I completely get you with the color pink, I also love when manga volumes/Jump issues have color background! That's also the reason why Mission: Yozakura Family is my favourite Jump cover of the year.

Yuji being in the corner of all those later issues feels very “Ariana what are you doing here?” Lol. This was fun! I never really looked at the covers much beyond an initial “oh cool” so it was fun seeing you take an artistic lens to them. I agree that the group karaoke cover, the JJK Anni cover and the Godoy one are really good. Would love to see you cover the 2024 covers, I looked at them again and there’s some really cool ones! (The Dragon/Dance crew covers are fun, some solid ones for new series like Astro Royale and Ichi, and nice final ones for MHA and YozaFam, though the latter MIGHT get one more depending.)

The JJK cover with Yuji and Sukuna was a parallel with the Jump Giga cover which released around the same time, which had Gojo and Kenjaku in similar positions. The Blue Box anime cover just has the boxes read “anime announcement” or something similar, not the title. See the TV announcement on the side, which uses the same characters. Anyway, it’s a shame the Kagurabachi cover didn’t use THAT pose

One of my favorite jump covers of all time is the original Prince Of Tennis one (I don't remember which year but its issue 32) . I have a clear file they sold of it around the 50th anniversary framed.

The UU 3rd anniversary cover sucks. I hate how everyone is different sizes. Also as much as I dislike Nue, Kota really knows how to design a cool looking character. Also also you are insane putting the One Piece King cover in anything but high A. One cool fact about the summer cover is that if you count all the characters that adds up to 55

Yeahhhh I'd love cooler UU covers but if thats the price for a good manga I dont mind. Nue's characters look cool in colour but most kind just blend in for me, I dont think they have particularly strong designs. Ohhh thats cool for the summer cover!
