i remember in 2019, i was 12 and i was playing jailbreak with my brother. when this random dude i didnt even talk much joined me. He tried messaging "i love you" but it got censored so he spaced it out and tried to spell it out. once i realized what he was saying i felt uncomfortably flustered. then he told me to join him so i did. the game i joined was his game that bypassed the roblox chat system. he started telling me that he loves me and that he thinks im beautiful. i still didnt know how to react so i just said said "thanks :]". then day after day we would play games. he often told me over and over that i was gorgeous and that he loved me. He told me not to tell anyone that he loved me. He liked to say "*smooch*" a lot. but he shortened it down because it would get censored. i had no idea i was being gr00med. a few weeks later he asked me to join his game which bypassed the chat system. he told me he wanted me to be his girlfriend. i said okay, i didnt really know how to react, i was only 12. i started eventually saying things like "ily2". but when i did say those things i didnt feel a sense of happiness. i felt a weird feeling like i HAD to say that. but i still thought what he was doing wasnt wrong, but i was very confused too. he asked me what my age was and i said i didnt want to say. He told me it was okay and that I didnt have to say it. which convinced me that he was a nice guy. He told me he was 19, and of course i didnt know that it is disgusting for a 19 year old to be in a relationship with a 12 year old. he had sort of a tactic to get information from me, he would not straight up ask personal questions but do it more in a subtle way. eg: "you're gorgeous, i bet your hair is gorgeous. my hair color is blonde, is your hair color blonde?" which would result in me giving away info. a couple days later we were playing a car game he drove me up a mountain and spammed "*smooch*". i asked him that if what we were doing was okay, he said yes and told me it was normal. but something was telling me it was wrong. so i told him i didnt want to be his friend anymore. he starting writing paragraphs and said if i left him it would break his heart. i didnt even know what to do anymore so i quickly left and unfriended him. then i closed my computer. and i didnt know what or think or feel. now that i look back at it im disgusted :/

Oldbags here, turned 23 this year. Started in near endish 2008 like October? Or Beginning Of 2009. My Dad just let me use his old work email, played through that, and in December of 2011, my mom said I was finally able to have my own account. My God, it's so weird to see this aging form of art, simplicity, actual kid friendly bundle of fun, and the childhood game of many. Turn into "Sting Operation Tycoon." When idk how it started from barely moving lego guys, blowing up brick structures, and sword battling on a giant 1x1 Lego piece with just a little decal flame in the middle. Honestly, it hurts to see how gross, shady, and tragic it's become. This game helped me during my times of ADD mind wandering moments (could last for almost 2 hours straight). I was inspired and wanted to work for Roblox someday, too. Now my little brother, who is 13 now, is making games and creates outfits that look just like mine at times, too. He also started at a young age and grew up with it. Taught him everything. Though, when i realize how terrible this game is predators I get a little worried.
