I will be that Shan Tsung Shujinko main that will morph into every character. But it’s going to take a while since I’m still learning along with using a lever less fighting pad , I need about a year since I need to also learn the moves of all the characters

I've been listening to this podcast when it first uploaded but I didn't to comment on it cuz I didn't wanna bring bad vibes, but this has lived rent free on my head for long enough. I can't agree on what Hatyr said about Shujinko steal of Ermac.Likey those 2 bar moves can be hit out of. This to me sound like stolen move jealousy, I'm sorry.

As a Geras main its nice to see a tier list that actually places him propely, it was driving me nuts seeing everyone put him in S tier or A tier my response was always "why dosen't anyone play him then". The reason hes bad is hes fundamentally a rush down with no pressure, slow movement and only one poke with an extremely risk reward heavy playstyle where the risk is always much worse than the reward, hes like the opposite of Raiden in every way good and bad, but mostly bad. To fix him Geras needs a parry I know its a weird thing to add to his kit, but he would be busted if you buffed his frames or his pokes so he needs a new tool entirely and a GOOD parry would not only play into his mix up heavy gameplan but allow him to play mind games to establish pressure and keep him a high skill character I love Geras in MK1 but he is not good at all right now, he is so weak vs Ashrah as he dosent have an answer to her sword poke move at all, a parry would fix this, plus it works thematically just have him turn into sand and teleport behind his opponent or explode like a sand grenade and reform it would work stylistically. Also why does Geras have 950 health, its dumb and such a lazy way to balance the game, also it would be nice if he had some other kameos which were viable beyond Lao Mortaro, its a bit boring being stuck with just 2.

i play raiden a bit. i’ve started using razzle dazzle after poking with down 4. plus on hit so u get a free mixup with the back 2 and forward 4. u can also kinda steal your turn back on block because the pushback makes it safe against most strings

Shang's form change is really important to his kit. Like y'all mentioned, if you have great kharacter knowledge he can be deadly

In regards to Li Mei, she's got ridiculous damage with Scorpion and Janet that make it feel pointless to use a different kameo. Currently Janet does everything scorpion does and more so it's the best option for a main of Li Mei, but scorpion does similar damage much easier so he is optimal for pocket Li Meis. I have her in B tier, but the fact that every single string has a gap and her only mids aren't very enforceable really restrict her. Rewind is our only real representative.

Cl0ckwerk and Raivazz are fantastic morphing shsngs. Also, theres quite a few others too. Honeybee has some sets against morphing shangs on his channel.

Geras + Motaro seems to be the current go-to for players like foreverking and demoralize. His neutral is lacking a bit for sure, but he has consistent big damage from any hit, hourglass combo breaker, crazy setups with the clone, and motaro gives him great plus frames to enforce a strike/throw/armor bait mind game. He strikes me as a character that will be stronger over time once optimized

Finally people who actually understands how bad sub is. People keep saying khameleon is sub saving grace and She isn’t consistent. Ex ice ball needs to be faster(maybe increase scaling) Ex vapors no scaling (limit how many times used in combo) F1 make faster and or better range B2 better range Overall some tier list is solid and I enjoy watching podcast when new ones are available

This game i feel ahould be measured in teams ... For example Nitara and Khameleon is an extremely dangerous team in the right hands as they gel so well, movement, damage and mixups.. one the scariest characters to face in the game when she is played properly . So few know how to use her full potential but she is very scary kn the right hands ...

Raiden isnt S tier anymore. His safe pressure is mostly gone. And that was the onyl thing he did better than other characters on the cast.

Sub zero with Khameleon is on a whole other level. Sub is really strong right now actually. Unforunately he needs a Kameo to make him strong. Alone sure low tier. But with Khameleon, its crazy. He is lower A tier.
