Highly recommend clionadh... they’re so ethereal and eye catching. I’ve got 12 of the so far, and I plan on making another order this week!! A lot of my other shadows get neglected because of how much I use them. Highly recommend smoulder, patina, and forge!! And I love Milly, she’s one of my favorite youtubers, along with you and Angelica!

I've been super happy with the shadows I've bought from Terra Moons. I haven't got any of the true multichrome shades with the black base but I have several lighter, multi shifting shades & love them. They're so smoothe, shiny, reflective, colorful--just pretty & I don't need to use any special mediums or glitter glues with them which I really appreciate since my eyes can't handle that. I just use my fingers & get great results. They make such nice lid & inner corner highlight shades.

Unfortunately, ALL of Looxi eyeshadows crease on me, and I've talked to other people (generally with more hooded eyelids) and they have this problem too. I think their formulation has too much synthetic wax in it and not enough oil control agents. I had to crush mine up, add some ingredients on hand that I ordered from TKB Trading a while back (kaolin clay, magnesium myristate, and silica powder), and repress. Typically, I have oily eyelids but creasing is never really an issue for me if I use my normal eyeshadow primer. With the Looxi I tried a bunch of different methods, including setting my primer before AND after with powder, and none of the methods worked. I think when we talk about inclusive makeup brands, inclusive formulas should be part of the discussion too. I also have a creasing problem with some of Adept Cosmetics shadows (some of the Diamond formula are super emollient - probably have a ton of dimethicone) and I spoke to the owner on Instagram and she said that other customers love her formula and that no one has ever complained about it. 🙄 There's a huge diversity of eye shapes for East Asian people but generally our eyelids/eye shape tend to make eyeshadows more prone to creasing because of the friction.

I understand what you mean but I think that it’s near impossible for all formulas to work for everyone. That’s why I’m so grateful there’s so many products and reviews out there. Between skin tone, skin type, eye shape, age, personal preference I can’t imagine a formula being 100% for everyone. However in Looxis case I’ve heard many people have creasing issues and I wish they would reformulated. I think it’s really cool you reformulated them yourself

I just feel like with powder eyeshadows, I'd generally err towards having a more oil controlling formula because eyelids tend to be like the t-zone and produce a little more oil than other parts of the face. But you're right that different things work for different people. It sucks because Looxi's shadows are so affordable but I hesitate to buy anything else from them unless they reformulate.

I love a multichrome moment ♡ My favourites are: 1-Clionadh: Forge, Patina and Weathered, to name a few.. 2-Devinah: the Butterfly collection is absolutely gorgeous. 3-Terra Moons: Sundazed, Mirage. 4-Touch of Glam: Sneeze me Pink, We're all Mad Here. I have tried multichromes from other brands and I really prefer a smooth application - not a fan of the chunky formulas. The above brands have beautiful formulas ♡

M Carrier going to try touch of glam based on your recommendation. I have a couple Clionadh, one JD Glow and some of the Pat McGrath special shades from her palettes. So far her formula is the easiest to apply, is the prettiest and lasts the longest. I just hate that they’re only available in her big palettes. 😭

M Carrier I absolutely love VR Sextraterrestrial from Pat McGrath - nothing else so far compares. Her shadows really are amazing - I have both Mothership VII and VIII (Divine Rose I and II) - all of them are 😍 except I’m meh about Iridescent Pink 003. All of the golden shades and toppers are fab - every time I do a look using those shadows I get complimented and asked what I’m wearing. Every. Single. Time. I know people think she photoshops everything but I don’t think so anymore after using them. They really do apply like they appear in her videos. I just purchased Thallassic and Paralucia from Devinah and We’re All Mad Here and Sneeze me Pink from Touch of Glam. I saved Twisted Dirty Martini, Mad Hatters Tea Party, Through the Looking Glass and Alter Ego for possible future purchase if I like the two I bought. I have Fluoresce, Carving, Luminare and Blaze from Clionadh and A Lot from JD Glow. JD is hard to work with IMO, and the Clionadh shadows are good, I just recently got them so I’m still playing with them. They don’t seem to have the lasting power I need but they’re definitely heads above most other shadows. I also like the grungy green gold shimmers from the Alter Ego dupes first Natasha Denona. I have all of them. 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ Maybe because I’m old and my eyelids don’t behave like they used to but a lot of shadows disappear, crease badly, skip all over when blending, or don’t apply easily. And I work 10-14 hour days, half inside, half out, and I end up sweaty most days so things just don’t last on me.

