WOW! Never seen anyone put together a Linux software list this deep! I've been inside the Linux / FLOSS community for a coupe decades but really only explored top 3 layers of your iceberg! This makes it more clear than ever that it's rime to give up the familiarity with Mac (though I primarily run FLOSS apps on that platform) and get fully switched over to Linux -- there are more than a dozen apps here that would be extremely valuable. As a music & video geek, Reaper and DaVinci Resolve are my gateway necessities.

Thank you! As a long term Windows user, videos like this let me think, there are people out there, who actually make use of Linux! o) I'm already kind of tired of the usual "Linux Applications Videos" showing LibreOffice, Chrome, VLC and that's it. These applications are surely useful, but surely not enough when trying to make serious use of an OS and get real work done, so thank you. Maybe you even have more tools to show, I will look at all of them! o)

you can use easy effects as a equalizer for your headphones too, for the audiophiles out there green with envy only works with x11 and not wayland having a out of memory killer is a very good practice on linux, ive had moments when playing minecraft with mods for multiple hours without restarting and then having to hard reboot my pc because of my system going unresponsive due to running o.o.m. (most likely due to memory leaks from minecraft) piper requires the tool ratbagd to be installed and running waydroid does not work with hardware acceleration on nvidia also in your pronunciation you are missing some filler words like "it", "the" and such (like in 13:27 you miss a "the" in "not exactly same", should be "not exactly *the* same", the subtitles has "the" in it reinforcing my point), this is a common pattern ive noticed turkish people do including my prev english teachers, saying this to give you a opportunity to improve,

I like this video a lot and I learned a lot aswell but I'd love to know where to get some of the apps :) For example the Fan Control App you mention at 9:20. I am looking for a good fan control app in Linux for months now and this one looks exactly like the fan control app I used to use on windows but where do I get it? Neither the distro-repos of ubuntu nor flathub seem to know this app :/ Could you tell me where to get it? :)

Well, I do know things from all levels, but I don't know half of them deeply. I guess it depends on the person's domain: if it's someone who works with office applications, they'll know more about that software. If it's someone in networking, they'll naturally know more about tools and systems related to that field. And the list goes on...
