@@Speculationer7784 Bruh it’s all about people’s personal opinions. I hate you using the phrase “you should have”. Anyways, Hands of Time has some bad dialogue, but I think Kai’s story is interesting. Acronix is a funny villain, the set up for the season in the first 2 episodes was well done. The season also puts Wu and Lloyd in good positions going into the Oni Trilogy, and I feel like their characters their owe a lot to Season 7. Not a perfect season by any stretch, but I just really enjoyed it. I Separated S11, but yeah Fire Chapter next to last would makes sense, tho I do think the Ice Chapter was alright. Day of the Departed is a little underrated. Sure some bad dialogue and execution, but it’s a really fun special to watch, especially compared to the Island, which I just never enjoy watching. The filler of Season 2 is for the most part good in my opinion. Premiere is a cute episode with the ninja getting jobs. Then the Dareth introduction episode is decent enough. Episode 3 serves a purpose for Lloyd, Episode 4 is pretty stupid I’ll say, but Episodes 5 and 6 are the best of the season. I honestly might just slightly prefer the filler stuff to the dark island stuff as it is less generic and more enjoyable.

I agree with skybound it was when I was most compelled in the story of ninjago and loved it most,also lucky enough have a lot of the sets since they were in clearance at such a good price.not only that but the wave of sets were some of the best and most unique.jay is my favorite ninja along with Kai and they really deepen his character and bring out such a lovable character as the main character.Nadakhan is one of ninjago’s best villains and I love how step by step he takes each of the ninja until it is jay and nya and the infinite wishes is a smart idea.Jay and nya’s relationship is the best of all ninjago in the show,and it’s great to hear there emotions,feelings,and opinions that they share together.alongside with misfortunes keep’s crew is also very fun to watch,I love chance and his jokes and you can tell he loves his job.When they were in the island it felt so adventurous and entertaining at the same time.seeing the ninja work together was amazing to watch.the ending was amazing but isn’t the best ending as it felt a little rushed and I wish it was 13 episodes so we could watch more of this masterpiece.dareth was part of the operation land ho crew and I just love seeing him.Anyways in a conclusion of this essay about how I feel about skybound as it is the best ninjago season ever and deserves more love because it is a masterpiece.

I like the take about Master of the Mountain. That is clearly the most overrated season. Here is my ranking: 1. Sons of Garmadon (just the best) - A+ (100%) 2. Hunted (continuation of the best) - A+ (100%) 3. March of the Oni (an amazing conclusion to an amazing trilogy) - A (95%) 4. The Pilot Episodes (such an iconic beginning) - A (95%) 5. Rise of the Snakes (How to do a first season) - A (95%) 6. Tournament of Elements (Ending was a messy, but it was so amazing before that) - A- (90%) 7. The Final Battle (A great OG conclusion) - A- (90%) 8. Ice Chapter (Such a compelling story) - A- (90%) 9. Skybound (Ending weakens it, but still great) - B+ (85%) 10. Possession (Overrated, but still great) - B (85%) 11. Seabound (Opposite of Skybound, Ending carries, but it was still good before) - B- (80%) 12. I did, and still do. Pilots are just too generic (especially the first ep), for my taste, still decent tho. Rebooted does fumble the ball some towards the end, but in this situation I don't think it fully retracts what I really enjoyed about the first 1/2-2/3 of the season.

Well I’m going tbh…I just rewatched Rebooted, and I find it a little worse. Episodes 1 to 5 are still a very good story, but Episode. 6 and 8 I do not like. For me I find the Overlord to be really stupid in the finale, and I really don’t like how Zane’s ice blast somehow killed the Overlord, and how they decided to reveal he was alive in the same episode. Overall though I do really enjoy episodes 2, 3, 4, and 5, and episode 1 and 7 are pretty decent. But I would no longer say it’s the most underrated season. I think I would now say that that title should go to Season 10.

I didn’t start watching Ninjago until late 2018, so I am definitely not an OG kid. It’s just the 11 minute format in my opinion butchers the pacing and the depth of the story. I also would say all of the characters have been dumbed down, and all of the worst aspects of the humor in Masters of Spinjitzu is turned up to 11 in the newest seasons. Day of the Departed is just a guilty pleasure of mine, I really don’t know why I love it show much. As for Season 13, I hate tons of things about it. First off, Wu literally just had a teaching moment where he proved himself to the ninja in S11, so he has absolutely 0 reason to be in a funk. Cole also has so many horrid quips throughout the season, “I know a bad guy when I see one, and that is a bad guy” 🗿🗿🗿🗿….(.) The Munces and Geckles are also some of the cringiest characters in the series m, their voices are so annoying, their dialogue is pretty darn atrocious, and the Munces adding M-“ to all those words is just giving be infant television vibes. The Skulk Sorcerer is also the most generic villain in the entire series, and instead of giving him depth they waste episodes with the ninja failing to rescue Cole, someone falling, backstory for side characters we just met and I personally couldn’t possibly care for less, and an entire episode dedicated to just Cole rising to the top of the mountain. I won’t slander the finale, that was very good…but like Cole’s arc was so poorly paced mainly do to the wasted episodes, not being kicked in until the second half, and the eleven minute format not having enough time to make a significant impact/development in the story in individual episodes. Overall, it’s just not a very acceptable arc in my opinion.

