I beat Deerclops on Legendary mode with Spike Balls without dying, it was almost 3 times faster compared to a Diamond Staff and they are god tier vs invasions, it's definitely not an F. I don't think enough people realize that the highest danger are not the boss fights, but rather the regular enemies in the open world and from invasions, fighting in enclosed enviroments makes weapons like the Pulsebow way better than Daedalus.

id say the hornet staff is better than the imp staff in most ways and having the hive pack makes it do mutch higher dmg than imp with an optimised build if you dont use the free bewitching table buff n have an o1a accessorie its better else worse cuz of inferiour dmg n fire rate an optimised build has 0 or 1 imp for fire buff

the life drain is a hit or miss to be honest, sure it has the life regen thingy but it provides almost little health when used, basiaclly like a worser version of the vampire knifes but thats a serperate class, but overrall id place it in front of vile shard, also FINALLY the tome of wisdom is getting some recognition:)

I haven't watched the whole video yet. 28:25 Imp Staff pierces up to 4 enemies, it does not have infinite piercing. Great video tho :D

Blade of Grass in B is strange to me considering melee progression in pre-hardmode for me is Blade of Grass -> Volcano -> Night's Edge. Your reasoning is also weird to me as just because its "forgettable" doesn't make it a mid weapon. It's obviously no S-tier god weapon that'll carry you through the game up to WoF but its still miles ahead of the Muramasa which you literally only get for the Night's Edge.

Just difference in paths I think, I find the starfury to be far more valuable for myself as a first real melee weapon and usually jump from that straight to volcano, but I agree the blade of grass is still good and B tier is a good ranking if it was just okay-bad I’d put it in C :)

i wouldn't use minishark for skeletron. but it shredds king lsime and eye and maybe another boss but other then that it is a good solid weapon until you can get an upgrade of a different weapon! and when you upgrade the mini wshark to the star cannon it is an huge dps increase! it is so good.

at one point in specifically mobile terraria it was possible to kill plantara with just the cutlass standing still we dont know why or how but it was doesnt make the cutlass good but yknow
