I have been waiting for Insurgency on console for over two years now. I have patiently waited and despite the bugs and crashes I honestly couldn’t be happier. MGE was one of the first channels I started watching to learn about Insurgency once I started playing and the community he has is more welcoming and funny than any other gaming community I have been apart of in my 16+ years of gaming. the way i play this game i use almost all guns semi auto even when auto is statistically better and an option most of the time. it’s more immersion for me, i have background in room clearing and a decade worth of time shooting irl, you would be surprised how real training can help you in game

Also about the FAMAS F1, you have to use the triplet feature when you try to do a 1v X>1 in order not to waste too many ammos too fast. but you rly do need a good aim to do so. One more point about this gun is that they really messed up the iron sights compared to the real ones, the front part of the iron-sight is actually much thiner irl and so, allows for a much better aquiring at long distances.

I agree with the vast majority of these placements, with a few disagreements. I think AUG, the VHS, and the FAL are all S tier weapons, I think the Tavor is a B due to how expensive it is for essentially just being redundant due to having the Scar, and I believe the Mk18 is essentially just a better M4 due to being the same gun aside from having a much better iron sight.

m1 garand should be way higher imo. Reliably 1 shots enemys, 2,5 scope is perfect magnification for this game, but yes reload is a little slow but easy to work around.

The reasoning for the FAL having better performance is because of the game tying in real world stats to the guns, the standard FAL has a longer barrel than the standard G3, which means better performance from the round. The IRL FPS difference is roughly 80-100 FPS, which isn’t world altering but does make a difference.

It’s wierd tho the EBR with suppressor sometimes feels weaker , it’s very capable same round 308 but that and the M110 with suppressors they sound good but idk just feels like there a mini bit less lethal but they are super Op the 7.62x51 cartridge is just solid

G36 and CQBR should be S+ tier. G36 especially cuz u have very fast and low recoil gun by the cost of 3. You can place a smoke grenade launcher on g36, pick up heavy loadout and 3 smoke grenades and literally become a smoke bot to spam SIX FREAKING SMOKES you can smoke the whole map with smokes so ur team can push, and you still very deadly in close and mid range

Fun fact : AUG is almost same or better than AKM in every sector of stats except penetration power, but AUG is B tear and AKM is S tear. same using class, same cost and fire rate, almost same damage, better velocity, better recoil, cheap and good exclusive sights but aug is still B tear LOL One more fun fact : L85A2, which Gibs said it doesn't hit hard, actually hit harder than QTS-11, but the former is at C tear even it has better fire rate more than 100 rpm and the latter is at A tear looooool

Hi Power is actually great if you use extended, I'd argue better than m9 for the price point, 2 shot kill out to 6 metres away with worse irons is insignificant, obviously none of the pistols except the one shotters and the sig suck, and the one shotters and the sig are meh for the price point, i wish all pistol caliber guns were buffed, too much SVD and assault rifles rn, tbh anything that isn't 5.56 or .50 caliber or 7.62x54r needs a buff imo, lowering recoil on pistols and making the unholster speed and reload and move speed faster with more reliable 2 shots on the Beretta and .45s, with compensators reducing vertical recoil too, a hip fire stance which you have to adjust less for at close range, .45s being cheaper with less recoil, the horizontal on the Glock not being so right-leaning and maybe add a few machine pistols, make all pistol attachments 1 point because a 2 point red dot on a pistol is stupid, same as suppressors which greatly increase how much your gun sticks out and can block irons, idk, pistols need some love, i know this game is supposed to feel more realistic but shooting a guy twice in the arm and once where his ribs are and having him still beam you isn't exactly immersive

@@empirednw6624 if you can’t control the recoil of it you must be unable to control the recoil of 90% of the guns in the game it has such low recoil I can control it in full auto with a 4x while standing it’s not that bad at all and to add it has the highest velocity meaning in close range if you start shooting at the same time as another person you will almost always win especially since it also matches most guns fire rates

the tavor actually have more punch than the SCAR H because of the length of the barrel. Also better long range dmg and better pen. so it doesn't get 2taped by the light armor

Tbh the PKM really shouldn’t be in S teir. It’s hardly a 1 shot kill, only in close range is it. When the MG-3 is a one shot at longer ranges, has a faster bullet velocity, and better penetration preformance at range. The M-240 also has a longer 1 shot kill range, again better accuracy and superior ballistics, and much clearer ironsights. The M-249 May Fire a smaller caliber, but works much better at the job the PKM does as a squad automatic support weapon.

The L85A1 Variant was actually so terrible in real life that they made the L85A2 in order to fix at least half the problems it had with that rifle. One issue was the bulky design at first, along with it being bullpup and having a lack of what is a recoil spring.

Trying to go by how effective you think they are is boring .Go by how cool and thematic they are and then you make them effectige .An M24 with full Sniper set up , a Mosin-Nagant and a Remington 870 that I pair with an MR-73 , a FAL that I pair with a Hi-Power , an AKM that I pair with a Makarov and an M16 and M1 Garand that I pair with an M1911 .They can easily shred .But the point for me is to have Fun .

G36 the best scope? 🤮The chunky silhouette ruins the sight picture for me. It's cool to have a toggle but takes up too much of the screen for me. YMA95 Scope is my favorite, although have to mention that it's not zeroed in the game and the point of impact is a tad higher than the center. A little annoying but the vivid crosshairs are great.
