Oh here the comment box? Wonder why it was hiding Lu are you watching fire force? Its a presquil of Soul eater am looking forward to the ending getting animated. Also wonderful video.

I have heard that fire force is a prequel to it but I haven't watched it yet! It's wild that there's a connection haha, I'll definitely get to it one day - though my anime watch list is crazy already haha - just finished frieren (or caught up to where it is anyway) which was immaculate!

'Nightmare Before Christmas'had a devil character, too. He has a more active role than the silent Death, and even has one line: "It's time to party!" in kind of a deep,pretentious preppy voice. One of my favorite animated Deaths is Swedish Death from 'Animaniacs.' Wakko dies from eating too many Swedish meatballs and Swedish Death shows up to claim him. I think his back-and-forth with the Warners influenced Grim's character, and the relationship he develops with them - after Yakko and Dot give up their own lives to join Wakko in the underworld - as they pester and plague him mercilessly.

Is that the Soul Music one someone else mentioned? 2 recommendations - I really should check it out! Good thing we didn't cover it though, we couldn't have done it justice having not been familiar
