One of worst things about the reboot is the fact that the dolls could’ve looked good if they didn’t have ugly faces on most of the dolls and they didn’t make them so cheap I looked at all the first day at school dolls and they could’ve been good if they had more details seriously draculaura’s first day at school outfit would have been decent if they had made her cravat white heart brooch blue and put an actual mesh layer on her skirt instead of printing it on

I think the haunted series is one of my favorite lines. The new characters seem so high quality to me; most of them have hats, bracelets, bags, staffs, and even spray paint. To me they're beautiful and were so fun to play with!

Fun fact about the art class draculaura doll, I only found out recently that I had her, I literally don't remember having a second draculaura doll. My first ever monster high doll was wave 1 dead tired draculaura (probably because they were cheaper). I need to find art class draculaura somewhere in my house because its really weird that I dont even remember having her. Oh and the reason I know that I did have her is because I have her self portrait and paint palette that she comes with..just have no clue where the doll is. Also - I'm so jealous that your dolls are in such nice condition after playing with them, I guess my younger sister and I were rough with our dolls because the few dolls that I've found (which is more dolls than I remember having) their hair is usually messy and theyre either missing hands or naked or wearing the wrong clothes. I didn't realise we swapped our dolls clothes so much. Oh and another weird thing because idk maybe I have a bad memory when it comes to this but I found a jinafire doll that was the new scaremester line but shes wearing clawdeens dead tired shorts. I also found one of clawdeens slippers from that line, I literally specifically remembered for the longest time that we never had a clawdeen doll, we had lots of other characters but not clawdeen but apparently we did and somehow I forgot???

I only recently got into collecting Monster High (I recall seeing them in stores and thinking they looked cool, but I was convinced I was "too old" to buy dolls... now I've decided I'm old enough to just do whatever I feel like, haha). I'm trying not to get carried away before I have more income and space so I don't have a Draculaura yet. That said, School's Out Draculaura is at the top of my wishlist. Honestly not the biggest fan of hot pink personally, but I agree she looks gorgeous when yellow is added to the palette. I also really wanted the Scarily Ever After one until I saw it on sale second hand, though I've heard there are two releases and one is better quality than the other. Still love that green on her though. Sweet Screams Draculaura is GORGEOUS as well, that one is so cool. I've seen the JC Penny exclusive one on sale online before and was very tempted, her face paint is really cute. Anyway, thanks for making this video. : D

Oh right, forgot to say but your call on the Getting Ghostly dolls is probably correct. I actually like the face paint, but I bought the Clawdeen one second hand and the plastic is too soft for the delicate joints so her arm and leg are almost falling off. Even if she has been played roughly with, the material def feels cheap compared to other dolls I've bought. Such a disappointment. : (

So, I was a huge moster High fan from 2011 to 2015, but my elementary school bully (aka the popular girl that everyone was following around like she was a goddess or smth) relentlessly made fun of me for being autistic and having special interests. When Monster High became my special interest (around 5th grade) she bullied tf out of me because it was a kids' show. Of course, everyone followed her (because I was quite literally the human punching bag in elementary school and even though I had to change schools after 3rd grade because of her, she changed schools too so I was still stuck with her lmao and the bullying was even worse in my ''new'' school) (she legit made my life a living hell for 6 consecutive years, then her friends kept the tradition running throughout middle school). The reason I got into Moster High at the time was because of the diversity (to quote Frankie ''everybody's welcome'') and because of the dolls' quality, which was something I never saw before (detachable arms, cool concepts, etc). When I started middle school, I kinda pretended I was no longer into Monster High just to fit in and avoid being bullied. So, I no longer asked for the dolls on my birthday or Christmas. Now I'm 19 and my biggest regret is to have stopped buying the dolls when they were in stores (because they are literally so expensive now if we add the shipping). So, yes don't give up something you love because you're ''too old for it''. That's some major bs. Also, I got back into Monster High at the beginning of the pandemic and let me tell you I was quite ''surprised'' when I saw the 2016 reboot dolls (I was like: ''Wtf happened bro?'') 😆

My personal favourite is first wave :) I just love how her outfit is like a mix of clothes of older times (I mean she’s a vampire duh) and nowadays.