@@angelacameron4524 SO many people love Pat and unfortunately I have been underwhelmed :( I bought two of the mini palettes and they were okay. With the larger palettes, I can't justify paying that price since I would only use maybe 3-4 shades per palette. I love Natasha face products but same thing as Pat, I have been underwhelmed with her shadow palettes :( Phoebis and Marpesia from Devinah are stunning as well. I love Paralucia so much that I actually bought a back-up lol I also really love Gelicide, Gallus, and Nacarat. I just received Tucana and it is INSANELY gorgeous. And I got the Somewhere Over the Rainbow bundle, and it looks so fun - right up my alley. I love purples and emerald/grunge tones. I haven't tried the Twisted shadows from ToG. How was the formula? Santa's Sleigh is a bit sheer but the shift is beautiful. Firecracker and Love Me, Love Me Not are so smooth and pigmented. From Terra Moons, I have been loving Martian and Sweet Like Honey. Total fall vibes. Have you tried Looxi? Noir and Berry Sexy are really nice. Some Looxi shadows are a bit sheer/toppers but can be built up. Sometimes I tap them on the centre of my lid to add a little extra to my shadow look. It's really fun. From Menagerie, Glacier and Wolfling are really pretty - super shiny and bright. I made my first order with Glaminatrix and Truffle blew me away. I am not usually a neutral gal, but it's mouth-wateringly beautiful. I am obsessed with everything from Give Me Glow. I ordered the Vintage Rose palette and love it so much I placed a second order to get singles. The shimmer formula is out of this world. I love the texture. I love Clionadh's everything lol Royalty, Verte and Burnt Sienna from the new-ish shades. Their standard shadows are amazing as well. Hex, Toadstool and Yukon are gorg. Whenever I wear Clionadh shadows, I always get feedback and it's lovely ♡ What base do you use? I rotate between the Nars shadow base, Too Faced shadow primer, Sigma shadow base or Tarte Lid Lock. For all shimmers and multichromes, I tap the NYX glitter glue on my lid and it's fantastic. I never use setting spray any more as I find the glitter primer to be so much better and helps reduce fallout. JD Glow is hard to work with?? That's sad. I really wanted to try their shadows :( That's another reason why I prefer the smoother shadow formulas as opposed to the glittery / chunky formulas. I find those can sit on your lid in a way that emphasizes lid creases/texture.

I use my looxie multichromes as nail polish! Lol. Put on a base coat..let it dry..apply eyeshadow with sponge eyeshadow applicator...apply topcoat....beautiful!!!

I remember when Dawn Eyes was such a tiny company and they didn't have an IG yet. They had this crazy website with literally 700-1000 shadows in a whole bunch of series and they were like $4 each or something. I bought 50 sample baggies and Dawn closed the site to do the revamp to how the site is now THE DAY I went to order, but I emailed her and she was so amazing, she processed my order from the list of shades I had written when narrowing down my purchase and invoiced me on paypal. She put in about 6 extra free and they came in a couple of days in a cute lace bag. I still use them now, they have probably 5 full looks in each baggie worth and each baggie was 50cents - $1. Wonderful customer service and I've heard other people had great experiences too.

The only mutichromes I’ve tried are from JD Glow. They look beautiful in the pan but are sooo hard to work with and they scared me away from trying other ones. Have you guys tried the JD Glow ones? I’m wondering how they compare to others.

