Ranking LEGO Ninjago Gimmick Sets (Worst to Best)

I am ranking the Ninjago gimmick sets from worst to best.

Tbh you talked more about the figures rather than the actual gimmicks of the sets, making this really not all that valid tbh. Its your opinion, I get it. But there was less depth to it. As someone who owned the Dragon Master Wu, I genuinely found that fun and I don't see how it didn't work well. It actually flew and glided across the room which is its main gimmick. The figure suits could be better I'll say but, the actual build itself was fun. Again, how can you form a proper opinion on something if you haven't actually seen or experienced how that said product works other than just from "hearing" what others say? Don't knock something till you actually try or see how something works for yourself. And that goes for other things too.

This is actually a really good question. I don’t own every Ninjago set. So when I do a ranking, the sets I don’t have are naturally going to be ranked lower. If I’m going to rank all of the gimmick sets then I need to rank all of them. If I just ranked the ones that I have and left out the ones I don’t then the video won’t be as good. Now in some scenarios a set that I don’t have might rank higher like I don’t have the original Ninjago City Set. But I would rank that higher than a lot of the sets I have. It all comes down to experience and opinion. Let me give you an example outside of Ninjago and KZbin. I have a part time job at Lowe’s home and improvement and in the tools department people go to the tools associate and ask what are the best tools. The tools associate doesn’t own every tool in the store or have experience with all of the tools in the store. They can give their best opinion and advice but they can’t always satisfy the customer. They only make around $14 an hour so them own every tool is not ideal. It’s the same thing in other departments too. We don’t hire electricians and plumbers to work in the plumbing and electrical departments. This was a long winded answer but I just found your comment very interesting.

@boltontv04 I was giving more of some advice on how rankings should go and how opinions can be formed on multiple and not just one aspect of something you're giving your thoughts on. Its crucial for stuff like this tbh

Whenever I do a ranking it’s always subjective. There is no objective ranking when it all comes to opinions because we are all biased in some type of way. People value different things more than others. You may value playability, I may value display ability. No list is going to be perfect.

I looked at display ability, builds, value, the way the spinners looked, minifigures, and collectibility. And I value all these different aspects differently. I usually prefer display sets than play sets. In my ranking videos I’m going to naturally prefer display sets than play sets.
