I think there’s a big difference between careers that are ONLY rabbit hole and careers with a work from home option. Because you can choose to “work from home” every day and that makes it into an active career - I build public lots to be the work lot. So for example an engineer would choose work from home, then travel to the computer repair shop I built on a generic public lot to do the work from home tasks…

Werewolves does have one way of earning money, and that's by making everyone hate you because you scared them so badly that they dropped their wallets. lol I suppose it's a bit like the Criminal Career in that way. lol Speaking of the basegame Criminal Career, it's a surprisingly interesting one in that it encourages you to do Programming and Mischief daily tasks, and level those skills up of course. Mischief and Programming are also both moneymaking skills on their own between Programming's hacking, plugins, apps, games, etc. and Mischief's pickpocketing, which iirc might be another Criminal Career daily task. The Charisma skill also lets you ask for loans from other sims and I don't know that you ever have to pay them back? lol Oh, and don't forget the Kleptomaniac Trait, which allows you to steal bigger and bigger objects from different lots the higher your Mischief skill is, so if your sim is a pathological thief like this, Mischief has a second way to make money.

There should be a bit more attention for the difference between the pure rabbit hole careers and careers with a work from home option. In basegame only style influencer and freelance jobs can work from home. In DLC, the salary person from snowy escape is the only one without a work from home option. All other careers in DLC allow you to stay with your sim during work hours. Careers with a work from home option are far better than the pure rabbit hole careers because you can combine them with raising a family or studying at university. I think discover univesity should be top rank because these 3 careers do have a work from home option. They can be combined with studying if you work from home which helps paying for university. The engineer career also allows to create computer classes or an exo suit which is unique as far as I know.

23:29 I don’t know about in the UK, but in the USA Jam and Jelly are two distinct, but similar things. There is also Preserves, which is a related thing. If I recall correctly, Jelly is smooth and has no fruit chunks, Jam is thicker and may have some small fruit chunks, and Preserves is the thickest of them all and has large fruit chunks. There is more to it, but at a glance, that’s the differences. Growing up we did not have jelly in our house. I’m not saying it is bad or anything, we just didn’t have it, so the idea of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, for example is weird to me, because I want peanut butter and honey (which was the most frequent peanut butter type sandwich in our house), but as far as fruit based products go, jam or preserves was what we normally used. I personally find jelly slimy, but I have on occasion had it in a sandwich or on bread with butter and the taste isn’t bad, it’s just not my preference. I do find some people use “jelly” for all three, but they definitely are different products.

