone, otherwise I’d start to be ranking how much I like each story more than each song ya know? Hope that helps to clarify a bit!

There's only one legendary theme in XY (not counting the mewtwo theme) Because Xerneas, Yveltal, and Zygarde are literally the only legendaries. lol They probably were going to give Zygarde more themes but they weren't allowed to make a Pokemon Z.

There was a lot I had to cut out so that the video wouldn't end up being like 3 hours long hahaha, I did end up listening through most of them to let them loop and see if anything was different. I've also had people bring this up in the comments before and I've gone back to double check that I heard any subtle differences when they looped, but most of the time it hasn't affected my opinions on the songs enough to move them on the theoretical "revised" list. I disagree on what you said about the OG Dialga/Palkia theme-- I think the pomp and elegance of the music serves as a stark contrast the what's happening around you in the game, and I think it actually enhances the terror of the encounter. Like this is some ethereal, holy being, not just a particularly strong animal.

I can definitely appreciate this perspective and I see where you're coming from! In that context it can certainly do a good job of still being intimidating during certain times in the tune, but there are times where it still just sounds a little too happy and hopeful for my tastes. I do really like the theme though, just had to be pretty picky about rankings for the sake of the video not just being all A and S tier rankings hahaha. This theme will always hold a special place in my heart regardless of its ranking here!

This tierlist video made me realize that for USUM, I only paid attention to the Ultra Necrozma theme, the Solgaleo/Lunala theme, Guzma's theme and the remixes for the villain team leaders because I remember NOTHING ELSE from the game. Not even the Tapus. Better yet, I don't even remember BATTLING the Tapus. It isn't even intentional. I cannot for the life of me remember any other music from the game.

That's so interesting! I forgot a lot of themes over time, but I tend to remember the area themes a lot more often than specific battle themes and what not. Whenever I hear them again I can hum along with them, but with area themes I tend to be able to recall them a lot easier without having to hear them again. No idea why that is. I hear ya on the tapus thing though, I'm not sure if I ever battled any of them besides Tapu Koko, even though I think they're all really cool! I didn't see you even touch the Calyrex one later on, but I wanted to say you mixed it up. When you originally listened to Calyrex, you listened to the Mounted Theme. And then you listened to the Mounted Theme again, and rated it higher. Calyrex has a completely different theme when you fight him standalone, without the horses!

HEY! Thanks for pointing this out, you're totally right and that was a mistake on my end. I just gave the standalone Calyrex theme a listen and I'd say it wouldn't change much from where it's currently ranked on the list, though I did vibe to some of the ideas it was going for. Still doesn't hit the intensity of a legendary theme as much as I would prefer, but I do think the theme itself is nice on the ears. As a legendary theme I think it's worse than the final battle version of it, but I think I'd prefer listening to the standalone version more consistently for enjoyment purposes. For me, my tiers are S = listen outside battle, A = wait to select my move so I can listen, B = turn up the volume, C = not noteworthy but not bad, D = mute So like, Ultra Necrozma and Pecharunt are S because I frequently look up their themes just to listen to them, Vs Dialga is an A because I’ll sit and jam for a while before really starting the fight, PLA Arceus is a B because I’ll turn up the volume but I’m not sitting around to listen to it, RBGY Mewtwo is a C cuz I’m not really paying attention to the music, and I genuinely can’t think of any that are bad enough I’d mute them for D

I think your ranking of Arceus theme is not fair. You can understand by yourself that the point of his theme is not to be good but scary. Imagine a kid fighting an Arceus lv 100 with this theme.

The context it's used for in the game is fine, but as a listening experience it's not great. For these lists, I tend to remove specific game-to-game contexts from the equation because otherwise I'd be ranking how much I like the games/their stories/the legendaries themselves rather than being able to solely focus on the music. I do kinda wish the Bike Lizards got their own theme when you encounter the second one. The Koraidon VS Miraidon battle theme is more of a final battle/emotional climax theme for the game's story, rather than a theme dedicated to the legendaries themselves.

IMO Gen 7 music is really underrated. UB team is one that is made so that you grow into it the more you listen, Solgaleo and Lunala themes are good, Dusk and Dawn Nekrozma are also good, Both Lusamine themes are insane. The tapu themes are perfect for chaotic guardian dieties, Rainbow Rocket remasters are all awesome, and to top it all off you have the crown jewel that is ultra nekrozma.

