My favourite big rides went 5. Collosus (it was rly bumpy and knocked ny head around) 4.saw (just didnt rly like it 3.stealth it was so much fun but i would have liked it more if there.was more track after the drop) 2.Nemesis (so smooth and i loved the hanging senstation) 1.Swarm (love the themeing, love the comfort of the seats, love the smoothness)

Completely agree with you. I can't even ride Colossus anymore as I always come off with a bad headache an neck pain (no matter what I do). Swarm is definitely my favourite coaster at Thorpe xx

ok, i would personally put some rides in different positions, but i agree stealth is number 1 :) i think however you should ride it both in front and back as the sensation is different .

I love rush but I was there when a bit of metal flew off and saw it land (has happened quite a few times apparently). I remember when I was younger Katie price :S was on the other side of the ride to me and I put my middle finger up at her every time it went up lmao. I thought it was hilarious.

I went on Sunday and out of the 5 big coasters... 5) Colossus 4) Nemesis Inferno 3) Stealth 2) The Swarm 1) SAW - The Ride Saw is honestly so amazing. Great track, love the Eurofighter model, love the theming

My ranking for the big 5: Collosus: Ridden it once at was very rough Nemesis Inferno: Very good ride thats smooth Saw the ride: Fast, steep, smooth and thrilling Stealth: Amazing launch and one of the best coasters at Thorpe Swarm: Best coaster easily, smooth always, fun but not to scary, perfect number of inversions and a good length. Went again today (April 16th 2023) And here's my updated version 5. Collosus: Wasn't able to reside because of the track replacement happening so it stays at 5 4: Nemesis inferno: Still amazing and really thrilling, I just think the others are better 3: Stealth: Good but I now think its way to rough and too short 2: Swarm: Great, smooth and very thrilling on front row 1: Saw the ride: This ride has gotten way better, still a bit rough but every element is fast and thrilling with not much time in-between elements which provides a great experience. The indoors section is amazing aswell, with all the theming like the dead body that shoots water up to you on that first inversion. My only issue is on front row it can get really rough

My Top 5: 5) Colossus 4) Saw: The Ride 3) Swarm 2) Stealth 1) Nemesis Inferno I know the Alton Towers Nemisis is better than Nemisis Inferno but let's be honest, Alton Towers Nemesis is probably the best coaster in the UK. That being said, marking down Inferno just for it's name sake is pathetic. Such a gem of a ride. I guess it's not so bad it's underrated though, more rides on it for me.

My top coasters: 5: Nemesis Inferno (I found that this ride nowhere near as exciting as the other coasters at the park) 4: Swarm (Decent ride. The seats are quiet comfortable and I love the wing-over drop at the start. You get a decent view of the park) 3: Colossus (I love this ride because it has so many upside-down moments. I also love the pacing of the ride.) 2: Stealth ( This ride has a fantastic launch. Also, I love the ride's top hat as It delivers great airtime at the top. I do wish the ride was longer though.) 1: Saw (This ride is absolutely crazy! I love to bits from the indoor section to the main drop to the airtime hills. This ride has great theming.)

I've only ever been to Disney world for rollercoasters - where would you place Expedition Everest on a scale of intensity in comparison to the Thorpe park rides?

i would say that all of the ‘big 5’ at thorpe would be more intense than expedition everest, however none last for as long, or go backwards - so make of that what you will :)

i’d recommend starting on walking dead - it won’t be as intense physically as everest but it’s a good starting rollercoaster before moving up to the bigger ones

You're one of the few people that also has nemesis inferno in 5th, I always feels judged when I say inferno is my 5th favorite as most put it higher than that but I'm by no means saying it's a bad ride, I still love it just not as much as the other 4 rollercoasters. first of all, enjoy your trip 😌 second of all, i’ll just list some that aren’t too insane: •vortex (fairly gentle forces and not very tall) •the walking dead the ride (horror theming, but no jumpscares and the ride itself is very small) •tidal wave (only if it’s hot 😳) •the swarm (you might not think this as a smaller ride, but the restraints make you feel very secure and its very smooth 😌) •zodiac (very low height restriction, good way to introduce going upside down) •nemesis inferno (similar story to swarm)

When I went to Thorpe Park I only managed to get on one ride because of the ridiculous waiting times and use of only one train when 2 are available….despite the park being incredibly busy….on a school day…. So I suppose my list goes: 1) Stealth *end of list* Never again.
