I feel like jackson and holts character was such wasted potential, their characters were so interesting and complex and their relationship w frankie was so sweet and i really wish it would’ve gotten explored more. Also i really dont like the face mold of their dolls, it looks so weird and janky and its really upsetting that they dont look like their character art bc im absolutely in love w jacksons offical box art. But monster high has always had rlly weird head shapes for the guys and its a shame that they didnt look more like their eah counterparts.

tbh Jackson and Clair pairing looks so forced, like it was so random, they have no chemistry at all and barely any interaction, clair never made a comeback in the series or movies too so this relationship was a waste. he was so much better with frankie who loves both sides of him, now they put her together with Neightan and it looks forced as well, especially since garret said Neightan was supposed to be gay

CA Cupid and Draculaura were my favorites growing up. I think the message of monster high was just so important. They really encouraged young kids to be themselves and I love that! Nowadays, I think there isn’t much of a message in most dolls. It makes me sad because I grew up with monster high encouraging me to be myself, Barbie saying I could do anything, and bratz saying I should embrace my true fashion.

Oooh Lagoona was my absolute favorite when I was a child, I found her so sweet, so pretty, she's always so kind to everyone and she sometimes gets actually confident and shows she's not always an angel! Also in the french dub (I am french) she has a really strong english accent with such a soft voice, I still love her a lot. Too bad she's in a relationship with Gil, he doesn't deserve her, he's so toxic 🥱 but after rewatching all the episodes and all the movies imma say Clawdeen is EVERYTHING!! Such an amazing character, we would all want her to be our friend, our big sister, she slays on every single one of her looks and she's such a great inspiration. I truly admire her, wish I could be just like her 😫

@@nenosuns cuz he was always so moody, while Lagoona is always nice and brightens everyone's day, but most importantly he prefered the racist opinion of his parents over his relationship with Lagoona. And everytime he seems to change his mind and to think "screw my racist parents" he goes back to his weak and moody self from one film to another or from one episode to another and makes Lagoona suffer again and again. She was crying all the time because of him, he was constantly breaking up or saying je was gonna break up with her..i mean if you don"t call this a toxic relationship i dont know what else it can be 😅 plus in 13 wishes when Howleen made the wish so that they would stay together LAGOONA HAD TO BE TRANSFORMED INTO AN OTHER MONSTER so that she and Gil could still be lovers, it proves things, even if at the end he's like "wait she's annoying af I actually love her the way she is wow"

I feel like Luna Mothews is super underrated. All she wants is to achieve her dream and be in the spotlight. Luna mothews is my favorite. I loved how short she was compared to the other dolls and it made me feel better about my height. You have such good taste! I love Abbey most of all. Her first appearance won me over to her instantly cause it showed that she's bold and blunt but she's also very sensitive and wants to be a good friend. I like that she and Heath are kind of a couple too. I also like Cleo too because she's got a good heart and I like seeing her go from being the mean girl to eventually showing how she's one of the most dependable friends. And I love her friendship with Ghoulia cause they're so different but are best friends. My favorite manster is probably Johnny Spirit cause I love his rockabilly greaser look and he works well with Operetta in that regard since she's also got a rockabilly vibe to her.

For me. My favourites are always gonna be Rochelle Goyle, Abbey Abonimable, Skelita Calaveras and Isi Dawndancer because she's adorable and gorgeous, and I love her and think she needs to be protected at all costs. As well as Jackson/Holt because, I'm a sucker for classic literature. And to see a modern day iteration of Jekyl and Hyde just, it just makes me oh so happy. Same with Frankie Stein, for someone who loves the Frankenstein novel, I really loved how they re-interpreted it into a modern day setting so well with Frankie. Atleast until the reboot anyways. Same with Operetta cuz, Musical nut here too. It's like a match made in heaven between classical lit, musicals and fashion dolls. And while I like Draculaura too, I personally find her kind of adorable, she's not my favourite. Largely because I occasionally find her slightly annoying and feel like the girl can be overwhelming at times with her voice, in the Webisodes especially.

