John should definitely be higher. John and Charles are literally the only gunslingers in the gang who were able to go straight and live honest hardworking lives. The only reason he even had to kill anyone in rdr1 was bc he was forced to.

Also John seemed to care about not getting innocents involved (his shock at Dutch killing Heidi McCourt, him insisting to do things properly in the chapter 2 train robbery so no innocent gets killed) so I'd say he's as honorable as an outlaw could be But where he gets all the dishonour from is his treatment towards jack and abigail until chapter 4, and him deserting the gang for a year

Javier only became a scumbag in chapter 6 rest of the game however he’s a pretty good guy He’s done a lot more good then grimshaw (before chapter 6 at least) Javier antagonized others in chapter 6 which is nothing compared to Susan antagonizing others from chapter 2-6 She barks at others to contribute to the gang while contributing nothing herself(legit I see uncle do more then her) only thing I’ve seen her do is sweep and wipe tables as well as directing others on things to do. She treats the girls like property rather then people(saving tilly was the only good thing she did for the girls) tried to force Abigail back into prostitution in a easy to miss interaction and killed molly who turned out to be innocent. Also just plain nagging Arthur and others is annoying. I’d definitely say she more scumy then Javier while yeah he became evil in the end but prior to that she takes the cake. Only good things she’s done is help save tilly and side with Arthur before she died

I feel like you did eagle flies dirty. He does care about his fellow native Americans and wants to help them, but goes about it the wrong way. He tries fighting against the army to save his people, but dutch screws them over and uses them, leading to his death.

Yeah, but I would say he is constantly reminded of the sacrifices that he has to make to fight the army and the losses the Native Americans will take by his father and Charles, yet still goes through with it. Maybe he should be a little higher, but risking lives in that way to me is not something a high honor person would do.

Sister shouldnt be that high. She says herself, that she has done bad things in the past. She is like Arthur, she did bad, but got redemption and and turned good. We dont know the scale of bad things she did, but we know that she was not a saint before, and she is relatable character to Arthur, thus seeing through Arthur. Albert Mason, the cameraman should be somewhere in these lists. I think he is a bit selfish, even if not a bad guy, but his ambtions cause troubles to him and others saving his ass all the time, so B tier.

I feel like the likes of Micah are far too high on this list (yes, even when he’s so low) because he’s simply a psycho, while his writing implies he cares about the money (constantly talking about going back to blackwater with Dutch to get the money, for example) I don’t see much of that in his actions. he kills innocents, frequently chooses violence where it isn’t remotely necessary, and gains very little from it in a material sense. he doesn’t even play friendly with people, not even Dutch really, more acts subordinate to him, he’s unashamedly a bad person who doesn’t care about the people around him, even people he’s been riding with for months. in my opinion doing wrong for “revenge” or especially for financial gain, Cornwall, Braitwaite etc, is more honorable than what Micah does. like at least you set your morals aside for a reason, while Micah completely lacks morals in the first place. I mean he didn’t even have a motivation to become a rat, it’s unclear exactly how it happens (wether he went to them or they captured him and worked out a deal for his release) but either way he could have easily proceeded without co-operating and he doesn’t seem to get any money, freedom or anything else from helping them. he seems to literally just do it hurt the gang for what, his own joy? they wanted Dutch dead/captured more than anyone so it’s not like they would have just let Micah run off with Dutch while they had an arrangement for his freedom in place. he just rats on them to crush the gang, no other reason. that to me makes him the least honorable in the game, closely followed by Dutch.

I would argue that at the very least, Cornwall should be above Colonel Favours. (and correct me if I'm wrong because I'm on chapter 3 of my second playthrough), but we don't see Cornwall do too many 'dishonorable' things, just that he's a capitalist to the extreme basically only motivated by money. I think the most dishonest thing he did was looking for oil on Wapiti. Favours on the other hand is seen breaking treaties, being racist, trying to arrest Captain Monroe, on top of being a coward in battle. All that being said, it is entirely subjective. Cornwall has (most likely) directly/indirectly worsened the lives of way more people than Favours, it's just that we see Favours taking a more active role in being a steaming pile of shit. Great video!
