I regularly use my ohuhus and copics together because the color ranges are different. Copic has way more light and muted colors and ohuhu has more deep dark colors and bright vivid colors so the depth you can get using them together is an absolute treat

I own them they are brilliant quality If you accidentally leave the lid off a pen then take the tip out flip it round and you can use the other side just as normal 👍🏻👍🏻

​@@mustafaasad3230i recommend getting honolulu if its your first try. Brush tips help alot , as bullet nibs are a bit more tricky to blend with. So i reccomend you try out Honolulu!

I use Ohuhu markers n I love em.. especially on some good watercolor paper.. art work comes out amazing and looks like it's been printed.

Markers look amazing and blend and layer so well on watercolor paper, but using watercolor paper has its drawbacks. Because its so absorbent it drinks the ink like no other so your markers will dry out very fast. Especially if its 100% cotton paper.

I think Ohuhu markers are better for beginners because they are cheap and still give you a good quality when making art if you want to spend a good amount of money on great quality markers then I think Copic would be good for professionals and people who are used to drawing and who have the most experience but overall I love Ohuhu

Its really easy, just touch the paper area you need to be coloured with the end of the markers nib.

I bought the Ohuhu 72 bullet/chisel tips and the skin tone set. Really good markers. One day I'll own a set of Copics though. They will be mine, oh yes, they will be mine. Great work ADC 👍

Honestly I'd recommend Windor & Newton Pro markers or Spectrum Noir pros over the Copics. Same quality, slightly cheaper.

Ive only ever tried the arrtx ALP markers and havent been able to try the OROS though I really want to! If theyre on par with Ohuhu and I already have Ohuhu are they worth getting though?

It depends I guess, I was sent them by ARRTX to try and it’s a skin tone set that I have which luckily I didn’t have comparable colours in ohuhu. I think it’s worth looking at the ashes they offer and do a comparison to see if it’s Worthing buying in addition to your ohuhus.

I’d say the price of the copic aren’t worth it but the phishing comes cheaper and great quality, the copic are the best but they’re just expensive

I’ve used ohuhu and copics and my opinion, ohuhu defitinally wins You have less price for markers that are just as good, if not better. Plus you have access to a lot of colors, probably more than you need, for a lower price Compare it to copics and you will soon see how the high price of copics takes away from the actual quality of the market, because even if the quality is good the price is not affordable for most

Totally agree with you, I have a skin tone set and a colour set I don't regret buying them. But My copics I don't think they were worth the money.

Nope, not better than Copics at all. Copics draw much smoother and blend much better. They have a more premium brush tip, which is meant to draw like a paint brush. Ohuhu has a more sturdy and not very high quality brush and doesnt draw as smooth an blend as well. The ink is of course also different and less quality. Dont get me wrong, they are great budget markers. But they are not better than Copics. No way, sorry.

I have recently received my Ohuhu markers and found out that many of the brush nibs are blunt/frayed. Upon further inspection I discovered that the nibs were placed way too far out of the barrel, it looks like it hasn’t been inserted deep enough and as a result the nibs were squished by the cap. Has anyone else had this problem - perhaps someone who have also recently bought a set from Ohuhu?

I have never had this issue even though ive gotten multiple sets of ohuhu markers. But I can tell you you can take out the nibs and reverse them for a fresh brush tip! Not many marker companies do that and if you try it I hope it helps

@@h.4889 i have the 120 set the original 48 pastel set and the 48 skintone set of the brush/chisel markers.and i get being sad but im glad it helped and to be honest ive been using mine regularly for a couple years now and have only needed to flip 2 nibs out of all of them. Some markers have even dried out like i used the ink up but didnt have a freyed tip so hopefully the fresh side will last a long time for you like mine have! =3

Just looking at this drawing, the price gap doesn’t seem really justified… If I was a professional artist I’d probably give it a second thought, but as an amateur, the Ohuhu seem like an excellent start for a result pretty much as good as with more expensive markers !

What no one mentions is the actual cost of using markers, I have some COPIC sketch and 48 Ohuhu chisel & brush and a few others, I sketch urban and landscape so don’t need a full set of markers, purchase cost per marker is relevant yes but how long does each marker last, COPIC sketch not so long, Ohuhu about 50% longer. So for COPIC you have to buy refills, the only brand with refills, Ohuhu are only available as sets so you got a lot of spares… Ohuhu recently have introduced replacement markers but very few and only in bullet point. I use COPIC refills in my Ohuhu markers which are not cheap, COPIC pulled a fast one with refills originally 24ml @ 11.00 €, now 12ml @ 7.00 € half the size for ¾ the price, having said that it’s the only solution. This is what artists on KZbin (or are some just KZbinrs) don’t tell you, for every maker they use regularly they have a COPIC refills. In my opinion Ohuhu chisel brush markers are the best alternative to COPIC Sketch, ProMarkers are good but also no refills, only bullet point, more expensive than Ohuhu and chunky like drawing with broom handle 😂

Im a good artist myself and Personally i like ohuhu better, let me explain, Ohuhus are cheaper, and has GREAT blending ability, ohuhu is good with their markers and colored pencils meaning they are great together, the ohuhu marker tip is more precise for details. So ohuhu is pretty good

Then main draws for Ohuhu for me are obviously, the price, but also the nib. It being much firmer lends more resistance against the paper, which I prefer as I feel it gives me more control over where I make the marks. Copic's being as soft as it is feels like it bends a bit too much, same as Winsor and Newton.

Love the ohuhu just because the name is fun. Jk(mostly) but i like some colors on ohuhu's side more than the copic. Like the yellow in his gold spider legs for the ohuhu is more vibrant and lively but the blue in the copic just feels better even though they're both pretty close. Even the reds are pretty good but id probably go with copic because of the texture and blending. Id say it fits more my style.

I use Copic marker 358( my parents bought them for me) and I use them for anime drawings and I really have to say they blend very well I've been using them for 1 year but the ohuhu give you the same effect it's good for beginners who don't have that much experience yet. It's also not that expensive for the price and you can always change the brush, so with ohuhu too.
