Playing rdr2 first and rdr1 later. I would say rdr2 is best game settings. Rdr2 has more options to tackle gun fights and filling dead eye meter fast enough and easily. like restore dead eye just drinking snake oil, cigar , cigarettes, chewing tobacco etc.

I get what you’re saying, but my thing is, I don’t think anything they do will top the popularity and Greatness that is Rdr2. It happens all the time with games, movies and influencers I still would vote for Van der Linde Gang pre black water. There’s still so much they could do and build off of, and all of the fan favorites could come back one last time. I personally think it’s the best option for rdr3 unless they go off and do something completely unrelated to any known characters but I don’t think rockstar would do that. But we would have the whole, complete story of the Gang. I mean no hate, I just think rockstar could do something great with it.

After the PC release, I can confirm that gameplay wise RDR 1 is way better. Unlike RDR 2's bullshit floaty & clunky controls and camera shakes... RDR 1 is snappy and responsive with way better physics and overall game feel. If you want to play a fun video game: RDR 1 If you want to play an interactive movie with some of the most restrictive mission design ever: RDR 2

I like the idea of RDR3 being the story of Red Harlow, the REAL story. Maybe make people think the game is a remake of Revolver at first before going in a different direction, same main story beats but done differently. Even say Revolver is a retelling of what actually happened from someone like Uncle to make people believe HE is Red (like the popular theory), maybe have the Redemption version of Red actually IS Uncle while the Revolver one is a separate continuity like R* has said and be someone else.
