I feel like Xavier is really out of place. I think it's not much of an argument that he can only use meteor blade once, because it should be enough to win story matches. in the story you don't necessarily need to score lots of goals, unlike competition routes. Atop of that he has a ridiculously high kick stat, so I think Xavier is still really good in the story.

His kick stat isn't that high tbf. I mean, it is, but he levels up too slowly

The players in this list are ranked by their viability, not strength. Because as mentioned in the intro, IE 3 is the easiest game of the series. Xavier does not have a high kick stat, with it only being 71. Lower than Kevin, Axel, Archer, Hurley etc. (Stats don't matter anyway) And only being able to use 1 decent shot while most others can use 2 until mid-postgame is not a good option. This is simply just a case of better options available rather than Xavier being bad.

I guess that if everyone starts at level 99, he would be much higher. But his slow experience level up makes him pretty useless during the adventure.

Also, Shawn levels up very quickly as well, although he is not available for 2 chapters. He really is the perfect player.

If you get a special item in scout that increase a player tp you can use 2 grand fire without recovering tp

Big ups to Axel and Mark for still making top 5. Slight problem with Axel being there because he is a forward and he can do literally NOTHING else, not even dribbling which can come back to bite you against a good defender but easily fixable with a dribbling move plus his one Grand Fire is a long shot so without a shot block it's probably GGs. Surprising even more is that Hurley is number 2. Apparently he's just really good for the story. Same for Thor but glad he's getting some respect. And then Fing Shawn Froste topping the list twice in a row. They made him too strong, thank God he's not a story player in GO. Speaking of GO, my prediction for best player is JP, Victor or Arion.

The best thing in my opinion about axel is his bakunetsu storm which you level up to G5 and doesn’t consume pt, and if you equip him with ultrathecnic is even better

I feel like Caleb could be great because his stats are pretty good, but Killer Slide and Breaktrough 2 make him pretty much unusable until he gets Killer Fields because they foul like half of the time

Yo I can't believe Xavier is one of the worst story players. Coming right after me and apparently defender Xavier was always a thing. Zykria must love that. What you must not love though Tom must be Archer being one of the worst on the story players spectrum but everybody's usable so...eh? I really had no hope for Nathan being on any spot but yeah that spot...it doesn't really matter. What matters is Kevin being done so dirty. But considering he wasn't originally a member but Scotty Banyan of all people was, makes sense.

"Never give up!" doesn't weaken the team if you are winning, you can prove that with the calculator.

OH MY GOD bro, why is Jude getting done so dirty all the time? First, he's kept off top 3 because of that guy, then he's reduced to top 8 but now he's reduced to not even top 10 but two spots LOWER than that. And the people he's losing to is insane, TOD FRWKING IRONSIDE is better than him during the story and that random Arab. I mean something's clearly wrong with Austin being worse than Tod as well but JUDE? The only compensation is he's higher than Caleb. Otherwise this shit is rigged and the Level-5 developers can idinagwe.

I like how Tom forgot to mention the TP thing for Jude and Caleb. They are indeed heavy hitters however... Field of Force is a staggering 57 TP so unless you fire them up, they get wiped out after 1 dribble. - They're still good to use though. (Jude's 1 spot higher than Caleb cause you can use him for an extra 2 chapters and he at least gets some usable backup moves)
