Either My Friend or Crossroad are the first MC release I've ever heard. I still remember why these two specifically. My Friend because of Kabuzan's Top 15 Emotional Songs; while Crossroad because I've wanted to know how Trance actually sounds like.

Generally Monstercat's songs are good in every way, but depending on tastes, one prefers to just listen to beats or something more melodic.
