That's why we argue the introduction of DM53 to Arietes was a nerf rather than a buff, because they lost the M322. (except the AMV) M322 (or CL3143, or m/95) is the heaviest top tier dart in the game currently, and so is much more consistent than other shells. It has borderline disgusting spall. And penetration past 550mm really is redundant, if you know what you're doing, so the 590mm~ penetration on it is never an issue. I run it on Merkava over the M338, and it is the reason why I'll always pick Swedish Leopards over German ones.

​@@mehmetbozkurt3274 no, CL3143/slpprj m/95 is FAR from being the best APFSDS in the game, DM53, M829A2, and 152mm APFSDS are far better with the recent spall changes that came along with the BR changes , these round have been brought up to around the same level as CL3143 when it comes to spall ( as their spall amount and cone size became larger ), especially since DM53 was only around 0.6Kgs lighter than CL3143, add to that the excellent angle performance of these rounds and you can see why CL3143 isn't at all the best APFSDS round in game, sure its better than 3BM60 and OFL 120 F1, but not by far

@@datcheesecakeboi6745 Abrams has literally no frontal protection its entire hull and turret neck is exposed, unlike the Leclerc which doesn't have an exposed turret neck and the Leclerc has a frontal plate that will stop 3bm60 and also has a faster reload than the Abrams, the challenger also doesn't suffer from any neck exposure and the Chally only suffers from a bad engine and weak frontal plate. the Merkava's turret is unbreakable while the engine in the front of its hull eats apfsds alot of the time. the Abrams sucks long story short.

Russia has destroyed what? 4 abrams and 6 leopards? and out of the 10 crews, they still have never penetrated the crew compartment and all the crews have survived, meanwhile theres 1900 burning russian tanks with 85 percent of their crews dead

Можешь привести "аргумент" в виде несколько уничтоженных леопардов и абрамсов и 14041515971519+ миллионов убитых российских танков, но я поспешу тебя огорчить. Украина толком не использует западную технику (потому что она дорогая и бесполезная. Думаю объяснять почему, не стоит), она использует свою технику и живую силу. Можешь поплакать про живучесть, вот только она есть в танках РФ. Можешь поплакать про уничтоженные танки, но попрошу вспомнить про противотанковые мины, РПГ, ПТУРы и другая подобная фигня. Так же, обычно танки России уничтожаются в борта, а в вар тандере в борт можно уничтожить всех.

Yeah, theres video of them lowering a 5 ton weight on the end of the barrel to break the stabilizer on the L2A6 before they put it on open display. Fun times. Also, how many Ukrainians survived when their western tanks were disabled? Oh right, all of them. How many Russians die when their russian tanks are destroyed? Oh right, most of them.

Crazy part is the best tanks in war thunder aren’t even that good irl. Leo2a7 is literally just a modern day Sherman. It doesn’t have terrific armor or a terrific gun. It’s meant to fight in large groups and it can be altered to suit almost any task. They even had an experimental variant where it was converted to a IFV. The T-90M is a really good tank but nowhere near as good as gaijin would have you believe. The ariete irl is actually a pretty decent tank. The Fuji is a mildly worse version of the 2A7. The Abrams honestly fits about where it is in real life. If anything it should be a little better at taking hits. The ZTZ-99 is pretty decent too but should perform way better in game. Sorry but it just drives me up a wall how gaijin claims to try to make their tanks as accurate to real life as they can but the tanks that should be fantastic are often times shit and the tanks that shouldn’t be very good end up being at the top. It also drives me insane that they decided to make the highest br premium Chinese tank a variant of the ZTZ-96 where China removed a massive amount of the armor and slapped a APS on it. Like yea in real life that’ll work out alright but in WT where you don’t really end up having to defend against AGM’s all that often it’s kind of a waste of time and money to add that in. They should’ve added a premium IFV or something.

The Abrams don't need "a bit" more armour to be realistic. They need over 500mms more on the turrets and more than 800mms more on the lower hull lmao.