-Even though Abbey is my forever and always ultimate number 1and I did definitely hoped for her to be also yours number 1, I like the number 4 because I was born in 2004 so her ranking on your list is special to me. -I also agree with your vision of Frankie ,she's way more than just the ultimate main character, she's also one of the top 5 most inspiring characters, she's the one who always starts to fight various injustices and people don't give her enough credit for that because she gives Tori Vega vibes. Without her, Monster High (school) wouldn't be the same and it probably wouldn't have progressed and maybe would even have fallen down she wasn't in the movies. -Like in Frankie's case, Ghulia is ESSENTIAL for the whole school on another level and should be top 5 in my opinion, she's just everything:Good friend, hard worker,proud nerd, helps everybody, always free if you are in need, fair player, pays attention to details. She's just way too much of a good should to be as underrated as she is. Her,Abbey and Frankie are the ultimate MH detectives and volunteers. The school hardly would be standing without them. Also,I loved all the episodes were she was the main and I seriously thought that the creators respected her and wanted others to know her better and respect her too but she isn't on the 'OLD SCHOOL' side in the MH website when she's literally is part of the mains, and even has had more screen time than Laguna and she's been there for longer than Frankie. She's even in the trailer, which in my opinion is a bit unfair because even though she's there, they don't name her yet they name Douce. -When you were talking about n°17 and already giving us a long preparation and you also said that it was because the character is literally almost everyone favorite, I was repeating "Draculaura" every single sentence you said, I just already fell it.Nobody else is as popular as her. Also, I always thought the exact same thing about her.She's really likable and pure, it's just that she isn't as progressive or "interesting" as many others, except for the whole love story and Valentine day behind her. Still, she's incredibly pure and actually a very different character from other vampires and FONDAMENTAL so she totally deserves to be in top 10 or top 20. This part was very relatable to me.

(Sorry for being 2 years late to this video but blorbo moment) PUTTING JACKSON AND HOLT AS THE NUMBER 2/3 SPOTS BASED FR 🤝🤝🤝 I love their characters a bunch! especially in the doll diary logs I love how holt is portrayed, in the webisodes we got kinda robbed of seeing them again bc they definitely had SO much potential after the “twist” was revealed, but they never really did anything with them, heck even the movie that mostly revolved around the two barely scraped past their basic characters they never really explored much of how their dynamic was changed post reveal, makes me sad they had such missed opportunity for stories, a lot of plots for MH content and movies had plots of themes that would have been perfect for Jackson holt stories but they never used em hardly! Honestly I guarantee if Jackson and holt where one of the female characters instead this issue wouldn’t have happened near as much seeing as the boy characters rarely got much coverage on their characters from Mattel being a doll company aiming at a young girl audience, plus that’s probably why the guys dolls I definitely think where a lot less quality put into them compared to the girls On a similar note, holts characterization to me was completely butchered in the movie, they made him just a bit *too* obnoxious compared to the other characterizations (doll logs and webisodes) at least to me :/ though to give credit the movie had *some* good scenes with holt being loud or obnoxious working, like the jail scene is still SO funny and well done to me lol but then there would be random scenes with him just yelling or being annoying to his friends for no real reason, the breaking into new Salem scene being a good example, where as in the shorts he only ever got loud if he was excited and he knew when to chill yk? I just think the movie should had had a better grasp of what the time and place was for holt to be turned up to 11 just think the movie should have toned him down more? The later half of the movie he was fine to me! but in the first half I think he should have been taken down a notch on the annoyingness ig? They just kinda missed the Mark with him in my opinion? he’s punk not a jerk lol but rant aside I adore duality boys SO much (so much that I was self indulgent and made an AU surrounding the two in the main cast, it’s been pretty fun to mess around with the idea and design the characters bc it’s been kinda a combo of a redesign and rewrite at the same time, just been me having fun taking my own spin on the characters) so like I said very based ranking lmao you got my respect I’m glad to see another fan of them! ^^ (this got a bit long oops,,,,)(sorry for grammar or spelling mistakes I can’t be bothered to double check)
