Dalakos looks like he is based on Daedalus, he is crafting wings in his art. The equipment wings of hubris reference him. Since the wings fail it seems like its Daedalus.

Siona is based on Iason/Jason(her name is an anagram), captain of the Argonauts. They are on a quest to find a Golden Fleece which might be connected to her mechanic of digging for an Aura.

Fun fact: Heliod is the first and only monowhite commander with the text "Whenever you gain life." There was one one in esper and orzhov before and they printed one in monoblack.

I had no idea which two commanders you forgot, so I wrote a little script to find out. It turns out you actually forgot three commanders (at least there are three commanders missing from the list in google docs) They are Rowan Kenrith, Will Kenrith and Homura, Human Ascendant.

15:33 10/10 Tymaret impression. 16:10 You're severely underestimating Siona. She is completely bonkers as combo commander. She tutors for the Earthcraft + Squirrel Nest combo and wins the game as soon as you tutor for the Shielded by Faith combo (16:35). Her power is definitely above 3, maybe even above 5. As for her lore, she is probably a gender-bent King Leonidas, with the "Pylea" being a reference to the "Thermopylae".

Having played against both a Kroxa and Uro deck, I would have to say Uro is strictly more powerful than Kroxa. I love the titan cards and if you look at binding of the titans, it looks like there was supposed to be more than just 2. I really just wish we got some actual lore for these guys!

I love Kroxa, but I didn't want to make them the commander, so my Chainer, Nightmare Adept deck is a secret Kroxa deck. You can often cast Kroxa from your hand, then discard a card and cast from graveyard, then escape, then attack - all in one turn! It's pretty nasty to make everyone discard 4 cards or lose up to 12 life that fast, I love it

Mono green is definitely the best color for these "power is equal to your devotion to X" cards. Green has several really color intensive cards, such as Gigantosaurus (GGGGG), Khalni Hydra (GGGGGGGG), and Primalcrux (GGGGGG), the latter of which is also a proto-Devotion card, back when it was still called Chroma. Also, Wonder Woman *is* kinda Greek. Well, if you count "originates from Greek legends" as being Greek, being an Amazon

This should be an interesting list. A lot of these guys do a lot better in the 99. I like building decks with bad/quirky commanders, so this set was more interesting to me than Eldraine

Hello chaps. Just wanted to point out that I think that you have completely underrated Siona power wise. I built her and she is the only deck of mine that consistently wins turn 3 to 6. However, she also has the ability to go long game by bouncing her and digging for Shielded by Faith, (or tutoring for it). Then when either she or Shielded by Faith is blown up you can recur it - as your in white which has loads of recursion for enchantments, both permanent and spell based. The only thing that you have to wary of is exile, but again I've bounced Siona and stopped that happening as well. I've even won by going voltron with her when I lost Sheilded by Faith when someone exiled my graveyard. Short and long game, Ive found that she is powerful and resilient. Keep up the good work otherwise!

We appreciate the feedback either way! We always want a feel for what our audience does and doesn't like. We do keep Disclaimer Guy out of our podcasts since we don't make promsies we can't keep in those, more should be coming out after the whole Ikoria thing dies down a little! We are also just working on new material in general, which means new jokes maybe even new characters too

full acknowledgement that igor kieryluk is a talented artist, but he has a NASTY habit of over rendering pieces for mtg's tiny frames. definitely one of the major sources of gross CGI looking art. for each piece of his i like there are 3 or 4 that i cringe at every time i see them.