I see it get tons of praise everywhere I go online, though maybe there is more criticism out there that I just haven’t seen. Personally, i disagree with the placement of the primal groudon/kyogre theme, i think it's on the same level as the base oras weather trio. i like how it keeps going back to the GBA version (literally reverting to its primal roots) and that buildup at the beginning goes kinda crazy tbh also i actually didnt know there was an un-primal oras arrangement weather trio theme for some reason, i guess i didnt remember it since it's been so long since ive played omega ruby

Just went back and listened to it again all the way through to make sure I didn't miss anything, and I think in the video I did end up cutting off the song before it did some of the cooler stuff. Can't remember if I finished listening to it all that day or not but regardless, after going back and hearing it all the way through, I think it'd likely stay roughly where it is for me, maybe would move up to a middle of B tier kind of thing. I really like the theme too! It's one that's iconic for me as I played a LOT of gen 4, but there are just SO MANY good themes out there that it has to go up against that make it hard for me to put it too much higher. Appreciate you pointing this out though, I didn't realize that I stopped it short in the moment!

That game's context adds a lot to the experience of the themes, but when ranking them isolated from the games, the Legends Arceus themes can be a bit hit or miss. i agree with the BDSP Dialga/Palkia theme. At about 1m 20s into the theme in DPPt, there's like a heavy back and forth between the snare and bass drum. And even at like 1m 30s, while it deviates a bit with some extra hits from either, it still keeps going back and forth with the snare and bass always landing on 1234. but in BDSP, they keep the Hi-Hat THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE DANG SONG. And it's nice for the more upbeat sounding parts, it VERY MUCH does not fit that part. And it even continues into the build up part with the claps. The Hi-Hat is just STILL THERE. In the OG for the clapping part, the hihat is absent for the first part, but it comes in for like a funky jive with the first Tom.

Like i'm listening to the XY ones, they're just there in the background, but ORAS is either fine or OVERBOARD. For the two main battle themes in it (wild and trainer), there's like a open hi-hat on every 2 and 4 beat. I do personally think alola got it a bit better, since it does have some fun fills or heavy drum sections (like the trainer theme having a full on hawaii five-0, or misirlou-esque or the ventures-like solo), and it doesn't shove hi-hat into your face every chance it gets. At least that's my take on it Do you think it might be a Modern Remake thing?

It was harder to do the drum stuff with older soundfonts so it’s like they go crazy with it in certain remade tracks to try and make it seem fresh and new, but in reality it just ruins the vibe of some of the songs it’s forced into. Even HG/SS had some of this, though I think that soundtrack used the drums MUCH more deliberately and creatively than the remakes that came after.

Up until this generation, my faves were Dialga/Palkia, Deoxys and Solgaleo/Lunala, they've all been knocked down a spot by my new absolute favourite, the Ruinous Quartet. Honestly, I don’t blame you for feeling that way about the theme, it’s a really cool theme! I might’ve ranked it a tad too low looking back on it, but I probably wouldn’t move it up a ton. Hey Monad! Thank you for pointing out that I missed a theme, I forgot all about that one in LA! Your point about the Arceus themes has been brought up a lot in the comments, but in short, I took as much of the in-game context away from these themes as much as I could so I could rank them as farily as possible. If I had included the in-game contexts, these rankings would've looked WAY different (Arceus themes would obviously rank much, much higher than they do here). I wanted to try and just compare the music itself and audio experience alone, otherwise I'd be ranking how much I like each legendary/its story/etc more than the music itself. Does that make sense? Hope that helps to clarify! I noticed the slight changes in the Kyurem theme but it wasn't enough to make it stand out much above the other theme, just felt too similar to get any sort of real different ranking. At the end of the day though, it's okay to disagree with anything I say in these! It's meant to just be silly and entertaining, not really supposed to be taken too seriously haha. I am not the end-all-be-all opinion on these themes, so if you like certain ones more or would rank these differently, more power to ya! Appreciate you checking out the video regardless! :)

However, the point of the list was to look at them specifically as musical themes, so while the Arceus themes do a good job of creating atmosphere in the games, they're not musically enjoyable to listen to on their own. Hey!! I mentioned terapoagos and Pecharunt on screen later in the video once I got to the gen 9 themes, don't remember the exact time stamp. This was recorded before Pecharunt was available so didn't have a reaction for that one (the theme slaps though)

