Ok, first, thanks for taking on the ranking, Rick, and fulfilling my request! I love that you did this and a bunch of unexpected placements. Seasons End is right up there for me too but probably 2nd in my list. Now, secondly, this is so bittersweet with your announcement. Wah!!! This makes me sad. I understand though if your heart’s not in it. Hopefully you’ll continue on FB. I’ll hold out hope that you’ll do more videos down the road. Thanks again for doing this. It was very much enjoyed!

@@TheVinylverse Thx Bill. No plans to leave FB. It’s more or less the way I prefer to show albums…and to keep in touch with family/friends….kindred Marillion fans

I have a hard time ranking the Fish and H albums together. They are also my favorite band. Going to see probably the final Montreal Weekend in March. I enjoyed your ranking. Hope to see you back but I understand. Cheers Rick!

I never got to a weekend; just a couple shows in Chicago...which I enjoyed immensely. Never saw them with Fish as I was a broke kid back then and concerts were just not in the budget. I do enjoy Fish's solo works. Ranking them would be another ordeal and a rabbit hole I rather not go down...this Marillion ranking was time consuming enough. Had I included live albums and comps Best of Both Worlds would have been very high on the list as it is what really turned me on to h era Marillion. The Thieving Magpie would also be way up there and Happiness is the Road; essence. It would probably be nearly impossible to rank all of their musical offerings. I'm also rather fond of A Collection of Recycled Gifts.

Aw man, I really hate to see you go. I’ve enjoyed you and your channel so much. I definitely hope you come back because while I don’t know you irl I’ve certainly enjoyed getting to know you through your videos. Take care of yourself and… see you when we see ya (hopefully soon!)

@@CDRabbitHole thx Daryl. I’ll surely be watching your videos and leaving the occasional comment. You’ve pointed out some groups I have not heard of. Love that. Gives me some new tunes to check out. So, I’ll be back to learn some more.

Hey Rick! I don;t think I have one artist where I love everything they have released. I agree with your positioning of 'Somewhere Else', that is actually where they lost me. Even though I have bought everything since, I have been disappointed with all of them to varying degrees. That is a very high ranking for 'Holidays', most people have it much lower. I would have a hard time ranking Fish and Hogarth together. Cheers and good luck!

@@AisForAliceBisForBob I pretty much based my opinion on the percentage of songs on each album that I just plain love. Fish’s lyrical poetry is second to none, but h’s delivery of even the more mundane songs ups the ante for me. Love the past of this band and their evolution; so many changes.

Hey Rick. I get more out of the vc than I obviously put in. I see your point. Chill out and take that break. You have a friend in Pittsburgh so I’ll keep the light on for you. 👍. Greg

@@old4mat probably a break. I don’t know. Not having much fun making the videos. More fun watching vids like yours or some others. I do most of my music related stuff on FB. Just easier. Or maybe I’m just feeling a little moody…lol.
