I like the other format better :) it feels more casual. But I have to admit it’s easier to remember the products when visualized. But I personally don’t like to see the list/overview so often. Maybe you could show each category(the old three categories) in the end as an overview- but as a collage, not so “formal“. I’d watch them no matter the format though 🩷

Welcome back!! That's too bad the CoverGirl skin tint didn't work for you. I have really enjoyed it but agree that there's a bit more fuss given the format. I have liked it best applying a small amount directly from the pump to different parts of my face (not blending on my hand before). I use my fingers to blend and a bouncy dry sponge to pat down lightly. For me I have found the fuss worthwhile because the shade match and wear is such a good match for my preference. I bought some of those Naturium lip balms on your recommendation and I love them…. I bought the cafe collection because I’ve been sick and indulging in retail therapy and I love every bronzy color! I also finally indulged and got the Patrick Ta blush in She’s So LA and She’s A Doll and I have a request - I’d love a video or series on how to craft looks around blush color! Lovely to see you back. Missed your smiley face. I wonder if you’d consider a video on value for money. I’m talking about brands ie Tower 28, About face etc. I just think the drugstore price point on some brands are now creeping up cost wise. I think it’s about value for money. Tower 28 concealer price is amazing and it’s such a fantastic formulation. If you had a set budget would you pay slightly more for a jump in quality thanks xxxx

I do like the FENTY stick. I don’t usually wear foundation/liquid foundations and I like this as I buff it in and it does feel undetectable. I have a normal to dry skin though not oily.

When I go to Ulta/Sephora/Nordstroms I swatch foundations and think, “what would Julia say?” : ) (My fav foundation is Mac Studio fix face and body the skin tint, looking for a medium coverage product in that same vein)

chanel beauty and covergirl are both owned by coty, so it might not actually be that expensive for covergirl to develop something similar to chanel, since they could have access to some of their research. it's interesting to me that it ended up being such a dud, i kinda wonder where it went wrong. then again, there's loads of variables in formulating cosmetics. even an identical formula in theory can end up not performing the same if ingredients are a cheaper grade.

The two MUFE HD foundations are soooo good together! The only downfall I've had is the shade range with the newer one. What shade have you been using and did you have any issues matching? Because usually we're close in shade and I'm curious if you've had the same troubles....

On a side note-- have you ever tried the Addiction Tokyo blushes? I recently purchased a few and they are a dead on dupe for the Surratt blushes (they have 4 different finishes and the nuancer blushes give that sheeny glow like Surrat's)

The Kosas BB cream was SO DRYING and I have oily skin. I was so disappointed, it looked so good in the campaigns. I exchanged for the Supergroup tinted sunscreen that just came out ---- much better!!!

I absolutely love the regular fenty tinted moisturizer and saw some great reviews for the stick, but I hated it lol I felt self conscious about my skin all day, never have that with the original form. Been obsessed with the concealer though, I've never had a better shade match (a lot of neutral shades don't look neutral).