I agree with a lot of your takes. The first time I watched Master of the mountain, I found it to be a really boring season because the monks and geckos really ruined it for me, I also never really liked king Vaneglis as the main villain because he just seemed like another Ice emperor type villain. The only interesting thing it has for me is that his daughter isn’t on his side, which is a repeat of season 4. I also consider Skybound as the best season so far. Jay has always been my favorite Ninja and finally seeing him get the spotlight felt like a miracle and Nadakhan is a way better villain than someone like the Overlord. He actually has a good motive, unlike most villains who just want to destroy the balance for the sake of it. While I didn’t like the ending the first time I watched it because I felt like most of the character development for Jay and the sky pirates just got blown out of the show, it felt really unique at least but honestly, I wish we got an alternative timeline where Jay didn’t make that as his final wish. I disagree strongly on your take about Crystallized tho. It was my dream for many years to see the Overlord come back and be destroyed for good. However that never really happened, as he just went back to his old dormant state, but it finally put an end to the mystery behind the vengestone buyer and brought back some of my favourite characters, like Pythor, Harumi, Garmadon and the Overlord. The ending for it was really bad and for me, it will always be the worst one, but the leading up to it was really incredible and something I never expected to see from Ninjago.

I hate season 2 because it took every Ninja other than Lloyd and put them in the dump and turned him into an OP teenager guy that made everyone else useless. The first half was really filler and the Overlord was for me, one of the worst villains, as he had NO motive other than just being evil to take Ninjago and just seemed like a more evil version of Garmadon. The final battle felt really underwhelming to me as it made the Overlord seem really weak compared to Lloyd and felt a bit rushed even tho the season had plenty of time to extend it to a way cooler fight scene but instead used it to make useless episodes to sell toys.

Nya's death was so stupid at the end, and predictable, plus it doesn't even matter with the next season. Kalmaar is probably the worst villain. Overall a horrible season) - 3/10 20. I mean yeah. I think they are weak compared to almost everything else, but Seabound is decent, and I enjoy some episodes from other seasons. I do however consider 11-15 to be a sequel series, as so many things are different compared to 1 through 10, and mostly for the worse.

Hmm....I actually still haven't finished Dragons Rising. So no comment on that placement, but I do think your placements on Skybound, Hunted, and ToE are on point. However, Master of the Mountain and Seabound are way too high in my opinion. Also since thi video released I have started to dislike Hands of Time more, so I can kinda understand it's low placement now, though I do find a few seasons to be worse.

It was a bad season for Kai,Jay,Nya,Lloyd and Zane but it really was a good cole season. Vangelis had one of the realest reasons in Ninjago, Money. Coles Charakter was really good in this season and the side Charakters too. The friendship between cole and Wu was also really sweet and the final battle was on of the best we got. I mean if there are too many Charakters you have to cut some. So thats why the other Ninja were not that present in this season. But that was the right thing to do. Coles Charakter showed all his treates (kind, leadership,to stay calm...). This is the opposite of Vangelises Charakter what is super important when he fought with cole and In general Coles Charakter was enjoyable. And also the first cole season (exept dotd).and cole is probably the best Protagonist for Ninjago. Ps: if my english sucks that is because i am from germany.

Because the first 12 eps are pretty mid imo. Episode 1 is a badly paced premiere, and Nya's powers going haywire is poorly executed. Episodes 9-12 also really didn't need to be four episodes, and as a result the plot points in there feel super dull. I do love the final two episodes however, and would say both are amazing.

i watched 14 episodes of crystallized season and the story of harumi connects to season 8 and 9. Because she was under the ruins of the building and in season 15 it is described how she saved herself how she met the overlord. Her song that she sang is also heard.

I never watched past Season 1 Part 1. I've personally moved on from the series. As for my thoughts on Season 1 Part 1, thought it was poor in the dialogue, execution, and pacing departments. However, I did think conceptually the merge was a decent idea that was an improvement on the 11-minute era's concepts.

Even though the first half has a lot of filler, the second half has an amazing storyline and the main characters are much more mature than Season 1. Not to mention the main villains, Lord Garmadon and The Overlord who throughout the second half both manage to pose a real threat to Lloyd and the original four ninjas. And I could go on for hours listing all the reasons this is an incredible season. But that's not the point of the comment, what I mean is that just because the first half is filler, it doesn't mean that the whole season is bad or terrible and there is still the second half that manages to save the season with a real leap in quality. I hope I was clear.

No nyas was VERY true, her entire sacrifice that build up thorough the entirety of seabound, which was one of her best arcs in the show, was completely undone, even if she didn’t get her powers back it would’ve been fine so we felt that her sacrifice had consequences (like they were suppose to in seabound) but she got them back so we could bring back the sea army (for them to do literally nothing in the finale lol)

You guys only think nya is terrible in this season only cause she is brought back. It baffles me how yall believe nya being brought back reversed her character as a whole, when it quite literally finalized her character as someone who works best as someone that performs their own things. This is shown as they bring her back as samuri x, and she literally creates a new mech, and performs many great acts on it. Bringing her back as samuri x was the perfect call after "reversing" her sacrifice, as samuri x is the prime example of the true potential of nyas character. And yet apparently that brings her at her lowest? And also something to point out, this is a concept that has been addressed way back in skybound, when nya is always told what type of character she should be, samuri x is the one thing she actually created. Crystalized merely builds off of subtle ideas and concepts that came before.

About harumi, tbh shes the only character in this season I would understand people being upset about, cause honestly her writing in this season isnt as swell as the oni trilogy. However, I dont think it's fair to say her motivations are ignored. People can change, and in that their viewpoints can change. She thought the ninja werent actual heros, and she decided to take action, how did that end up? She dies. Now shes brought back and fights for a new purpose. Peace. And she believes that can only be achieved when one side wins. And every ninjago season proves this as peace is always restored when one side has won. The problem with her thinking is that she believed the dark side was stronger, but that usually ends up being the case anyway. Also I can assure you this isnt her redemption arc yet. All she did was change sides. Nobody forgave her for anything, and its heavily implied she still goes to prison.