I found your hand movements while vibing to the music amusing, especially during the Deoxys theme. All the Kanto Legendary are in low D. Just the intense versions of the wild battle theme & I think that's lazy on FrLg's part (Even the Arceus theme is better while playing the game). BUTT the Galarian birds is str8 S tier. It's so fun & I can listen to it over & over. Groudon/Kyorge is simply generically intense & in only C. Fused Kyurem & Lugia does ferocity much better. It's superior in the remakes, while the music is played in their Primal transformation cutscene. Dialga/Palkia is low A. IDK what you've against happier sounding Legendary themes. If you'd swap it with Solgaleo/Lunala, then I'd be way more satisfied by your ranking. The Lake trio is an instant S. I couldn't believe it's that low. PLA Lake trio is trash. There's nthg to it. PLA Giratina is close to being S. It's amazing in the context of the game where u think u defeated Volo's Girantina, but it's not over cuz it turns into its Origin form. & now you've to beat it too. Tho Origin Dialga/Palkia clearly belongs in S. Sinnoh Regis is the 2nd best Regi theme. In fact, I thought it was the best Regi music until I heard the OrAs version of it. Unova legendaries are high A. It could be my Gen5 bias, but I love them. The Tapus is right below Xerneas/Yveltal. Ultra Beasts intro is good & beginning, but then the rest becomes forgettable & it's also a short loop. Still would put in low B like you.

Wow, a lot to read through here but glad to see you've got some strong opinions about some of these themes! Definitely some valid thoughts on your end, I'm definitely less thrilled about happy sounding legendary themes than you are but that's just a personal preference thing! Might be time for you to make your own tier list and show us all how it's really done hahaha. I appreciate you checking out the video though, and I'm glad you got a quick out of my silly dancing throughout it!

Hey that's perfectly fine! It's not necessarily bad or anything, there wasn't much on this list that was actually BAD imo, just not enough impact from some of them for what they were supposed to be portraying/emphasizing. In a vacuum, I actually don't mind the Tapu theme, but as a legendary theme stacked up against so many other great themes, it just doesn't do it for me. It's a fun one to listen to casually though imo! Appreciate you checking out this one regardless!

@@Brassydoots My thoughts on Lugia’s theme is that it’s solid from a music standpoint, but it really doesn’t feel like a battle theme. It sounds way more like something that would play during an intense cutscene if that makes sense.

as long as you keep this tierlist as only being your opinion we're good cause I'm sorry, but these are some of the worst ratings I've ever seen Edit: also it's so obvious how while rating the third eternatus theme which is easily A tier your brain is like " N-no I can't like this theme it's from a new gen g-gah I'll just have to come up with an excuse, I wouldn't want to admit that a theme from a recent game is REALLY good now would I"

Hey Blasty! These tier lists are always just my own opinions, I can’t force people to agree with them. If you feel differently that’s fine! The assumption in the second part of your comment is interesting though considering how high I ranked multiple recent themes. Ultra necrozma, ruinous theme, Loyal three and pecharunt were all ranked very high on this. I gave my reasonings in the video for each theme so I won’t re-explain here, but to assume I rank themes based off the game they come from rather than the theme is quite baseless. These are just for entertainment and exposing people to how good Pokémon music can be homie, nothing more. Appreciate you checking out the video!

@@Yanis-choco hey Yanis, as much as I’d love to be able to include the entirety of every theme during these tierlists, I have to cut them down for numerous reasons, one of which being video length. This video would’ve been close to 5 hours long if I hadn’t cut down things as much as I did hahaha. Yeah idk, just never really did it for me. The song never really moves anywhere, sort of just stays on that one idea the whole time, which hey, if that floats your boat that's all good! It still gets the job done in the games but stacked up against the others here, it's just such a high standard to live up to. Just my opinions at the end of the day though, I appreciate you checking this one out! Also yes, I think the Legends Arceus theme maybe deserved a little more love. Not a ton more IMO, but I was slightly too harsh on it in the original ranking.

​​@@Brassydoots it might sound like I'm dragging you in this comment section but I agree with a lot of what you say in the video. It's just the odd moments where I completely disagree with you that stand out so much. I don't think song staying on one idea is bad at all as long as the build on it and keep it from getting boring or there's some greater context like different fazes. The thing with some of LA's themes is that they have different fazes and the music changes to add a sense of progression. I feel like due to you probably not listening to that part, most of your LA themes on the list didn't get a fair shake. It's be like only listening to the first part of the gym battles in sword and sheild

@@TopOfAllWorlds A lot of the different phases didn't make it into the final video due to pacing for video length but I have listened to the different phases for all the songs on here and none of them really moved the needle enough for me to change their rankings much, in my opinion obviously. I talked about this in other replies in the comments section here, but I tried to remove context as much as I could throughout this process so I could focus entirely on the musicality itself. If context were involved these rankings would be WILDLY different hahaha

@@gustibiri24 hey! Would highly suggest checking out the pinned comment for my reasoning there. Gives an explanation for why certain themes are lower than you’d think. Just my goofy opinions at the end of the day though so nothing to take too seriously. Thanks for checking it out!