Maya Sigler I tried the Multichromes from JD glow, I liked the pressed one. The liquid ones I still need to figure out and also tried the new multi chrome liners, but the applicator is very thin so you barely see the shift.

I've found Looxi works fine over my nyx waterproof primer, but I didn't pick up the multichromes that were labeled as such. The recent butterfly Kisses collection was pretty nice, I bought six and only got one kinda dud but it think it's just pressed really hard and needs some layering.

Yay! I cheered out loud for your top pick because now I know I chose right! Hahaha. I have 3 from Terra Moons, I also have some of the chameleons, I love her shadows. If you order again I highly recommend Mirage! It's the most neutral one I have and I didn't think it would be my top pick but it honestly is. It's got so many colours in it, it has the most obviously visible shift. My partner is always surprised to hear me say it's only one eyeshadow!

If you happen to know about a replacement for Clarion pearlescent four color perlescent pallette? It was the most beautiful pallette I've ever found. They discontinued. They were light colored pastels like light blue and light pink but they really popped. I usually would avoid those two colors and similar light pastels. If there's any palette that you come across that's similar to what I described, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

I have a clionadh jewelled multichrome in the shade patina and terra moon mood ring (bought the shade because of you haha!) and I have to say that the formulas are very similar in my opinion! love them both but my favourite multi chromes are the vibrant multichromes by clionadh, they don't have that traditional black base which is probably why I favour them.

Back in the 2000s... Pre 2010 I think as I'm not sure when they were discontinued products but yeeeears ago back when The Body Shop was still MLM they had pressed ones. They were $10 each which was a LOT then lol but it was my luxe go to buy and I wore them all the time. There were four or five colors total I think. But for some reason they ended up discontinued. I've never found anything truly like those were. They were very millennium y2k pastel shifting colors of blue, green, an orange kind... Ugh go back in time and stock up if I could 😂

I’m loving multichrome lately but they’re SO hard to get ahold of! Every time I go to Clionadh (sp?) their website is all sold out of most shades, and never have the shades I want. I tried to get Sidney Grace and they were sold out. Beauty Bar Baby....sold out. Terra Moon....sold out...JD Glow...nope, try again. Devinah...not today. I finally got some from Baby Bat the other day. Still waiting for my order, but can’t wait to try them. I’m dying to try the Sidney Grace. I just think they’re shades are gorgeous. They look pretty similar to the Pat McGrath Blitz Astral quad and are just so beautiful!

I really want to get some of the iridescent multichromes but I honestly cannot make a decision between shades and between Clionadh and Terra Moon. I would love to see another comparison video between Terra Moon and the new Clionadh ones you got esp Red Giant and Ray. Are the Terra Moon ones glittery? And not to give you FOMO but the Clionadh Jeweled ones are unreal!

Multichromes make me weak in the knees. I think of the ones I own JD Glow's multichromes are my favorite. I don't have them but I really want to check out Chaos Cosmetics and if course Clionadh. It'll be interesting to see what the liquid multichromes from Natasha Denona are like!

I have 2 Chaos* pressed multichromes (Gravity and Nirvana) and they are pretty nice! They are smooth but they almost feel thin, like I def have to work to get full coverage but at the same time it isn't patchy like my JD glow ones are (I hope this makes sense) I recently got a couple Clionadh Jeweled ones and wow are they easy to use and stunning. In an overexaggerated way it is like the difference between vibrant watercolors and acrylic paint (sorry that was the only thing I could think of that didn't involve the word "buttery" or food examples lol) *EDIT: I'm sorry, I have multichromes from Chaos Makeup, I didn't realize there was a Chaos Cosmetics! But I am glad I found them they look crazy beautiful!

You have to try the jeweled multi chromes. Those blow the terra moons out of the water.

I live for multichromes, thanks to you mainly. Terramoon Issa definitely my top pick along with Touch of glam. You need to try enchantedlustre.....I know Annette have used them before.... if you haven't tried them. I have some Dawn cosmetics also but haven't used them and I just discovered beautybarbaby thru you. My makeup collection gives me joy🥰
