I think the reputation outfit does an AMAZING job with it’s shaping at representing the ambivalence of the snake-woman stereotype, the false double faced connotations of it. Also the slithering snakey aspect of them sliding on her body… I would have god tiered it honestly.

I totally agree! Depending on what side you’re viewing her, she looks “completely different” referring to her reputation versus who she is. I’d love to ask her (if what I think is true) which side refers to what? The pant and leg side where she’s “covered in snakes” is her reputation? I didn't like it at all seeing videos of the tour but it's actually so beautiful in person. I remember when she came onstage and I said "oh okay, I get it" out loud. And it looks so good while she's dancing, with all the light and the black sequins!

I think a workable "explanation" for the one costume during reputation is, ironically, "there will be no explanation, there will just be reputation." As in, we only got to hear from Taylor once (no interviews, no late nights, no articles). The reputation album served as her singular statement.

I think the red bodysuit is meant to mimic the high waisted shorts she loved during that era without having to worry about multiple pieces because she had to do so many quick changes and because she had to layer multiple things over it and it was a good way to call back to the red era without overcomplicating the costume

I will say though, seeing the All10Well coat in person was just.... something else. It was such an emotional moment and the way the lights were glittering off her coat while she stood in the center of stage is a core memory for me now. I'm getting emotional just reliving that moment. I can't wait to see her again in Edinburgh

agreed, it’s nothing too special, but it definitely gives boss vibes, as in, this is adult Taylor, on top of the world, singing the massively popular and successful 10 minute version of an incredibly special song that was barred from being released back in 2012 for being too long and honest, it is an anthem and her truth and just us all singing together with her for 10 minutes feels so special

The Red Set had the crowed absolutelly insane on my show, it was so much fun! I think even Taylor Noticed how crazy we went about it because when she asked "Are you guys enjoying the Red Era?" as she does she was sort of laughing like "Yeah, you are" dndns It was great. Before my eras concerts I was kinda like "the red era is so disappointing" but honestly, screaming and jumping to 22 and we are never ever getting back together was AMAZING (besides all too well that I already knew it was going to be amazing and i knew you were trouble that I still think should be out). About the Red Set: the singles are not my favourite, so i confess i wasnt so excited about it. BUT watching the show live changed my mind! Reasons: 1- the choreography is so fun! to watch the dancers dynamic with Taylor live is something else; 2- the crowd goes wild, everyone is vibing; 3- there are some iconic moments that are really heart warming (the t shirt, the hat deliver, etc); 4 - it's the perfect set to go pee!! Honestly, it's a long show, you have to pee eventually and this set is perfect for it. You can come back in time to watch all too well. That was my experience at São Paulo, I hope you also have an amazing show, Ally!!

I'll be honest I think I love the Red bodysuit, contrary to popular belief, and the coat.
