Remember, at the end of the movie Shang Tsung takes Bi Han suggesting that he will make him into Noob Saibot. If thats the case, we could also see Kung Lao return in his Revenant Form fighting for the other team. Hell, if thats the case, it could even be the same thing for Kabal.