Ok, I have a few things with different takes. First, I have to say some of these its not careers its skills that you use to make money. I suggest another video "Profitable Skills". Second, "because going to a restaurant and just eating there isn't very fun"... well, it COULD be. It was in Sims 1 and Sims 2. Sims 3 not so much but not badly like Sims 4. Now, in Sims 1 and 2 they combined it with dating and you literally went to a restaurant and sat down and ate... with your date. There were activities to do when you weren't eating and you could do other things besides just eat but the whole point was things to do with your date. And it was fun! Sims 4 took the fun out and made it LITERALLY sitting down to eat. I guess we the players were responsible to add fun to the lots to make it be more what we were used to in other games, but yeah. Next, Archeology, skill. But I agree on the gameplay, but it seems to be a very much slimmed down version of World Adventures. But then Sims 4 expansions and gamepacks can't hold a candle to Sims 3. I guess if they had done multiple game packs like this to have a true WORLD it would have been cool, but... yeah. Next, Strangerville. I like the military career but they messed up part of it and didn't fix it. It's not really a bug but a mistake. They have requirements to use an object that would require to be purchased but then on the next promotion they receive the object as a career reward. I actually like Strangerville both gameplay and the world. Next, Batuu! I actually enjoy Journey to Batuu. You can totally make money, you just buy the object with credits and when you go back to your home lot sell them for simoleons. All the things that can be found in the world on the home lot translate to simoleons. Yes, I have had sims get rich from it. Also part of the gameplay under Galactic Pirate you get the ability to pickpocket. I have all my evil sims go through that just to have that ability in their evil repertoire as there is no cool down. Next, Realm of Magic. I have to disagree in that you can use that same table from Jungle Adventure (or other packs that have one) and sell the potions or ingredient, open a potion shop. Just based on your previous logic for Jungle Adventure, Realm of Magic has plenty of career gameplay. Next, Moschino, I really got nothing for that one. I bought it for the build/buy. Next, Plopsy, totally agree. Next, Paranormal! I loved this pack so much... until they broke it. I still have problems playing it. And it hurt so much. Their fix didn't truly fix it for me. I think this is what truly led to me going back to Sims 3. Next, Get to Work, lol, there ya go. You just said it later. I do have to say that I was really into the "Detective" career, but it glitched several times and I had problems with it. But, yes, I loved the scientist career. I set up shops, but never really played them much. And I don't think I ever did the doctor career much at all. I was too into the scientist. Next, City Living, I'll be honest I never played those careers at all. They held no interest for me. Probably because I'm not a very social person so having a career where you are required to go out and make friends and "influence" people is just not my thing. Next, Get Together. I'm sorry I totally disagree in that it is not a career or a skill and I don't think it should get that high a rating. That is just a way to exploit the game, as you did say yourself. Next, Cats and Dogs. I did enjoy the vet career. I have to disagree in that I think it was as well done as the doctor career, which tells you something there. In some ways better because if your pet is sick you can take them to the vet but with the doctor if your sim gets sick you cannot go to the hospital. It's not on some lot that you can only get to if you are playing the career, so I did like that better than the doctor career. Next, Seasons. I'll agree with this one because its an overhaul really. I will say that I do like that in sims 4 you can grow flowers which you cannot in Sims 3. Next, Get Famous. I enjoyed this one. I think it was best really for sims that already had some skills because with other skills you got a better variety of gigs. I liked that writers could get famous and stuff like that. So I do feel that this one had more to offer than the obvious having cross pack compatibility that way. Next, Island Living. I agree about the given career. However, the odd jobs, if you have skills can be lucrative. The problem is that everyone tries to do oddjobs as a new sim that has no skills and then are disappointed in it. Next, University. Well, it is cross compatible with packs that came before University, not so much after. When I played Eco Living, I had my sim go to University first and it was a problem because there was not an update which said which classes the sim needed to take for that career. There was an answer on the forum but it was not ingame like the others. Next, Eco Living. I did truly enjoy this career. I enjoyed the pack. I just felt that they whole pollution thing was not implemented well. And I totally turn off those stupid neighborhood action plans. I absolutely LOVE dumpster diving and you can totally make that your career with imagination and the handiness skill. Or with Realm of Magic. Next, High School Years. I don't own it. my niece wants it, I personally don't see a point to it except having a new world. Next, Snowy Escape. Honestly, I think this should have been a vacation game pack rather than a full on expansion. And I'll leave it at that. Last, Cottage Living. I loved this pack so very much. I think this is the reason I stayed with Sims 4 as long as I did. I had so very much fun with this one and loved loved loved it. With Seasons it was hard to get the new plants but that was my only issue with it. Sidenote, jam and jelly are two different things. Basically jelly is smooth with jam having more actual fruit pieces.

I have to disagree with the vet career being as good as the doctor career and here's why - If your sim wants to be a doctor, they can just go ahead and get a job as a doctor. If your sim wants to be a vet, they have to first earn enough money to buy a vet clinic before they can work there, which means they have to get another job (or some type of income from somewhere) in order to do this job. I don't like the idea of having to get a job in order to get a job. A doctor doesn't need to buy the hospital to be a doctor, so why should a vet have to buy a vet clinic?

I completely understand that it takes more time and effort to continuously make new face thumbnails so I understand why you would much rather choose to pick the same ones over and over again, but from a viewer’s perspective who really enjoys your videos it would be nice to see something different for the thumbnails, maybe even just a new Bach of photos to use for the cover.
