Canonically Hermione never obliviates her parents since “Obliviate” is a permanent spell, in the books which are from Harry’s perspective, he was never there so we never knew which spell she used and she did not erase their memories she modified them to make them think they were other people. The movies made it seem more dramatic, also it’s canon she fixed her parents memories after the battle.

Yeah the reason why they muted it, was because Daniel Radcliffe actually lost his grandmother a week before filming, so the scream was real, and Emma Watson and Helena Carter actually started to cry. And the director didn’t feel comfortable putting it in the movie.

Or he’s gonna kill me.” 6- “your parents are dead, you have no family” 5- Harry’s reaction/scream to Sirius death 4- everyone’s reaction to when Harry died, especially in the book when mcgonagall screamed, followed by Ginny, Ron, and hermione… 3- “you okay freddie?” Aka Fred’s death 2- hermiones torture 1- Harry going into the forest to die for his friends I feel like everyones first time reading the books, they were BREAKING DOWN SOBBING when they read when Harry was going into the forest to meet his end. And everyone Harry thought he was going to die but didn’t. Even though I knew there were still more books to the series in the 4th, 5th, and even 6th book. I still thought Harry was about to meet his end. When you get attached to someone so much, you can’t help be worry way to much. Even now I still cry reading the seventh book when he’s going to meet his death, because just THINKING he could of died, and seeing the reaction of his friends and people who he considers his family, their reactions hurt me the most. Sometimes for me it’s not losing the loved one necessarily, but the reaction of everyone around you, even if you weren’t close to them, the reaction makes me cry every time. Anyways that was my rant for the day

@@KatieWootton for me the books were so much worse, the fact that he wasn’t even saying goodbye, the only person he told was Neville so there was another backup to finish the job, he passed Ginny but didn’t say anything to her, he had to force himself to go save them all. He was trying to stall death a little longer, but knew in the end he would have to die for everyone else he’s knows and loves to be happy, to be free. Anyways that’s just a little bit of why I love/hate that part because it always makes me cry no matter how many times I’ve read it and know he doesn’t die

Jeff Rawle really beautifully portrayed a father overwhelmed with grief in the moment. That moment where he sits up and holds on to Dumbledore, most other actors would cling to the dead Cedric, but he really looked like a real father just so overwhelmed he didn't know what to do with himself.

Honestly hermionie's torture always hits hard because not only is her scream chilling but the paet that breaks me the most is seeing the word mudblood ingraved in her arm is heartbreaking because everyone judges her because of something she can't control and the fact that she is an amazing and bright witch honestly drives it home that no matter how good she is they will never accept her. It kind of reminds me of myself in a way because sometimes I feel that no matter what I do I will never be good enough for my parents and my peers. Like Im too smart or too wierd to have friends. That's why hermionie's torture is #1 for me.😢
